Honestly, nobody missed you here much :shoot:

I thought that was the same person....LOL glad to see i am not alone.......

I see more of a "pouch", but really you look great wrangler  Maybe try and bulk some while keeping it as lean as possible (way harder said than done I know) ;) I'm not familiar with lupus at all, so I'm not sure what limitations that may put on this (if any). :)

My pouch is bigger than yours... ;)

You're a character, but I still love ya.. :D

I'm going to go with the manly man in the under armor shirts.

Kywcke, if I want to see a pouch all I need to do is look at myself in the mirror in the morning. Being 245 with 22% b/f isn't bad, but damn if this 5'6" frame doesn't make it look that way. Eh, the price I pay being a powerlifter...

Eh, well...I may hae exaggerated a bit on my part. I'm at about 15% bf....

You can still be a lean PLer! Just drop down to like 10-12%. Low enough to look pretty lean, but high enough where you don't have to diet down and constntly do tons of cardio :D

workin' on it. I'm gonna get as close to the 220 class as I can... so some dieting down will be in order.:D

Hi Wrangler Girl. I don't know what it means but I added to your reputation. I personally feel that pouch look is very attractive on women.

Im just curious though how did you get such ripped abs in that first pic?

Up until about a month ago I ran almost every week, keeping the lean, straving look.....( Long ass story)........

But with lupus i need to be kinder on my whole body so for now running is a thing of the past, and prednosone is a everyday thing....hence the pouch........:(

Maybe one day I will look "nice " again.......I just worked so damn hard and wham one month on that crap and bingo.......a pouch is born.......

Well everyone who has lupus is different, meaning it comes out in different ways.....Mine so far is the lovely face rash and joint damage as well as being very sensitive to light, foods, being tired, and really just cant get out of my own way somedays.........There are days I am so tired I literally sit and cry because it hurts to move, and all i want to do is sleep the day away........My lupus dr told me that by going on prednosone it would "help" but i find it annoying and troubling.......Not only do I have this freaking pouch but i eat all the time, I feel like a house ( mental I know) but still that feeling........and prednosone is "masking" my issues...not solving them.....I do know what my dr wanted to do by having me start prednosone but i am still troubled by it......I havent been able to taper down past 55mg, and its been about a month now......I started at 75mg....I personally know people who are on high dosages for life, or yrs...and I wont be that person........
Even my coaching for the special olympics, all my charity work has had to take a back seat, and the weeks I do feel better, the next week I am on my ass for most of it.......its def draining........
Bulking? Cutting? how the heck would I do that because i actually thought of it myself but never in my life would I ever thought i might bulk.......I always thought, lean ( I used to be a house)............

Wow lupus sounds really bad. How long have you had it? Hopefully it goes into remission.

I wouldn't go so far as to bulk up. I think the healthier way is to gain lean body mass while dropping bodyfat at the same time. If you eat right, and get your protein. Lift weights moderately, and do moderate cardio, it can be done. Sometimes less is more.

At her body weight and bf% with good conditioning it'd be near impossible to gain lean mass and lose fat at the same time. Not that she seems to have any to lose which is the problem witht hat approach for skinny people. A super clean diet above maintainance will pack on some mass for her.

I am trying to eat damn near perfect, and it stinks.......i do have a pouch, and I know its water from the prednosone...nothing can get rid of that till I am off it and who knows when the heck that will be if ever........

warrior way, I was diagnosed last yr with lupus.........so I have only known for a few months I had it, and now i am trying to learn how to deal with it........

My mother-in-law has Lupus also. She has been on prednosone for years and when her insurance changed, they made her change doctors, to one that is not a Rhumetologist (sp) which her old doc was. The new one wanted to wean her of the prednosone and lowered her dosage. She ended up in the hospital and called her old doc who raised her dosage back up. After being on prednosone for so long, he said you can't even be weaned off. Prednosone is a steroid and I guess when your body is shut down for so long, it will never recover to where you can get along without the prednosone.

Which is why i stopped taking it, i weaned it down the last 2 weeks by 10 a day, HUGE risk I know and god am I paying for it ( side effects) but i refuse to be dependant on anything at 31........it isent going to happen.......As you can tell i am very, very, very stuborn........:)

I'm with you WG. I am now on something that has an immense amount of side effects, but my condition actually worsens when I get off. I have decided though to srew it, and deal with it the best way I can. I.m also a stuborn bastard.Invalid Link RemovedInvalid Link Removed

You look good, stand up a little straighter with your shoulders back. I think
you look great, be confidant!

I did not know what lupus was so I looked it up. I just saw that
one of the affects is joint pain.

If you have joint pain, you could try Cissus (check out the synergy
muscle thread). I have been using it a couple weeeks and it has made
my chronic arm injury pain disappear completely. You can buy straight
cissus from Synergy Muscle. Taking cAMPHIBOLIC would probably be
bad due to hormone effects--I think not sure.

thanks will try it....anything to lesson the pain these days......thinking of actually just moving and starting fresh, i used to live In NY ( long island) best friend is still there and is always asking me to come back...maybe i need a whole change......and they have great drs out there as well, hmmmmmmmm??? something to ponder....

I like women with curves. I'm not a big fan of the whole runway look. I like women with athletic looking bodies. Keep the bubble butt! It looks good.;)

I'm not a big fan of NY. I'm a born and raised Floridian:drunk:

I love great abs on women, but I think you really do look best in the last pic. Don't worry!

And FLA rules!

Deodues - nice av bro! Morgan is da man. You know where he went to high school, huh?

I guess I should jump in for Cali...but, to tell you the truth I'll probably move the hell outta here ASAP. :D Probably hit the outskirts of Vegas and go train w/ Cutler ;)

As for food I dont need good food I need my lips stapled shut, so my bubble butt will shrink.......

Come on now, that is not a bubble butt. I've seen bubble butts, and that is not one of them.

I saw a bubble butt today at work; her pants were WAAAAAAY too tight. Had a problem walking. I think her ass outweighed WG's entire body.
It was more than a bubble butt, it was like a "hot-air-balloon" butt

Now that is a nice ass. Relax on the looks obsession. Health of the mind and body come first, looks tend to flow from that naturally.

I'm on Long Island, babe. If you don't mind the ridiculous cost of living and the snotty people, it's a great place to be.

In all honesty living on an island, even a big one, has an effect on you. I'm not a beach goer, but I couldn't live away from a large body of water for any length of time. I tried once in Tennessee and I almost flipped out not being able to see the water on the horizon. Felt like there was no anchor or point of reference. Weird, but true.

Geez... your being too hard on yourself WG. You have a better body than 90 percent of women that have no health problems whatsoever.
