Luck isn't back yet.....
He practiced, but on the injury report they listed him OUT, wonder how long they will hold him on the sidelines.
I hope the NFL is as exciting as CFB was yesterday...
MSU and Michigan
Oaklahoma losing
Buffalo game going to 7 Overtimes.
Most likely out for another week or 2..
I think this week has very good matchups, should be one of the better Football Sundays...not sure if I see any blowouts on paper, outside of CLE...
Watson = a TD Machine, Hope you fellas got him on your fantasy team.
Sucks for Watt, man. I hate seeing him go down with injuries like that.

My 7 yr old asked for a bedtime song...thought this made a perfect fit.

Almost as good as this:

Neither has CJ2K, but I would be willing to bet AP has more in the tank than Johnson at this point in their respective careers.
Not sure why the Saints even traded for him because he wasn't a great fit for their offense.
Actually Ingram and Kamara are doing great with the ground game in New Orleans, it was Peterson who wasn't getting it. He has 27 carries for 81 yards, and 2 catches for 4 yards. And his only significant amount of yards came during the Carolina game in garbage time. Just sayingCardinals trade for Adrian Peterson, cut Chris Johnson
personally do not like the trade AP has not produced anything lately....Even on the saints offense which is one of the best in the league they can barley get any ground game going.

Ingram will have another 1,000 yd rushing season along with another 400 receiving, and Kamara will have almost 1,000 receiving and 600 rushing at least. Mark my words. And by the way. Its 4 games. They were on bye this week.Ingram - 170 total rushing yards through 5 games
Kamara - 83 Yards
Peterson - 81 yards
If Karama is doing great then AP is considering doing "Great" For a 2 yard difference. NO is year in and year out one of the best offenses in the NFL. It is clear they are struggling in the run game. AP Is past his peak, sure picking him up in AZ may be a great decoy in the backfield. I do not think we will see him break 1,000 yards in the season or have very many 1,000 yard seasons's left in his tank.

That's right, I forgot about that.Saints never traded for him...he was a free agent.
I think AP def has more left in the tank than 2k, too.
You have to look at YPC and receiving yards. There you will find the difference between Kamara's and AP's seasons (especially receiving, I dont know their exact ypcs).
I think AP has always been someone who has to get into the flow of the game. He will do better with a consistent workload and being "the guy" imo. He has averaged just over 5 carries per game, I personally think that has a lot to do with it.
When AP is in the backfield. Defense's will stack the box. More then likely they want to run the ball and that is what AP is in for. As you can tell they don't throw to him often or at all (2 total catches the entire season). Where Kamara is more of a dual threat. hence why he has a lot more receiving yards/catches then AP Does. You don't see AP getting a lot of screens or swing passes in the games anymore. Possibly due to the knee injury and that is one play that can leave a RB out for the season if they get chopped in the knees while trying to go up and catch the ball without seeing a DB Coming.
The Cardinals like to run the ball, we saw what they did last year and how dominant they were on the ground game which gave them so much play action potential. This is my guess on why they want AP to get back to that way of football. Do I think AP Can do it? Probably not. I think he is past his peak. Since the knee injury it has been a struggle for him. Kind of reminds me of RG3 after his massive knee injury. He was just never the same.
Defenses have "stacked the box" AP's entire career...he has never been a dual threat RB..torn ACL, comes back and rushes for 2k...incident with his son, misses entire year, comes back and leads the league in rushing in 2015...you're counting the wrong guy out.
He has not produced in New Orleans with one of the best offenses in the league. Maybe Arizona will be the better fit then New Orleans, we will soon find out. There were countless of other backs who out rushed him last year. We will see where he falls come the end of the year.
The Saints' Offense is defined by #9...they have always been a bottom half team or worse in terms of rushing numbers and have only produced 1 1,000 yard rusher (Ingram 2016) since 2006...
Exactly my point, They wanted to change the run game and went out and got AP. Did it change? Not really. Do I think he will magically turn around Arizona after they lost their leading back? Possibly, but again time will tell. If you have A QB who can put up 4,000 yards year in and year out you can easily flank out AP, throw him screens, or a few quick dig's/out's to get him the ball and let him run loose in open field. Once AP gets in the open field then that is when defense's start to get shredded. Most times he will be lined up vs a linebacker. 8/10 times he will outrun that person or jump over them for a ball.
Throw a wheel up the sidelines in man coverage and I can bet you he would smoke the LB matched up with him. He can still run, he is still athletic, but as he does age we truly wonder how many more years AP Does have. Those hits do take a toll not the mention the surgery on the knee.
NO didn't want to go out and change their approach, they prematurely signed a guy who is built for 3 downs, and utilized him incorrectly;

Not sure how they have been other weeks, but Philly does have the #2 ranked run defense, so I wouldn't expect anyone to do too much running the ball against them.Carolina's run offense and Cam's accuracy were both subpar. Philly's D looks strong.

Yeah, that is part of that whole "#2 ranked rushing defense" thing I mentioned. From the start of the game Carolina never got a push on their D-Line. Philly's D-Line totally dominated them up front. Even when they did hand it off or run a lot of sweeps Philly's contain was super fast to swarm carolina.

Officiating in that game was god awful too (that crew has done a miserable job officiating Eagles games in the past few seasons).

It is going to be a lot tougher for Dak without Zeke to lean on. They are already struggling this season, and, unless Morris and McFadden really step up, I don't see them making the playoffs without Zeke. I honestly think there is a real likelihood that they go 2-4 (maybe even 1-5 if LAC can learn to finish games) over this stretch of the season. It is a tough set of games, even with Zeke, (Skins, Chiefs, Eagles, Falcons) and Dak hasn't really been "great" when the run game has stalled.Whats your take on dallas now with Zeke out for 6 games?
