I like the quick interview after one of his games when he was asked about using AAS's. Barry slightly lifted his shirt and said something like...I haven't used steroids, I don't have any abs. By his statement, I guess anyone using steroids is going to have a washboard stomach. :blink:
 
One thing that made me want to vomit/kick in my TV was hearing that the guy who is 2nd im command for the player's union thinks the current steroid plan is working because and I quote "Look at the size of the players now, they're not as big..."

HOLY **** I guess if you take steroids you have to gain insane amounts of weight and look like the Hulk! I think one of the biggest problem w/ steroids and baseball is the fact that no one (or not many people) who use, enforce or criticize the use of steroids know what the hell they are talking about. People who enforce the rules are just a bunch of suits who don't have an inkling of knowledge on the subject and therefor make the problem worse by not addressing it correctly.

How does this sound. Vince McMahon (sp?) should make an XLB where you can juice alllll you want and have crazy rules like indian rubber and tackling. Then no one can complain when players are caught juicing?

There are a lot of reporters saying "Look at the players this season, they are a lot smaller." Just goes to show the ignorance the general public has about steroids.

I know what you mean man. those are the same people who say steroids killed Lyle Alzado and the ones who claim Jason Giambi got a tumor cause of steroids. It's like who the hell made them MD's and cancer researchers to be saying those are the facts :icon_lol:
 
STOP HATIN ON BARRY BONDS!!!! wanna hear a funny statistic about him: From 1990-1999 he hit only two home-runs over 450 feet, since then 2000-2004, he's hit twenty-six!!!!! Talk about craziness.... 450 is a fucking bomb

dude u know for sure Big Barry was juicing it.....Look at the size of his Dome...**** looks like a Hellium balloon...Barry is buster..it still takes mad hand and eye cordnation to hit the ball...but still dude is sorry. Even better baseball sucks all togethor I'd rather watch under water basket weaving.
 
Also he's 40 years old, playing in a 162 game season. He's clearly not a genetic freak (physically), he is a lead off hitter by nature with good mechanics for his power. Earlier in his career, he resembled Alfonso Soriano (of today). He bulked up, and you know the rest....

The general public are just ill informed and don't have much knowledge about physiology, substances that aid in physique transformation and sport performances.
You would be surprise how many members at my gym think that only big muscular people are steroid users. It is hard for them to fathom that a "Brad Pitt" type physique or a "Vin Disel" physique could be a steriod user. Not saying that those two aforementioned actors are steriod users(have to post a disclaimer before I get banned or sued).

I can't understand why the general public and the media view certain sports enhancing agents as cheating and immoral and not others. Ok Whey isolate and creatine both aid in nitrogen retention, increase muscle production and increase in the size of fast twitch muscles(those responsible for power moves in sports). Even corticosteriods aid in performance on the field as well. Imagine if Hank Aaron, Bart Starr, Wilt Chamberlain could have the cortisone injection that many of todays athletes have available. Imagine if many of the pitchers of the past could have the "blood spinning" technique of today. Do you not think that records would have been even more impressive.

How about certain teams that are more profitable that can afford better equipped weight training facilities than lower profit teams or those that can afford the best sports trainers and "Specialist" in sports medicine? Are they cheating?

All drugs are rampant in hollywood, to think otherwise is just ignorant. I would say that most actors today have used or continue to. Whether it's GH IGF or reg roids. Image is money and it's harder to be a successful fatass in the acting business these days.
