He's average. I'd imagine they'll build the run game and make him do less. Even when he couldn't make any throws during playoffs, he made plays with his legs.

He had one great year, but overall his mechanics are off and he misses a lot of throws. I think Cousins would have nearly guaranteed Jacksonville as contenders, but they couldn't have paid Ramsey, Myles Jack, and their other young players and cousins. Bottles contract is almost like a bridge for Jacksonville - manageable salary cap and three years for Bortles to either get it together or Jacksonville to get another QB. Maybe theyll get Mayfield. That would be fun to watch

Davis Webb has been working with some QB guys and is apparently impressing. Beat writers speculating Giants may not take a QB, which opens the door for a trade down. Bring on Fitzpatrick to pair with Collins and extra picks to get some OL and LB talent.

I wasn't happy with the contract either as he is a liability to our offense. The coaches' lack of truat in him let the Pats come back and win (that and the refs). I hope they at least make a huge effort to bolster the O-line as giving him more time will help.
