There isn't an OT worth #2, though. I guess Nelson would be, but we don't need interior help as much as OT. I think we'll address OL and LB in FA, but the FA OT are also meh. Ideally, we'd trade down and get still Mayfield and a few extra picks.

Just saw that. Wtfffff. I wonder if it is because Luck's timetable to return is worse than what was previously expected (yet again)?That seems to be the most obvious reason for the change of heart.

the video of foles calling his shot to pederson is awesome for those who haven't seen it. Doug kinda gives him a " are you serious" look then a "**** it" lookand says yeah lets do it haha

I think Luck is the most likely reason. Without him, Colts are a bad, bad team.

The other possibility is BB is retiring soon and with Patricia gone, McDaniels is the heir apparent.

Yeah I think it came with reassurance that he’s the heir within the next few seasons they need him to get another JG. Develop him so when Brady and Bel retire together he can start his franchise.

I think Luck still played into it. With two good drafts and FA, the colts could contend with Luck healthy.

When BB and Brady retires, who knows what you have. Who knows if you'll find another JG

true on both statements, i believe luck factored into it heavily.... but theyd need to get literally the best OL in the draft and FA. to lock that line in and protect luck. need a better rushing attack as well.

Well, after Peyton's neck was destroyed from getting murdered behind the line you'd figured they'd draft heavily into OL. Nah. Another WR!!!

Now Luck's shoulder was destroyed from getting murdered behind their line, I don't have high hopes for them drafting OL. Quentin Nelson would be huge for them though.
 
You have no idea how much I despise Grigson after watching him and his completely asinine draft strategy year after year.

No, for real lol. His rights were held by the Rangers - they drafted him out of high school (or when he was at NC state, I don't remember which). But he wanted to play football.

Dolphins may have to resend the tag or release other players. Landry's tag is $18m, Dolphins currently salary cap is at $9m
 
Would be pumped to have Vinatieri back. He is the man.

I also got a notification that the Colts are unlikely to re-sign Frank Gore, who is currently 4th on the all-time rushing yards list.
