Article: The New Rules of Strength Training

president of faildid you really just say people should stop benching, deadlifting, and squatting?

I think what he was trying to say is that for all that people complain about military press behind the neck and other assorted exercises for their "unsafeness" that there isn't any exercise that performed too heavy or with bad form isn't unsafe.

Read the article at the end. He didnt, it was a spoof of sorts. I read a few of the items and cried bull****. But instead of not reading, I scrolled to the bottom and saw the REAL position on these and the point of the article.

Nah dude, read the whole article (well, you can skip most of it until the last few paragraphs and the bullet point list). He was trolling up top, and towards the end he reveals the point of it all which is what many at AM preach, too.

It was a joke, skip to the end.

TLDR: He's saying that of course everything is dangerous if you don't do it properly, just don't be a retard when you lift. If we took all risk out of it then there wouldn't be any exercises left.

The sarcasm/misinformation got so bad midway through the read, I had to jump to the bullets at the end just to make sure the writer hadn't lost his mind. Some of it was funny.

I just wasted 10 minutes of my life...
