A NutraPro presale?

For what it's worth, I've tried them both - ATW and NutraPro and even though the profile might look the same, the taste, mixability, etc. is NOT! Try it for yourself...you'll see how much better NP is. I have no incentive to lie BTW

LIAR! We all know about the big conspiracy cover up of ATW and that rottie76 is getting a kickback per lb sold of NP.

/JK....Thanks Custom for clearing that up even though I never really doubted that they were not the same product.

It's a nice story to tell since they have already planned to remove ATW products and replace with their own brand soon which is obviously manufactured by ATW. just watch.
Awesome theory... not really. ATW will not even respond to 99% of emails that ALL customers are sending in, especially the ones that actually already PURCHASED items. Yeah, what does that say about that company? Nutra is one company that does not need to stoop to underhanded ventures; they’re the only company that is 100% customer feedback oriented. They listen to what the consumers want, and then give them 1000x more. I’ve been buying from them since early 2006 and I have yet to have a bad purchase (time of delivery, price of product bought, customer service).

Let me know if you ever hear anything...we're waiting on our 2 month order as well...

im not going to lie,atw had a great tasting protein(cinnabun and cupcake)but im done with them after waiting forever for some protein and complained enough to get my refund.

im sure nutraplanet protein will taste really good and from a more reliable source atleast to me :tongue2:

hope that you guys will comeout with some future flavors too :fing02:

I am the one responsible for the R&D to bring this product to the market.

I spoke with over 40 different suppliers, co-ops and actual dairy farms. From corporate conglomerates like Hormel Foods to smaller vendors selling 1000 pounds at a time.

In no way, shape, or form is it affiliated with ATW.

It has a similar nutritional profile to ATW, because inevitably, our customers always come back with comparisons to ATW because they actually have a very high protein percentage per serving compared to other brands, and we move a ton of it. Our customers know that product; it is their reference standard.

In building a superior protein, we wanted to at least match their protein content. We did that, as well as killed the flavor and mixability. I will challenge anyone to try these side by side and tell me they are the same.

Thanks for you informative and professional reply.

I understand the standard of customer service at NP and it's no where close to ATW even during good times but the pricing is worth risking the trouble, $200 for 50lbs choc whey blend. Until recently it got horrible that it was impossible to purchase from them.

Holy sh*t! My NutraPro just arrived; downed a serving and all I can say is: WOW!
It's a solid 10 all across the board. It mixes better than any other protein, it taste amazing (almost exactly like Syntha-6 chocolate), and the ingredient profile is outstanding. Great job, Nutra! Also, you don't even need a shaker; it mixes readily with a spoon within seconds. No clumps at all!

And the labels are slick!

Excellent!!! Happy to hear that it got there and it has lived up to your expectations

I just thought it was odd that every single nutrition fact is identical to the ATW label. I've never seen that before.

Not completely exact, but sure close enough to make you wonder.....

NutraPro is DEFINITELY NOT manufactured by ATW and has no ties to ATW whatsoever....that would just be nuts, considering the quality control issues and overall service as of lately.

Who said we are removing ATW from our line-up? Again, we've been waiting almost two months for our last two orders (large orders at that!). Though, I finally received confirmation that they are both shipping out to us next week....

Geeze, this isn't Unsolved Mysteries fellas!

Oh yeah, that reminds me...I'll get your bribe money in the mail today! Thanks for supporting our excellent conspiracy...I think we have them all fooled!

Edit: Oh snap, did I just post this publicly? I thought this was a PM. ;)

Why am I looking at Scivation's whey? I understand there are a lot of similar whey's out there. I was just astounded when I saw ATW label = NP label.

but again, I don't think you guys are related. I've bought ATW a lot in the past and when I saw the NP label, I was just like hmm this looks awfully familiar. I understand my comment could be seen as trying to spark some controversy but really I was just pointing out an oddity.

No worries, I am not calling you out. You just said that you had never seen similar profiles before and therefore were concluding that ours had to be related to ATW's brand. Just helping paint a more clear picture that there are many similar proteins and products for that matter on the market that are not related whatsoever.

Sam,

Thanks for the review.

We took so long in coming out with this in order to ensure we had a top notch product. We're already looking at adding additional flavors to the line-up. As with the first run, we'll be sure the flavors are top notch, but we should have a few new ones within the next run or two.

How is the first run going, did you sell out, worse/better then you guys expected?

Quinc,

I haven't looked at the numbers today, but I've been in the warehouse a few times and have seen a good amount of it going out in orders.

Just picked up 2 tubs of the Frosty Chocolate .. Cant wait try this : )
It's damn good, trust me. It has a smooth taste, almost exactly like Syntha-6, but without the weird chemical after-taste. You will not be dissatisfied with NutraPro, I am sure.

I wish I had ordered all of them, but running out of storage space. :silly: Thanks Nutra for the nice samples!! :fing02: Christmas in April, who would have thought...

the frosty chocolate nutrapro is really good.

at first i was mad that ATW isolate was gone but this is a good enough replacement for sure!

NP sent me a tub of Strawberry to try. Strawberry is a tough flavor in general and I don't think they are any better or worse than strawberrys I have tasted with the exception of Myofusion which IMHO is of better taste. As far as mixibility, I would say they are right on par with companies like ON, Dymatize, etc.. Not better, not worse. Overall its a solid product from what I can tell. I would not rush to buy it unless its price point was cheaper than my standard dymatize which at this point it isn't. I will surely pick it up if it goes on sale or when they offer some more exotic flavor options. You def can't go wrong with it, but as I said, it will go into my proteins that I check the price on before I order something else. Price would ultimately determine my choosing NP's protein or the combonation of them running a great sale on another product which they usual do.

Received my protein this morning, like waking up on Christmas! here is my Strawberry review;

NutraPro Strawberry = WIN

I've been using various protein powders over the last 10 years, and strawberry has always been a flavor I've tried to avoid. 2 scoops NutraPro, 1 cup of water, 2 teaspoons of MCT oil; let it blend for 1-2 minutes and its like a strawberry milkshake from Carl's Jr. Of course its not as thick but the the smooth strawberry taste is just as amazing.

Also make sure you go to the NP sub forum and vote for chocolate Graham Cracker. :D

The chocolate tastes great! I haven't opened my strawberry yet. Also, thanks for loading me up with samples again.

Glad to hear you are happy with Nutrapro. Not surprisingly, that seems to be a general consensus

Still waiting to here back on the scooper ordeal. I finally found a scooper in one of the jugs and its labeled 70cc

Back when I ordered with ATW, I got a scooper from them that was 60cc (that I still have and been using with NutraPro). Reason being because ATW blend and NutraPro have a very simliar nutritional profile and I couldnt find the scooper in my first bottle of NutraPro.

So with that said, when ATW would send me a different scooper every order, I questioned on each and every one and they said the 60cc is what fit the nutritional profile per scoop.

So, does a 60cc scoop, or 70cc scoop contain the nutritional value of 1serving of NutraPro?!?!?!?

I know atj is looking into this per his previous comments, however, my assumption is that the one you received with your NutraPro is the appropriate scoop for the profile

Honestly, when it comes down to it, its not going to make a big difference either way. I would recommend using the one that came with the product.

Kinda what I was expecting to hear. ON and Dymatize are already considered great in mixability so Nutrapro would either be on par or below. So now we know it's similar to ON and Dymatize and to me it also comes down to the price. I hope NP will look into 25lbs/50lbs bag at a lower price or maybe a 5lbs refill bag.

Pct, I apologize for the fact that it took be a bit to get back to you as I just got back in the office today. The scoop that is supplied is a 70cc scoop. That is the size which gives around 80 servings per container and meets the nutritional profile.

There any samples going out? I'm looking for a new protein and would like to try the strawberry before placing a big order :)

Thanks so much for the quick reponses guys! No sweat on the time, was just staying on top of use so this way didnt forget ;)

Scooper that came with the protein is the whey to go! Thanks fellas!

Chub, we're going to sample it, but it's going to take about a week or so before we can get the sample bags and labels made.

This^^^ :D

And the mixibility is awesome. I wasn't that impressed with Dymatize...

Honestly, as of right now...NutraPro is my go to whey. Im telling everyone about it BUT if the price goes anywhere near what they have it slashed down from (when it was on sale) which was like $45 or something? I will turn around and head the other direction to something much cheaper!

btw I have no affiliation with NP. Their whey is spot on though! Crazy clean taste and mixibility is flawless (even in a shaker). Tomorrow I mix 1scoop choc and 1strawberry :)

agreed, you cna get elite gourmet for 28/60serv so its less than $.50 per scoop, where as nutrapro is 30/80 right now so its cheaper but you go to 38ish/80scoops and you lost a lot of people very fine line to walk so BULK WOULD BE AWESOME
