Best tasting protein?

I'm looking for a tasty, dirt-cheap protein. WPC or a cheap blend is perfectly fine for my purposes. I enjoy Nutrapro but saw that it was out of stock(anyone know an ETA?). Otherwise, I'll be dropping some money on a 5lb container and would prefer not to get stuck with something that taste like crap. Just need a basic chocolate flavor. Past experiences have been with the following:


Muscle Milk-chocolate (love it)
ON's whey chocolate(drinkable but that's about it)
Elite - chocolate(uggh)
true protein's WPC- chocolate(decent but the shipping cost was ridiculous)
nectar- lemonade (gag me with a spoon)
substance wpi- grape(different but not bad)

I'm missing quite a few but these were recent ones that came to mind
 
american whey is by far the best i've ever tasted, not cheap though, beverly also makes awesome tasting protein....but not cheap
 
have you looked at the whey on Invalid Link Removed

Vanilla Trutein mixed with rice/almond/cow milk tastes like whipped cream or a slightly thin Steak and Shake Vanilla shake. mmmmmmm.

Their stuff is top notch, the chocolate protein is without a doubt the best tasting I've ever had and cheap for a 6lb'er. If you like Muscle Milk as you said, then you'll love this, as Muscle Milk to me has that fake, nasty/weird cocoa taste to me that so many chocolate proteins have... TruScience Chocolate protein literally taste like a chocolate milk shake to me. I usually had a half frozen banana and some peanut butter for more cals... taste amazing.
 
trutein is definitely some good stuff. I ordered the samples and enjoyed every flavor
 
Best tasting proteins with good nutrition profiles IMO:

Beverly International Ultimate Muscle Protein (Vanilla)
Beverly International Muscle Provider (Chocolate)
XF Ultra Peptide 2.0 (Choc PB and Cinnamon Roll)
Gaspari Myofusion (Banana)
 
I am currently using chocolate Myofusion by Gaspari and chocolate/banana Trutien and both taste great.
