Megadosing Cissus (50%)...as in 5-10grams per day...does wonders for all my joints...and 'snap, crackle, pop' live inside mine...
Need some opinions, looking for something to assist in joint pain.
Haveing quite a bit of pain in the hips ( athritis ).
Currently useing the standard joint support ( G & C ) but still looking for something else.
Would cissus be good for this or what would some of you recommned?
I have tried many things, but still in the morning its sounds like rice cripsies ( snap, crackle, pop) from the old ankles, and my hips just ache( POOR ME )
Currently useing Bioflex, fish oil, was useing the Orange Triad, just wanted to try something different.
I'll have to check into the Essentials + joint complex!!!!!!
What about shark catilage????
so cissus is a yes or no????

Cissus is good for tendon issues, but won't help cartilege or arthritis, though it might help the pain associated with arthritis.
High dose cissus can actually make joints hurt, just like some anti-cort supps, as cissus has anti-cortisol effects.
Go with SuperCissus RX; it is one of the best supplements out there for helping with joints. It reduces pain AND repairs the joint. Here is a review thread:

I have seen up to 70% on some price lists- I wouldn't trust it tho- at least not without a good standard to test up against...same here, have not seen the 50%, i thought most was 5%
thank you sir!!Use the Osteo-Sport from Applied. Great stuff!
with all the suggestions, you can become more confused as what to take. At this point, you might have to play russian roulette, and take a shot at which ever you choose and hope you score. I have the snap crackle and pop in my elbows and knees as well (all that para jumping), and have yet to find something that helps. I was considering cissus, but now I leaning towards either animal flex, and that osteo sport thinggy. I might just get them both. So, samples guys hint hint. Ultimately you should expect to spend more than you planned trying to find something that works. Who knows, you might score on the first purchase. Good luck, sorry about your pain. I will let you all know what I eventually went with , and how it worked. Sorry for the long wind.....oops.
Have you tried Animal Flex?
What makes Animal Flex different from other joint supplements:
Most joint supplements have the regular glucosamine/chondroitin/msm. These are effective joint supporting nutrients. Animal Flex contains these nutrients in adequate doses however it does not stop there and here is where the differences are:
Animal Flex, like other Animal supplements, is complete and comprehensive. Each pack of Animal Flex consists of several key protective complexes: (1) a potent joint construction complex to help repair connective tissue; (2) a lubrication compound to help cushion the joints from lifting; (3) a support complex to help promote rehabilitation and reduce soreness; and (4) an essential vitamin/mineral blend to underscore optimal joint health.
Animal Flex has some patented ingredients that you won’t find in other joint supplements such as CMO:
WHAT IS CETYLMYRISTOLEATE ?
Cetyl Myristoleate is an all-natural medium chain fatty acid found in only a small number of very select species of animals. Clinical experience suggests that Cetyl Myristoleate acts as an anti-inflammatory, as well as a surfactant and lubricant for damaged joints. Basically, it makes them more "slippery." This substance holds the promise of being the most effective solution to joint problems of any product ever introduced into the market. It is not habit-forming and contains no harsh chemicals or drugs that can cause side effects. It works in a natural manner by acting at the site of inflammation, is highly resistant to oxidation, it has a relatively long life in the body.
Bromelain is another ingredient that you don’t find in other joint supplements. Bromelain is useful in the treatment of a wide range of conditions, but it is particularly effective in relieving inflammation associated with infection and physical injuries.
These are just a couple of ingredients that make Animal Flex stand out.

How much glucosamine msm chrondrine and Cetyl Myristoleate does it contain? I mean individual doses?
Cissus won't help much. Essentials, OsteoSport, fish oil, and Curcumin are good options.
That's biased... Cissus is great, and getting 100grams at Nutra is definitely worth a try for $10, before spending big $ for your new essentials....
