Acceptable body fat percentage after a bulk

Just wondering what is an acceptable body fat after a bulk in everybody's opinion. I am in the middl of a bulk right now i will be done in march. My body fat is at 20 percent now at 220 lbs.

IMO, id say around MAYBE 23%. i think 20% is a bit high as it is so any higher would be too much for me. but maybe for you it looks decent. i just try to stay between 8 - 10% then bulk to about 15%

That depends on the individual and where they feel comfortable re body composition. Some people won't gain a lot of bodyfat and others will not care how much they gain. It's not good for your body to go from one excess to another though, and the less bodyfat gained from your initial starting body composition, IMO, is the best way to be re bulking.

However, as a male, 20% bodyfat is getting too high. I'd say stay about average male body composition (~15% bodyfat) for bulking as a guideline, but again, that's really your decision.

exactly, whatever you feel like, or what looks good to you, but I wouldn't go over 15-16% and thats what most people here say

I know how you feel - I don't like to go above 10% myself, even though sometimes, when I have time off, I can creep up to 11-13% (never again, though - those days are gone)!

Exactly, im around 11 right now and I am bulking, but trying slowly so I dont add fat, especially with spring and summer coming eventually

Well sounds like I'm going to busy this spring cutting lol. I think 15 would be good. But 8 per is gonna take a lot of tweaking.

I agree with Rosie here. 20 is too high. That is a fist full of love handle there. 15% is about as high as I want to be during a bulk. 10-12% is what I want to be during a cut but I don't compete yet. 15 for me personally is a six pack AND some little love handles, which I could care less about because its winter. I work my abs often though so I may be an oddity in that, but I would definitely try as hard as possible to stay around 15 because if you go much higher than that you will lose all the gains during a cut.

I'd say 15%...I wouldn't try to lose the fat you have now until your bulk is over, but next time limit it to 15% IMO.
