Best tasting protein powder?

Iforce BBM and RVC are both great. Birthday cake you could look into AI Sports Nutrition. I heard dymatize iso 100 is really good as is Mutant.

Quest is incredibly Thick. Have to agree here... Flavors are pretty good too.
 
I love this place. I got the Cinnamon Graham Cracker Isomorph because someone mentioned it and it was amazing as sludge. I found it a little lacking mixed with Almond milk, but killer in Greek yogurt.

Yeah I would definitely only buy Quest powder for very special occasions. Wayyyyy too expensive to use otherwise, unless you're balling like Rick Ross that is.

Exactly hahah. I just don't understand how they're able to keep their prices so high and still sell their protein when there are so many other quality brands out there for less money. I'm hoping they try to get more competitive with their pricing so I might actually buy a tub haha
 
Folks, I'm all for diversity of opinions, but this thread is about the BEST tasting powder.

Macros, label claims, price, etc. are "almost" irrelevant here.

Shaking my head at some of the suggestions people are posting.
 
I'm a huge fan of BSN's Chocolate whey. So yummy.

This is sort of cheating, but Universal's Torrent Cherry Berry Blast is also amazing. While not strictly protein powder, it has whey isolate in it.

Possibly my top 4 out there.
 
We need a thread for worst protein powders...I used to be a fan of dymatize iso-100, now I can't wait to finish the tub and move on, the nasty bitter aftertaste is killing me...

They have such mainstream brand recognition, and their products do taste amazing without a ton of filler and junk which is how they made their bones, so they can get away with murder pretty much.

I may sound crazy, but bodytech (vitamin shoppe brand) mint chocolate is the best tasting protein I've ever had. Mixes better than anything I've had too. For some reason it mixes better than bodytechs vanilla and chocolate.
 
ANY PES is top notch. Beverly CnC, Oxyelite choc/van/Banana, Cellucor PBM, Protizyme (all flv), Axis labs french toast, lean charms, MTS machine whey is pretty decent as well. I need to try the Key lime pie

I like how you say any Select! So true brother. Have to have multiple flavors on hand just to mix it up here and there.
 
PES White Chocolate Mint (please god do another run of this so I can order more even though I broke the bank once).
Good bro let me try Mutant mint chocolate chip (had chocolate chips in it) and it was amazing.

All time king was protean vanilla mint swirl by Iforce but it's gone now :(

Select Peanut Butter Cup isn't as good as these three, but also really good. Can't weigh in on the snickerdoodle debate because I don't like snickerdoodles (yeah, I know...)
 
1. XF UP 2.0 Cinnamon roll - I don't see this ever moving.
2. PES Choc Peanut Butter Cup (I've literally been through every choc-pb and this is the only one where I love the balance of choc to pb)
3. Syntha 6 Cookie Dough - self explanatory
4. PES Cookies and Cream/ UMP Cookies and cream - Both very different cookies and cream flavours but can't separate.
5. XF LCP - Just beats truteins LCP purely sue to the fat content giving ti that crusty/buttery taste of pastry

However haven't tried any metabolic nutrition or Iforce proteins, and from the reviews they could slot in there.
 
I absolutely hate PES chocolate peanut butter cup and it's on my list of worst flavors I've ever tried. Way too sweet, leaves a terrible aftertaste. I wont try any of their flavors after wasting my money on rhis. It shows you how tastes vary massively between people.

I haven't found a place that hates on PBC lol. Stuff is great.

Literally have handed it to and watched over 100 people enjoy it now, though often in baked goods I of course also give out sample baggies from my stash, or samples I've been given in my orders that they then just tossed into water or milk, and proceeded to ask me where they could buy it lol.

To each their own though, no product is loved unanimously.

Damn. I like PBC a lot...liked snickerdoodle as well although I have to break from it as it is very sweet. I actually like the Vanilla as well as modern protein Vanilla. I guess I'm getting simplistic in my old age.

Not sure if drinking that would be good. The taste and the texture works perfectly in a bar. I'll take this to the flavor thread or I'm going against my own wishes..lol

If they could nail the cake batter base in the powder and add sprinkles that would make for a great tasting whey

Sounds like me recently, I have definitely been using PBC, Vanilla, and White Chocolate Mint the most now.

USP vanilla was stellar, I stocked up when the original run was ceased.
Nothing wring with appreciating a vanilla, maybe it's just refined taste ;)

Do I want to know how many you've eaten since you discovered them not too long ago?

CCCD and CnC are my top 2 off that line
Double Chocolate Chunk, Fudge Brownie and Apple Pie would be the last 3 in my top 5.

Good thing quest went back to their old formula. Taste is much improved same with texture.
 
Double chocolate chunk was great, as was CnC

Did not like the S'mores very much

I tried out a few Quest powders now, I still need to try PB though. From other reviews it looks like the winner off that line
 
PB is good, real dense in flavor. The Chocolate and Vanilla are basic, but still dense in flavor and mix up very thick.
Going to be trying the new CNC Flavor soon, which I have heard is one of their best. See if it can take over beverly for one of the best CNC's out there.
Salted Caramel and Banana are both pretty good. Old USP Labs Banana was still the GOAT of banana protein's.
 
Agreed on USPlabs banana,

But I want to grab SAN banana coconut too

I'm trying to get another run of the WCM as well! Fingers crossed!

PBC tastes my top spot I've probably gone through 10 tubs since the release. :)
 
I'll have a review up later today or tomorrow in my log, but AI Sports Whey, Cinnamon Bun, is absolutely amazing. Honestly, I think it is perfect, easily the best cinnamon based protein powder I have ever had.

It tastes pretty dang close to XF Cinnamon Roll; highest complement I can give.

Only issue is that I don't know enough about AI Sports to feel sure that they meet label claims (even though their marketing says so).

I've never had XF, good to know that I'm not hyping it up though.

In terms of their quality, I have never seen any issues with them and they have been around for a very long time. I would say they are good to go, but I don't have any evidence besides good experiences with them and their products.

LCP and Cinnamon Roll are a must
Both top notch products and flavors.

Fit Crunch PB is a mix between a 100 Grand Bar and a Reese's Fastbreak; no lie.

Carb Killa is similar to a thinner Milky Way.

I eat both of these because they are as good or better than most candy bars.

Fit Crunch PB is very cake like on the inside with a nice chocolate shell with a peanut butter glaze. It is hands down like a candy bar with protein in it. Absolutely Fantastic. You may be able to grab them at your local walmart to try them out.

Carb Killer I had the Caramel Chaos. Has a thick caramel swirl in the middle with little crunchy krispies on top. Tastes like a mixture between a hershey bar and a toffee bar with a thick milky way caramel swirl.

Both are very good.

A change of pace never hurts! the cookie dough fit crunch is pretty good too, as is the cookies and cream
I like the PB best, then CnC, CCCD, then Birthday in that order.
