True. Thiago is 5'9", correct? I believe Georges is closer to 5'11". If GSP added 6-7lbs lean mass between now and UFC 94, he will be pretty large. I am really interested to see how the strength advantage, or lack thereof, will play out between these two. Most of what I have read from fighters that have trained with both, though, points to GSP being freakishly strong, and probably able to overpower Thiago.
Did you see that GSP brought a few Thai Boxers from France in preparation? (Or went there, ICR.) It will be interesting to see how his MT defense/offense matches up with Thiago's, if he was learning the Dutch or French-style MT.
GSP trains more diversely than any other fighter out there. The Brazilian style of Muay Thai is much different than other countries forms. They tend to be more aggressive (e.g. Wand, Shogun), but leave lots of openings for western-style Boxers.
