A log with vague goals

I think you construction skills are a lot higher than mine. I did build our chicken coop and I thought it turned out well but short term we are thinking of a simple greenhouse probably from amazon with polycarbonate because they're damn cheap and I keep researching that the polycarbonate is a better insulator than glass. I've learned quite a bit about grow lights from the reef keeping, and kept a grow light in my chicken coop for fall/spring to force egg production a bit which worked. grow lights can be super cheap (or super expensive) and I'd love to see if I could get those on solar. I've read a shitload on solar, but I've never actually deployed it myself so it will be a learning curve. I would think that connecticut winters get as cold as ours, but we get strong wind so I have some concerns that an 8x12 or 10 x 12 cheap greenhouse could get destroyed during the windy season if it's not heavy enough....time will tell....

When you click the link there's multiple sizes you can choose from. This is the pop-up one that I have right now. It's pretty durable and for the price you absolutely can't beat it.

that is a TON of square footage for the price, I'm shocked they are running it with galvanized framing at that price!
That company is a massive massive massive wholesale company they sell everything you can think of lol. You can go get yourself a stainless steel water cooler a fan for your attic a greenhouse and a sledgehammer all at the same place.

I'm not going to hate on it. when I was building hotrods/lowriders all the guys were bragging about snapon tools and I'd hit up the harbor freight for a $9.99 cutoff wheel that lasted for an entire build and then some lol. when my wife and I got into boating back in 2020 first thing I did was head down to harbor freight to outfit a "boating" emergency toolbox to keep onboard. a $1 wrench sinks into the Puget Sound just as fast as a $100 snap-on lol.

heres what I been eating lately, these are not the actual meals but I just listed all the foods in chat AI and let them figure it out. I noticed a few things that didn't line up (because of different brands and portion sizes) and the real numbers are approximately 275p, 400c and 150f =1100+1600+1300=4000cal. Bodyweight didn't change more then a half pound but my stomach isint as tight as it was 2 weeks ago.

Made 2 workouts I'm going to alternate through for the next 6 weeks. % are based of my 3-5 rep Max as opposed to the typical one rep max. So there's 2 workouts and each workout gets done 2 different ways, training with 50-70% and 70-90% of my 3-5 rep maxes . I'm also probably underestimating my current strength Judging by the incline 220 x12. Squats didn't feel particularly heavy but my groin and knees felt tight. I squat very deep and when I'm bottomed out there's a uncomfortable stretching pain in my groin on one side. Il work on stretching that out and il probably do box squats to parallel with the 80-90% on those days. I did this last night, today was light cardio, tomorrow is deadlifts OHP back legs and maybe a tricep exercise at the end. The workout and weight is already in the book, I just left the book at the gym today🤷😄.

Is anyones app or website acting up? Mine keeps freezing while loading when I go into DM or threads ect. Basically anything I open loads forever

Diet and workout look good….you should build good with that, especially around 4200 calories.💪
That's what I was thinking as well. 4200 cals is a good amount to grow for sure!

Yesterday I pushed it way harder then I should have lol. Legs were actually sore from Thursday still and now there killing me.

After warming up rotator cuffs and doing some dead hangs and bird dog variations I did some light back/ham extensions and went into deadlifts. It was the light deadlift day and I did sets of 8 up to 265 and i finished it off with 265 x16 (not touch and go) I treated every rep like I was pulling a double. So 2 controlled reps, 2-3 deep breaths and 2 more reps till I hit 16. I had more in me but my form was breaking down the last 2-4 reps. Hack squat 3 sets of 10, did OHP up to 155x8 back down to 95x21, 4 sets of lateral raises and I finished off with a superset of curl grip chins and tricep press downs. I was walking to my car and it started raining so I went back inside for a minute to let the rain calm down and I ended up throwing on my gloves and did 15min on the heavy bag, gloves off and another 2 rounds bare knuckles.

I like to hit the bag a little with no gloves on. Aside from it toughening up your hands and wrists, it forces me to throw sharp punches and not get lazy. If I get sloppy I may roll my wrist or jam something (which I occasionally do) but I find adding a few bare knuckle rounds helps me be mindful of how I throw punches.

We successfully got sanctioned to host a masters boxing event in November. The entire main fight card will be 35 and older.....🤔 maybe next month we only bench, deadlift, spar and run 🤷. I'm finishing my 4 weeks of planned workouts first but by the second week of October that may be the plan. It would force me to get absolutely peeled if I wanted to make the 178 class, hell even at 185.

Current weight 196, thought I had some good pictures using the bench to hold my phone but every single one is blurry like I used a flip phone from 2003. The photos are so blurry I didn't need to blur out my face 😂

196.2 to be exact, I don't know my body fat percentage but I've put a little fluff back on, not much tho I'm still pretty lean. 185 won't be horrible, 176 or 178 might be a pipe dream tho.

That’s cool y’all got sanctioned to host a boxing event. You will definitely be peeled at 178. Training for an event always seems to add that extra focus, boost, and drive. Hope you do well and have a good flight.💪

Lets see if I get a opponent first. The last 4 fell through. This is our event tho and since we only have 4 masters boxers that want to fight, finding matchups for only four of us shouldn't be that hard. When we go to other gyms to spar I will be completely dressed up in long sleeves and sweatpants though I don't want people looking at me lol. The way I look right now not many 40yr olds are going to want to fight me at 178. I'm also leaving it open to 178-190 il take anything in-between

On that note I'm just straight TRT + slu for the next 2 months. I need to get smaller because I get crazy pumps right now and that's no good for cardio

I'm still going to crank out this program for another 4 weeks and then drop off all accessory and hypertrophy stuff. I actually enjoy just doing the big lifts, sparring and going home after.

Like bench press weighted chins and spar.

Or spar and deadlift.

Simple yet highly rewarding workout as picking up heavy shyt and punching stuff are my two favorite things to do lol

We're all gunna have to pitch in and get you a new phone for better quality pics. I feel like i'm time traveling in the past looking at this pic :ROFLMAO:

Looking lean and pumped in those photos! How long have you been on the SLU now? And what effects have you noticed so far? Thinking about adding it into this mini-cut.

My phone actually takes great pictures. But the mirror was filthy and when I'm taking pictures late in my workout my hands are all shaky and it's hard to hold the phone still usually so I tried setting it up on the bench but the glare of the lights and the filthy ass mirror just ruined it lol. I actually am going to clean all the mirrors when I go in this morning 😂 😂 😂

But look I took this in the garden the other day

i got this 13ft mutant sunflower with 20 heads. I got no clue where it came from it went from being like 5 ft tall to 8 ft tall to 15 ft tall with 50 heads overnight lol

Oh the sunflower was just to show that I can take normal pictures lol. Just in case anybody thinks I had a really bad ADHD moment and forgot what we were talking about lol

There's nothing really to notice in how you feel. Some say slightly elevated heart rate but I dont notice that. I get increase cardio and workout capacity and you just kinda stay in better shape on it. If there's anything non-steroidal that you can call recomp in a bottle, it's SLU. Now take that with a grain of salt. It's not a miracle in the sense it's going to take a out of shape person and get them in shape. But it's definitely making tiny little consistent improvements. Experiencing HGH in doses above replacement and SLU are probably the 2 most useful things I've come across in years.

Put it this way. If I had 2 options. And I have to stick with one of them forever.

1. You have access to every single steroid but no HGH or SLU ever.

2. You only have access to testosterone and you can never use any other steroid but you can have HGH and SLU.

I pick option number two no questions asked. I can see myself doing a gram of test, 5units HGH and SLU on my next cycle. Estrogen management would be my only concern.

SLU also helps with blood sugar, liver health, lowers cholesterol and improves cardiac function. All beneficial, especially on steroids

Because my last 2 lifting days kicked my ass so I cut tomorrow's workout in half and did some of it today.

Got up early and had 20oz of half caff coffee, a protein bar and some dates

35° incline up to 280x3
35° CGB 195x6,6,6,6
35° DB fly 20,30,40's x 10
Standing cable chest press 120,140,160x20
DB krushers 25x20, 30's x 18
DB curl superset with press down for a pump

30gm fairlife RTD and off to work. Stomach will hate me tonight after starting my day with coffee protein bars and protein shakes lol

Coffee, protein bars, and protein shakes is called “the Rumble in the Jungle”.
My wife loves Sunflowers….That one you got is impressive. I’m gonna have to show her that. Of course she’ll have me doing a mad search to get her some next Spring.😎

Well that's good. Cleaning the gym mirror is much easier that trying to get a new phone :ROFLMAO: I was expecting a picture of a different substance plant than sunflowers! ;)

IDK how boxing weigh-ins work but if you drop low enough, would you have the option then of fighting in every class equal to, or higher than your weigh in? like if you did drop to 176, you could at least grab a fight with pretty much anyone 176 or heavier?

20lbs is a tall order... i know 10 would be cake for you, 20 would take a beating maybe...

those look great dude, we only had one really strong one survive this year seeded in the middle of our vegetable box, we usually have a row of them by the fence but critters trashed them this year. I sorta think its voles maybe? cause there are often little holes where a critter I thikn pops out of the ground, grabs the seedling, then eats it and disappears.

You can go up 1 weight class. So if someone weighs in at 176 they can go up to 185 I believe. But they can also fudge that by making a catch weight. You weight in and fight on the same day. That's why I think 176 or 178 (can't remember the class limit) but that's why I think it's out of reach. I know I can weigh 176 if I had to. But I'd imagine I'm going to be very dehydrated and depleted and I think I'd be better off being heavier.

This wouldn't really matter tho. Your fight should be set up for weeks if not months before the event. The only way that you could change your weight class on the day of the fight is if your opponent didn't show up and then someone else's opponent didn't show up so you guys decided to fight each other in one of the Open spaces and then on top of that you'd have to hope there were multiple guys around the same weight classes, it does happen I have fought as a fill in on someone else's card when I was just there to watch. They had someone not show up, I was there and weighed 184 or something like that and they made a catch weight and we did 3 rounds (only 1.5min rounds too lol) if you have never boxed 1.5min rounds is still more challenging than you think. But when your use to 3+ min rounds it's easy.

They have masters tournaments where every fight is 1.5min rounds. It's great if you like to brawl, but if you are relying on out boxing the guy it's tough. There's only so much you can feel someone out in a minute and a half, by the time you're picking up on what they're doing the rounds over.

I'm definitely in favor of the 1.5min slugfest rounds 😂

I'm not going crazy for this either. Ive been through this too many times lately without a match at the end. Il make sure my cardio is good, il make sure I stay within 12-15lbs of a weight class and when I'm 3 weeks out and there's still a opponent lined up then I'll start cutting weight and worrying about it. I'm not going to get all worked up for nothing again.

At the same time, it gives me more stuff to focus on and it works.

I'm doing a little strength phase, then I'll drop a few pounds in a conditioning phase and if needed il suck down whatever I need to and in the absolute worst case scenario, il be super lean and ready for a bulk afterwards. On the way back up I could hit a bench press or deadlift comp. There's always something I can do.

Good thing this log has vague goals 😂

I was thinking a 20 lbs cut could be a bit much, and would hit your endurance pretty hard. That 187 Cruiserweight might be more realistic for you to come in full strength and not drained. But it’s good your mindset is just going with the flow and you won’t be too disappointed if a fight doesn’t pan out. If I’m remembering correctly, that’s what happened before, you did all that training and preparation and then the other guy backed out. I do think it’s cool though if you were able to get an opponent and a fight in. Training for some type of competition always helps add a little more focus and motivation in the gym. 💪😎

One of the times I was walking around at 218-220 and I cut almost 40,lbs, I was down to 183 and they pulled out 2 weeks before. Another time I was almost 180 and they changed fighters to someone who was going to come down from heavyweight and meet me at 190 for a catch weight so I let myself go back up to 195ish and then he pulled out.

Apparently there's not a ton of 35 to 45 year old men who want a actual fight lol. And I get it, when I get punched in the head it makes me a little dizzier than it used to when I was a kid, you definitely feel punches more as a 40 year old lol. But the fight is only three two-minute rounds it's the training that's the hard part I don't understand why someone would go through all those weeks/months of getting ready just to pull out

how long did a 40lb cut take you?

I think its just finding the time to train! I really need to get into the boxing gym, I just typically have every hour of every day already ear marked so its hard to make the time. Most dudes should have some fighting training in them, but I think its a tough part of life to make the time.

I don't remember exactly but I wanna say 3 months. I remember going from 220 to like 205 really fast And then everything slowing down. I remember being in the low 190's for a while and it was 3 weeks out when I was 182-183 and I was having a hard time holding it. Bounced up to 187 or something like that and the guy pulled out
I used to pull out all time.

Oh wait... sorry, wrong topic 😅
I was trying to think of a good joke for pull out as I was typing that one. I knew someone was gonna say something. 😂

Today's TO DO List.

Battle ropes
Arms

So oddly I'm experiencing some weird effects. What there from tho.....? You know how when your on orals or tren sometimes you feel crappy and beat down but then when you're in the gym once you're warmed up you're super strong and have great workouts and then by the time you get home you feel like a beat up old man again. That's how I feel lately. I'm stiff, joints a little sore, energy low and anxiety high. Il get warned up and little by little my workout starts to get better and all my aches are numb and I'm super strong.

Yesterday I had a change in plans and had a class 4 45min whier I was running around and sweating. I did some work on the mits after that, started stretching and did some pushups and I decided I should go home and all the sudden I feel great. Did about five sets of deadlifts working up to 455, knocked out 4 other exercises, put the gloves on and did 5 rounds, went home and by morning I'm old and achy again. The day is dragging ass but I know if I go to the gym and spend a solid 30 to 40 minutes warming up everything will start feeling good and then I can get a really good workout in it's a bit odd.

Why do I feel so rundown when I'm sitting around, I know age related things yes but this is different like I just don't feel energetic or motivated and I'm in a little bit of pain and I feel kind of crappy and then I start moving and I feel great 🤷

Aside from exercise being good for you and stuff like that does anyone have any ideas do you think this could be like a lot of systemic inflammation or maybe CNS burnout. Maybe it's just the anxiety. Idk. Not really complaining, just thinking about it.

Got some juicy cycle from my buddy. (Not really, they're pretty basic but it's quite a bit of a dose for someone for someone in their first year obviously)He's got 3 guys who came out the gate on there first cycles with 250-750 test and some HGH, cruise on 250 for 8 weeks and go up to 1gm test and add 600mast (which was later swapped to EQ because mast isn't around I guess) to basically ran into contest prep on 2gm if you count the orals. + Slin +SLU+Carn and (these are guys who don't give a **** that want to be bodybuilders ASAP basically. But basically this one guy started about 180lbs lean and now 1 year later he's 214 and almost stage ready. When someone says they gained 20lbs on cycle it's bullshit 99% of the time. But ......... It is possible if you don't mind jamming on the gas pedal.

I very much would like to do something like a gram of test with however much EQ or primo I need to control estrogen, 10units of GH and maybe some anadrol or tren at the end. The doses don't scare me.

But where the **** are you shooting 7-10ml gear, 7-10ml carnitine, 7 HGH pins.

Fukin Christ!

I know exactly what you’re saying about feeling run down but feeling energetic and strong in the gym. I go through that every once in awhile, but of course I’m 61, so most pain I feel is usually arthritis in the joints. Thank God I usually feel good most of the time, but I know exactly what you mean. I do think that lethargy could come from a combination of stress (Cortisol elevated) and a CNS strain. For me though it usually goes away and doesn’t last long. I used to go through that when I did PCT, but started adding SNS Reduce XT and that helped a lot. That’s why I was thinking cortisol could be a part of it.

I've been feeling it lately, could be the seasonal transition to fall. I'm not even on anything at the moment. so the one thing I'm not relating to is any bit of anxiety, if I were on epi or var I'd probably be feeling that too. but yeah like it takes an extra oomph to make myself get to the gym or like yesterday I met a buddy at the driving range and we hit golf balls for two hours. it was a blast, we were hitting bombs, going for long drive, and sweat about 4lbs. by the time I got home I was completely exhausted like ready to sleep and I slept like a rock... I'm giving myself an easy week here, hoping it's seasonal and fatigue and optimistic next week will be a fresh start.

Do you still have EQ in your system? Any chance estrogen is low? Low E2 would definitely make you creaky and anxious and affect wellbeing.

I was doing 6ml/wk end of last blast (400/400/200 test/mast/dhb). But I haven’t been using Carnitine at all because it’s been hot enough in training and I don’t need extra sweating to dehydrate me (that would be counterproductive to performance).

The first 7ml is no issue really, just a daily 100 unit 27g slinpin. If you had 10ml, you could do eod 2.5ml shots (or 4x weekly really) pretty easily in many bigger sites. Then 1ml of a 500mg Carnitine daily. Whether you do 2iu or 10, you can mix a vial with a small amount for your belly subq GH shots. But you’d still be looking at 17-18 shots/wk to get 1 each carn & GH in daily plus 9cc (3x3ml).

I can tell you 14+ gets really old quickly. Especially because carnitine gives that weird PIP.

I don't remember off top when I ended the cycle, 1 wanna say it's been over 6 weeks. I don't think I was on anything by August but I'm gonna have to go check now. I was up to 600eq the last week but I got hurt and a week later I stopped (this was the incident when I jumped off the porch after the dog so if I was to go back through my log I can figure out exactly when it was) I did continue to use 600-900mg of epiandro pre workout 3x week in early August for sure. Just had a bottle half empty and made an executive decision to use it even though we're probably just wasted it.

I wouldn't assume it's low estrogen from EQ. But, it does actually feel like low estrogen, tired, aches, libido is a little bit low And I don't know if this is a low estrogen thing but the last 2-3x I had sex, it doesn't feel as good. It's ok but dull at the end. No big finish, just kinda done lol

That definitely sounds like it’s a possibility. EQ takes a couple months to clear. But you could easily test that; bump the test up for a week and see if you feel better (and especially if the joint aches go away). I mean obviously more estrogen will help that regardless probably, but much moreso if there’s currently a pronounced deficit.

I mean if 10mg more per day/~70/wk was the solution to your woes, I’d say it’s worth considering.

Ya il take a extra shot of test this week and I have dermacrine I was going to start at 3pumps again too. Il start with a extra shot of test tomorrow and see what happens over the weekend/week.

On a side note, AMP 5, anyone ever use this? I got a bottle but outside of a few Google search I don't know much about it

curious too... its in my L-Carn
From my gathering it's a cardio/endurance drug. I read some stuff about how it speeds up red blood cell turnover. Makes me wonder if it would pair well with things like EQ and anadrol. I mean I know performance wise it will, but to make better use of the extra red blood cells

Sounds good to me. Wonder if it could have any negative interactions with Tadalafil or Methylene Blue.
AMP-5 has No drug interactions with tadalifil or methylene blue. Methylene blue technically has clinically insignificant interactions which is of no worries here. What's making you wonder if there would be negative interactions with those two specific things. I might be able to explain why it would or would not be a issue.

Tadalifil is a pde5 inhibitor, nitric oxide pathway, it doesn't make more nitric oxide but it enhances the effects of nitric oxide. It has no effects on RBC. And amp 5 however does have the ability to increase nitric oxide production so theoretically it could complement it or increase the effectiveness of it. Actually, it definitely should increase the effectiveness of it. M-Blue can lower hematocrit dramatically at higher doses. But the doses we are using 2-5-10-15mg. No significant effect on RBC. Id imagine we're not going to have issues there.

There's mixed feedback on tadalifil and m blue together. In low doses like we are using they should compliment each other. But as the M-Blue dose increases it has a opposite effect. There's a weird thing that happens sometimes we're you may get a prolonged erection that won't go away. It can damage your junk too. Methylene blue in high doses is used to reverse the prolonged erection. In higher doses it is counter productive for sex.

So if you take amp 5 with cailis and get a massive 6hr boner we can probably megadose methylene blue to fix it 😂

I'm searching to see if vigorous Steve or Derek from mpmd had any videos on AMP-5? Maybe one of the endurance deep dives?

Idk if AMP5 is different than regular AMP or how it is, but regular AMP is normally injected for greater pump right before a training session or bodybuilding show backstage before posing. It can lower blood pressure dangerously if overdosed.

Amp 5 is AMP, adenison monophosphate. Different name but same thing.

Yes low blood pressure is the most obvious one so far, I'm just looking for some comfort before I play guinea pig. Most of the literature I can find is for horses so when you search anything, Momma government has to tell you 11,000 times that there is no human drug and I can't find doses for humans. I'm confused about the application tho. Using it for enhanced pumps makes sense but it's also used for race horses for cardio purposes. But, as I'm typing this, I think I figured out what I was about to ask.

I have found that things that give a great pump in the gym dramatically limit my cardio. But cardio is the wrong word. It's not limiting my actual cardio capacity, it's helping it. I just can't do a ton of cardio if your all pumped up. But a horse race is like 15 seconds long. The house isn't doing 30 minutes of strength training and then sparring or going for a 15min run afterwards.

So this could definitely be useful for explosive style training. Speed work in powerlifting, sprint training ect. When it's time to do actual cardio tho, sparring or bag work, long distance anything, basketball or soccer. Probably not a good choice.

If anyone comes across human doses, I'd like to at least try this stuff a handful of times. But I am a little nervous lol. I'm hopping this stuff stores well because I need a lot of convincing on some things.

I may have been researching the wrong way, by putting amp 5 I get horse info and just searching adenison monophosphate I get some human stuff now. Which is really confusing because I feel like I've been searching it both ways and now I'm getting different results.

Am I falling victim to some AI stuff lol. I got a turn off the AI function

All I’ve used is 5mg at a time in the Stampede blend from Amino Asylum a couple years back before they were knocked off. But if I recall correctly that’s a super low dose, almost negligible. I mean 1cc of that did give more endurance & vascularity than just using 400mg of plain l-carnitine, but it could also have been the 40mg of ATP it had.

Reach out to someone like Skip Hill on YouTube and see what he says. I know I’ve heard him mention it at some point somewhere.
