I only tried it because Punja did a curl video and I've never in my life tried a max attempt in curls.
Besides weight really doesn't matter it's all about progress . We all have limits and lifts we excel at . I can't bench for crap but I can crush arms and shoulders for big numbers related to my size and weight.
I agree to that, I can kill it in bench & deads, but arms along with squats am weak in.
Man I can't stand that ****, I went to the gym couple years ago and walked into the sauna. This big old dude butt naked rubbing what looked like crisco on himself. I thought I was going to have nightmares for life. I usually get in the gym and tell all the friends a quick what's up then it's go time!!
I kinda pulled the ARNOLD on my legs like he did with his calves. They were always weak until I had a buddy push me past my breaking point on the legs press and the rest was history. I never have tried to do a mx curl come to think of it hmmmmm ?
The sauna at my gym gets really creepy. theres a whole crew of guys that spend hours in and out of there, i mean laying on the floor naked in front of the sauna and everything, they even shave naked its wierd.
Its good to have a good buddy to work with! I fly solo since my gym setup is at my house, but I give it all I got each run that for sure. One day I'll try for a max curl![]()

Def man Im with you there. I hit 350lbs for 2 reps at 170lbs protein and creatine only and 225 for 12 reps 3 sets bench. I got married and gain weight and **** went to hell, but I'm giving it hell back to get back to where i was. Only now I don't mess with flat bench bc of my shoulder surgery in jan. But I'm hitting 200 on incline bench for 8 reps and 70lbs db's on bench. My goal is to drop down to 185 to 190 I'm down to 233 from 290 over 18 months ago!!
