I love betaine as well; however, I am on a 750 calorie deficit (and have cut before I'm not a newbie) and I literally cannot lose weight or see fat loss when I take betaine. It's as if my body just holds on to everything I eat. When I stop supplementing my weight drops and I feel leaner. I'm a science buff, and it sounds like nothing but great news, but it makes me feel weird, sadly.
