The general rule is if you're going longer than 4 hours without food, BCAA's would be a good option to add in. As far as drinking them all day goes, that'd be a waste of your money. Layne Norton has tons of great studies and articles online about this subject. Do some google searches for his research and you'll find some great info.

If BCAA's are 6 calories per gram how come 0 amino products list calories?

Interesting. I always figured they contained some calories just wondering why they aren't listed as actual calories on a label.
Thoughts on this subject? I see a lot of builders doing this with their daily water intake.
