Best non stim for fat loss

Hey all firstly I know the answer is diet.

Next I’m looking to drop 10-12 lbs. previously I have always used forskolin as sort of my standard cutting supplement. I don’t see much discussion these days, is there a new go to ingredient/supp y’all would recommend

5’11 176lbs, 32yo. Been injured and inconsistent for about a year and a half, I’m sitting probably at 16-20% BF (usually am 10-12% at this bodyweight). So I’m trying to have an effective cut to 165 or so and then hopefully add lean muscle via slow lean ‘bulk’

I also have 3AD and PrimeXT on hand that I may combine one of those into a cutting stack. Thx for all rec’s

Hey man, totally get it. For cutting supplements I like Lean Edge, Cordarine, XPG FL7, XPG Napalm, Reduce XT, and more.

But for you coming off a break I'd approach it different. I would suggest lifting and building for a few weeks first. If you do that you will rebuild muscle, rebuild your metabolism, and probably drop a little bit of fat too just getting back to homeostasis. If you cut first you will lose more muscle and slow your metabolism more.

I would start lifting consistent and throw in like CEL Alpha One. After a month or 2 of that add in the fat burners and watch it melt away.

I agree with @Halfnattyman44 . If it were me I would spend the money on a good pump pre workout, creatine or protein and focus on recomping with consistent diet, fasted cardio and gym for at least two months. If you are just starting back up your muscle memory and increased caloric expenditure will do more for physique than a cutting sup.

If you want to add sups though,
Injectable L-Carnitine
Cordyceps and fasted cardio AM
ECGC
CLA
Forskolin is still good but mild

or peps

I agree with Alpha One, but I also love CEL Lipovantage. At $39.99 I think it’s the best value for a non stim option, and with a full gram of mitoburn plus all the other stuff it’s very hard to beat the value. It’s been awhile since I used Lipovantage but I remember it made me shredded when combined with fasted workouts and low carb diet

Thanks yall. I have been back since January fairly consistently. A little kn and off, prob in July I was able to get back totally 100%. Diet last couple weeks has been very tuned in so my bounce back is in full affect. Some muscle memory restored in strength. Just have more fat on myself then I ever have at this bodyweight

I used to compete in physique and would love to get back to that if my shoulder can stay healthy. 162 was my stage weight 2021

Anyway yeah that is I will look into these. Maybe recomp20 + 3ad

Alpha One was awesome but completely wrecked my stomach

Skip the supps, go straight to Reta. The absolute best thing for fatloss I have ever used
Have seen people raving about this on twitter but have 0 knowledge. I assume it’s a GL-1 / peptide? Sides? Prob no long term data

Not sure if 10lb cut is worth it but it keeps popping up so wouldn’t mind learning more

Lean Edge best non stim fat burner. Alpha One and Recomp 20 also work great. Evomuse DCP when it’s in stock. I’m having a nice little run with Transdermal L Carnitine and Transdermal Alpha Gel.

Best non-stim for fat loss ...."buy these products...."

I'm going to tell you straight up, there are no "new ingredients" to help you fat loss.

I would say order some green tea caps, with at least 45% polyphenols and take 2 preworkout.
I would also say you can try 700-1,200mg or so of L-carnitine l-tartrate preworkout. Some people, research people who don't put things to work in the field will say it doesn't work but it def increases my energy (but on stims preworkout).

Other than that, and this is advice you probably don't want, but maybe someone else wants to know. The best way to drop 10lbs is high intensity AM cardio 5x a week. Sprint a straight away, walk a curve for 15 min (thats all it takes) or get on a Stairmaster and work up to 30-40min 5x a week first thing AM. Also eat low carbs lunch and dinner, or if you cant control carbs very well, eat low carbs at dinner. I'm talking 2 chx breast and broccoli for dinner. Salmon and salad.

Mitoburn, and grains of paradise are my exotic no stim choices.GOP has a little bit of a diuretic effect. I also used recomp 20, thought it had positive effects on body composition. Honorable mention for EGCG and 7oxo (to be fair I haven't used 7 oxo yet, I'm just hearing positive feedback)

I second the high intensity cardio. If you can hold a normal conversation, then it's not cardio!

Bro! I told someone this 2 days ago. I said if you can turn your head and talk, you not doing hard enough cardio (if your goal is to turn up your metabolism).

EGCG is why I mentioned Green tea with a min % of polyphenols (most extract, 20-40% of polyphenols will be EGCG), but yeah standardized for EGCG is good also. One of the best non-stim ingredients that can help with fat loss. Not that taking it will make you drop a lb a week doing nothing but it can "help."

Its hard for 100% non-stim people to have a non-stim stack that works like stim stacks, because caffeine puts fat into the blood (for a limited time), in simple terms.

Lots of guys see massive bodybuilders walking on a treadmill. They think walking is cardio, and it is! If your 92 or obese. I'm a fasted cardio guy as well. At least in the morning, just because that's the only time I'm really fasted. But I can't help but think I see faster changes when I do daily morning fasted cardio. It's a tough habit to keep up.

Also,

Over the years I seem to have lost my ability to handle stimulants outside of caffeine. I use to love yohimbine and various other stims, I could handle clen and ephedrine no problem. Now they all make me feel like a anxiety attack on crack lol, or at least that's what I imagine a cracked out anxiety attack feels like. I have to cap clen at 20-40mcg and even at that dose it bothers me and makes me cramp. Always looking for non stim options, EGCG is always in the mix. I used a lot of SLU last year too, but I can't help but feel like it has a stim effect over time. My resting heart rate slowly rising over weeks or months.

Yeah my go to was Yohimbe + caff + forskolin

Epicat always did my physique wonders too competing as a natty. ECA too but I tolerated yohimbe better and did the job.

Stims are off the table for me for the same reason as well other than some caffeine and occasional 1/2 scoop of pre workout

When you say a lot of SLU how much we talking? Jay Campbell loves the stuff at 300mg-400mg per day. They claim it only has 10 percent oral bioavailability so we talking really only 30mg-40mg.

Retatrutide is a peptide that acts as a triple agonist, targeting GLP 1, GIP and glucagon, so three distinct metabolic pathways compared to single pathway drugs like Ozempic (GLP-1).

There is clinical data from Phase 3 trial TRIUMPH-1 shows extended follow ups running through 80 to 104, people are losing like 28% of their body weight with little training. Combine it with heavy weights and high protein it is a dream.

Sides are standard, like upset stomach getting used to the doses etc, but from what I ahve seen they are pretty rare for anything else to occur... obviously take that with a grain of salt, you need to see what works for you.

It has a bunch of other health benefits too, obviously appetite, it also targets liver fat a bit, improves lipid and blood pressure. It reduces systemic inflammation and increases baseline energy expenditure.

Sorry, bad choice of words, I only went up to 5mg. I did however run it for months on end. Started at 500mcg, stayed on 2mg for a long time and upped it twords the end. With this one, I'm not concerned with the bioavailability just because I got a lot out of it, slow steady results for months. I could stock up and try more, I thought about switching to 915 and raising the dose (more bioavailable) but I would probably keep the run short because it was overtime that I got the issues with feeling wound up and higher heart rate. It's very interesting and promising stuff. Not everyone gets a uptick in RHR like that

I'm gonna get off the SLU topic tho because we're in the supplement section, I don't wanna piss anyone off or violate.

Anecdotally its amazing. Successfully used for a slow 20 lb cut 15%-7/8%. At low dose, (.25-3mg) immediate sides are unrecognizable unless you eat fired food or overdo fiber without enough water. In this case you double a stomach ache or constipation duration. If you eat clean you won't experience it at all. There is also some blunting of emotion and even 'drive' but again barely recognizable and no different from being in a deficit. This contributes to the decrease in addictive behaviors, and dopamine seeking, so frankly it can be considered a positive as well. The nutrient partitioning is the best aspect , then the decreased food noise.

ALSO SORRY TO GO OFF TOPIC stick to sups for now
