Aeternitatis - Hacked Arcade Scores.

Alright granted this might not be big deal to some... but it pisses me off.

This guy all of a sudden has become the champion of 6 of the Cherished Arcade games.

It's impossible... i've been working on the damn seal bounce game almost everyday for an hour or 2 at work (yes I should probably be working). And after a few weeks of effort I actually made it on to the 3rd page of high scores in my attempts to over throw DiamondDave.

there is no way that this guy, has bested everybody in all those games in just a few short days..

On top of that if you look at the time that elapsed, it's obviously impossible to generate such a score.

Aeternitatis is a bum... and I think he should rott in hell.. but if that's not possible.. can we just delete his high scores?

Weird... and if you notice, the times it took him to set the scores are all very low. Ah yea I think I have an idea of how he is doing it.... definitely not "fair"

Are you guys suggesting that Aeternitatis used ANABOLIC STEROIDS to set these records? You guys bag the evidence, I'll get Senator McCain on the phone PRONTO! :lol:

I noticed that too, I was wondering how all of the sudden he was the champion of all those games....must have been taking a killer nootropic stack lol :D

Nah...he was just using Barry Bonds' line of Flax Seed Oil for his arthritis. ;)

Go set new high scores.
 
Ok, I don't get it.. it says that my play time is 0, but I've played multiple games of seal toss, snake, and one game of pacman. Why is it not recording anything for me?

Does a pop-up blocker have anything to do with it? (I have google toolbar installed which among other things, is a pop-up blocker)
 
Ok, seriously, what's up with this? I play the game, it ends, it says "transmiting data" and that's the end of it. No time played still in my "statistics", and no high scores posted. :(

Could easily be it. Its works fine for me.

Turned it off, played a game of asteroids (nobody has played it) and at the end "transmitting data"... nothing. :( no score, my statistics still say 0 games/time played. :(

EDIT- so I load up Mozilla Firefox and play it in that - lo and behold.. it works :P
 
You have to love IE.


I use Firefox myself.
