I think this is going to to get me banned:
Is there any chance that this will be a repeat of the JW incident?![]()
I have been following all the logs, and as some of you know I watched my son do 1 month of Prime with some pretty spectacular results.
There is a caveat however, my son and many others experience a significant amount of fatigue, and strain which I have attributed to overtraining. Two things to watch out for are increased volume or frequency of exercise and increased intensity. Now some increase in these fields will probably be manageable but with the strength and endurance increases experienced when on prime it seems very difficult to not overdo it.
There has been a log or two where less burn out was experienced when a plan was used, and adhered to. So as long as you gradually increase your intensity without going overboard you should be good for a long run. The trick is to make a plan and stick to it despite the urges you get to do more. Most of us know how much we can take before fatigue sets in and how much stress we can add. I plan on slowly increasing the amount I lift, without significantly increasing volume so I can last without burn out.
what was the JW incident? Why would it get you banned? Maybe I am clueless?
JW contained a steroid derivative, J.
Recommend a combo of Focus Dirt, Rhodiola, Ashwagandha etc. to help recover the CNS.

I kid.
But consider this: there are compounds in soya bean that mimic the effects of estrogen. So there could be plant compounds out that mimic testosterone as well. If you guys have hit the Holy Grail and actually found a 'natural testosterone' compound, continuously taking it could lead to the body decreasing its own test production (from some feedback loop mechanism). I have ordered a bottle of Prime, but I have not been using it regularly. For a while, just 1 pill would make me go crazy with energy. It makes me feel 'stimmed', but not in the 'over-caffeinated' sort of way. I am have a really sensitive nervous system.
I can see how a person would overtrain while on Prime. I think I did read somewhere that overtraining can result in a decrease in testosterone, too.
Some of the stuff being said about this product sounds absolutely ridiculous. The positive and the negative. All the haters are making me want to try this even more to see for myself, and all the people that love it are making me want to go to GNC right now and over pay for it just so I can start it sooner. But I think the haters have sold me on running Prime. And Im not much of a supplement kind of guy.
were not haters were just speaking the truth
Exactly! Arj is merely an individual who has used the product, and is speaking from experience; correct?
Essay,
Man, I have to say I am feeling the same exact thing. Check my log. The strange thing is this though, I wake up with major wood. I mean if one is starting to shut down they would start to see a reduction in that area also but I'm not, just a lack of interest for snatch, but I sure have made some stupid gains. I mean rediculous really for a guy who has been lifting since the early 90s.
In respects to both your concerns, let me share a known element of PRIME: It does not cause endogenous suppression of Testosterone by either primary or secondary means.
Now, this is not to devalue any opinion expressed within this thread - as they may be anecdotally valid - but merely to state other factors may be at play. For example, Fabulous One, I have seen you comment in other threads about the sheer increase in the both total weight and volume of your regiment since beginning PRIME; such increases in both Volume and Intensity do not come 'free of charge', so to speak: While the the skeletal-muscle system can handle constant adaptation, the Central Nervous System cannot. Overtraining can easily produce incremental increases in Cortisol, thereby affecting the Testosterone:Estradiol ratio - indirectly decreasing TT serum levels.
I would venture a guess that both of you have increased weight and/or volume since beginning PRIME, and have most likely not increased rest time and/or calories; not even steroids can repair the CNS.
PRIME keeps you in the gym so you have to be aware and almost force yourself to go home. The CNS cannot keep up with the muscular endurance.
I should develope a CNS cocktail specific for PRIME.
Mullet,
You may be spot on the money, but like Essay what I am feeling is real. I'll be looking at all aspects over the next month. the gains are very much worth what I am experiencing for sure.
Yeah man my squat numbers have increased around 40lbs or so for my work sets and my pressing exercises have both jumped around 20lbs for working sets.
Don't let what I am saying deter anyone from trying Prime, because in my eyes I think its the bomb for sure. Its just sort of like I'd rather lift than screw right now!
I don't think its shutdown though as I got good wood, I just want to save my semen hahaha!
Ok, fair enough, then the people that took it and didnt notice anything make me want to try it for myself.were not haters were just speaking the truth

I was only kidding; that particular individual has never actually used the product. Suffice to say, it is strange how he is so affirmed in his position!
