Training experience (as much detail as possible.. TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF ! ! WHY should we choose you ! !):
Well I am the kind of person that loves the gym... it's really an escape for me to go there everyday and for two hours think about nothing but improving myself. However I am the kind of person that has yet to make fitness and nutrition a lifestyle. I have working out now for 10 years on and off... and that number holds importance to me because in ten years I still have yet to achieve the physique I want.

Started working out when I was 17 and I could barely bench 115 once... thats when I realized it was time to start kicking some ass. Spent a lot of time in the gym and tooooo much time running and turned in to the 6ft 160 lb no muscle kid... Fast forward 2 years and i gained muscle by hard training... joined the Marines and lost pretty much all my muscle in boot camp and got lean as hell again... vicious cycle!

2005 I dropped almost all cardio and focused on a MAX OT workout and jumped on some prohormones like a dofus! But got to 215 with 12% bodyfat... that is my goal to beat now.

I go through these flows where I work out for a month hard and make progress and then get sick and take a week off which turns in to months. Or when I am at school and work full time I miss workouts and then get discourages. Well that seems to have changed... I am more dedicated now than I have been since 2004-2005. I have now been back to the gym kicking ass 5+ days a week for the last 10 weeks and I am loving it! In the past 5 years or so I mostly focused on 3 day workout weeks when I was working out... now I can't believe I strayed away from 5 days a week to start with.

It was difficult for me at first because in years past and if I wanted to now... I can lose weight like crazy. I've had times where I've lost 6 lbs in one week and another 6 lbs the next week. But every time I do that I just get lean. This time around I am eating pretty healthy and a lot closer to my calorie needs (around 2500-3000) and I feel like its a whole different kind of leaning up.

Right now as of this morning I am sitting at 218 lbs and according to the mirror my stomach looks about as lean as I normally am at 205ish lbs but my upper body seems to be fuller. In the past 9 weeks I've only lost 8-10 lbs which is not a hard task for me and seems like nothing but I have lost over 2 inches on my widest point (love handle to love handle)... which could actually be more because my widest point didnt budge the first like 7 weeks which I am attributing to weighted ab workouts because I think the mid section is getting thicker while losing fat. I've also put on a half inch or more on my arms and I haven't checked the rest of my measurements

Overall even though it was difficult to break the habit of just following the numbers on the scale and being discourage at the weight hardly moving... I think I am on the right track especially noticing now that I am approaching levels of lean-ness sitting at about 10+lbs heavier than normal.





Current Training Schedule / Protocol (as much detail as possible):
13 weeks of training planned ahead. 5 days a week:

Week 1: 2-3 sets of slow contracted reps of 20
Week 2-4: 3-4 sets of 12-15 reps
Week 5-8: 4-5 sets of 6-10 reps
Weeks 9-11: 5 sets of 5-6 reps
Week 12: 3-4 sets of 12-15
Week 13: 2-3 sets of 20-25 reps

Its basically a modified version of Scivation's pre showtime diet and workout... modified to fit the amount of time i have before my vacation.

I also do heavy weighted core work on Tuesday, a core class on Thursday, and heavy weighted work with a yoga/pilates after on saturday.

PS - I hate to admit that last weekend was my first yoga class with me gf... and I fxckin loved it. And my abs haven't been sore in awhile and they definitely were sunday.

I've also fell in love with stretching lately with is something I usually hate

Cardio Schedule/Protocol (as much detail as possible):

For cardio I do HIIT usually. I havent done much cardio the last two weeks but its almost time to add it in again. I usually do it on the eliptical and will do 5 min warmup, 4-9 minutes of 30 sec jog/30 sec sprint, and then 5 minutes of cool down

Current Diet and macros (as much detail as possible):
I am currently utilizing the Lean Gains / Intermittent Fasting protocol. On heavy days I take in 2800-3000 calories 45g carb, 40g protein, and 15g fat... every other day I try to keep the carb count down a bit and go for 2200-2400 calories... its been a great recomp for me

Current Daily water intake:

1-2 gallons

Short Term Goal:

1) Make it to 12 weeks of consistent working out (2 weeks away)
2) Be in damn good shape for my vacation (13 weeks away)

Long Term Goal:

I need to make fitness a priority for me... I feel so good right now with even being half way to my goal... when I gain weight I dont notice at first but when it hits me.. it hits me... and i look in the mirror and feel sick. I don't want to look good for anyone else but myself... And I want that elusive six pack I've been wondering if I have the capability for... for the last 10 years (even tho I have never focused on it till recently)

the awesome thing about AppNut is all of our stuff is located in NC. dont have the HQs in NC then the products are made and shipped from Florida or something like that. Dirk sees and knows exactly what gets put into each capsule.
 
I wasn't 21 when The One came out, so wasn't really paying attention to it... was it wet? What were the main sides?
