Alcohol & Liver Tabs on Cycle/PCT

I know alcohol is a big no-no while on cycle. What about during PCT if you do not use a SERM and/or don't use an AI? Then is it OK to have alcohol during PCT?

What about liver tabs? They have quite a bit if iron in them if you are downing 15-25 in a day and that is stressful on your liver.

Is it correct to assume that it's a good idea to avoid liver tabs whenever you're abstaining from alcohol to help protect your liver? Or are they OK to use on cycle and with a SERM/AI?

Speaking of alcohol, what do you tell your friends when you suddenly stop drinking for eight weeks? I'm a reputed social drinker; I'm going to need an alibi for why I've suddenly stopped. :D

This is going to be my first cycle so I'm still figuring it all out.

in my opinion it wouldnt put to much stress on your liver to drink during PCT, but remember your liver is recovering so maybe you want to give it a little break. Plus PCT is when you want to be SPOT ON with your training to keep your gains, the liver should be fine but do you really want to jeopardize your gains. As far as the alibi thing goes just say your giving your liver a break

I was wondering about this too...

I stopped drinking about two months to go in preparation and during my cycle, I'll be starting PCT soon (Clomiphene) and am just wondering when it's OK to have a drink - even just a glass or two of wine?

I understand what TheRoman is saying about needing to be solid, I have a large family dinner coming up though and want to know if I should pass on drinking all together, or if the Clom + alcohol will be OK?

Thanks guys!

You can drink whenever you want, you're responsible for your body. But drinking on cycle is plain stupid. Ok a few brews whatever, but drinking to the point of drunkenness is damn stupid and horrible for gains.

In PCT your body can handle the liver load a bit better but alcohol is still realy bad for your gains, in a time when you are working your ass off to keep gains, there's no room for alcohol.

Its easy to have an excuse for not drinking, people should already be flipped our by your diet. When people see what my diet is they aren't surprised at all that I don't drink. But if people expect me to drink usually i tell them i'm working really hard to cut bodyfat and there's 0 room for slack in my diet.

Yeah, I know that drinking is not an option during cycle, however was just looking for a little further confirmation during PCT.

Thanks for the input man.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. not another one of these posts lol. PCT is still considered on cycle. and there should be no drinking on cycle.

A drink or two at a family dinner isn't going to kill you. If you go to parties just nurse the same beer all night. You can tell your friends your doctor told you to stop drinking for a while... Something about you liver enzymes being elevated. However, you should ask yourself why you're using steroids if you're not 100% committed to your training/diet/rest, which alcohol is horrible for.

Yeah, yeah... Though in all honesty, if you do searches involving alcohol and serm's/PCT you don't see many posts info on it.

Once again, I'm not talking about getting wasted, I just want to make sure I can have a drink or two at a family get together and not worry about damaging my liver.

Moderation...
