If FSU and TAMU end up going SEC in the end, this game will never be significant again.

No matter what your opinion is, those games will always be significant to a true college football fan, because classic rivalries never die. Especially the FSU, USC, Miami, etc. with us. No matter how 1-sided it might get. No matter what conference they are in.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to rubberring again.

Ya know whats funny to me????? Texas!!!!! it should be part of Mexico IMO:stooges:

Whats funny to be is you didnt try to refute any part of what I said. And no, given the chance, Texas would end that **** in an instant. Stop the illegals kids from being citizens, quit with the bull**** sentiments of amnesty, and sack up.

Good for them. The need an extra boost.

This is just another reason college athletics have changed over the years. An education is apparently not earned at some schools (or don't want to be earned). This is why our youth, and future is going down a greased drain. Below is an exert from an article on a recruit.

Lynch is regarded as a difference-maker.

“What led me to make this choice was that this is not a four-year decision,” Lynch said. “I know if I come here and get my degree, I can go anywhere in the country and get a job if football doesn't take me that way. Notre Dame is where I want to be.”

Lynch, who made 52 tackles with 16 sacks last season, said that Irish head coach Brian Kelly was ecstatic with the news, and started dancing around in his office.

“He was going crazy,” Lynch said. “He was real happy that I was going to commit, because I told him last time that this was the place I wanted to be, but I wanted to check out other schools.”

Lynch studied film of last season's Cincinnati team and likes the 3-4 defensive scheme that enabled the Bearcats to finish in the top 10 in the nation with 37 sacks. Defensive line pressure has been an area of concern for the Irish in recent seasons.

Lynch is happy to have the recruiting process over.

“The last couple of weeks were really stressful,” he said. “I had everybody on my back, calling me, all the coaches saying, ‘Come here. This is a great place for you.' My heart's at Notre Dame. This is where I want to be.”

Others, however, weren't so sure.

“A lot of the players (at Island Coast High School) like FSU or Florida, and they were like, ‘Why would you go to Indiana and play for this highly academic school, when you can go to FSU and play, and you don't have to do a lot of the work. You just pass right through,'” Lynch said. “I'd rather come to a school and work hard to be successful, rather than just have it handed to me.”

Couple of rumors are saying TAMU will be an SEC member in 2013. Also that Slive was in college station over the weekend. No idea if theres any legs.

Man, it's hard to imagine the SEC being even more competitive. Read this today:

"If Alabama successfully defends its 2009 SEC championship this season, it will become the conference's first team to post back-to-back titles since Tennessee won two in a row in 1997 and 1998.

Since the Volunteers' championship in 1998, every other conference in the NCAA's Football Bowl Subdivision has had at least two instances where a team has won consecutive championships.

The SEC titles in the intervening seasons have been won by Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia and LSU. And while Florida and LSU have three championships apiece and Alabama and Georgia two each during that time, no team was able to double up in the SEC.

Meanwhile, starting with the 1999 season, Florida State has won the ACC title five times, Oklahoma has won the Big 12 title six times, Ohio State has won three Big Ten titles and shared three more, and Southern Cal has won four Pac-10 titles and shared two more."

LSU might have something to say this year to Alabama when they come to Death Valley. At least I hope they do. lol.
9/25/2010. Guess who will be in Fayetteville in Razorback Stadium? This guy. Jealousy is the emotion all of you are feeling right now.

Seriously though, the odds are pretty high that I'll have to eat crow at least once this season...

Alabama's schedule:
9/11 - plenny
9/25 - @ bikeswimlive
10/2 - Trauma1
11/6 - @ texaswolf
11/26 - ho0ther
12/4 - Trauma1 (Atlanta, GA)

...but damn, it feels good to see Bama back on top.

LSU wont be doing **** until Miles is gone. I talked to some of my negros at LSU and they were telling me some big names are wanting to transfer like my favorite guy, Reuben Randle and that Miles is ok but his assistants have lost the team. Not pretty.

I agree. I wasn't saying LSU will do anything in the west, just making fun of them for being "cajun".

exactly!! lol!!

Oh, and Arkansas will also probably be putting a beat down on LSU.. I'm so sick of LSU & getting them shoved down my throat.. When I first moved here in '98 I was all about LSU fooball.. Now, I've had enough..

I'm pissed that Mallet left UofM for AR.. Can't say I don't blame him, but damn he looked good in the maize & blue...

He left because he is Arkansan. The only reason he went to UM was because of Lloyd Carr. Once Meat Chicken came, and Petrino replaced Nuttsack at U of A, it was home sweet home. Oh and yes, we are going to put a beat down on LSU this year.

yeah, I remember watching his videos on youtube when he was still in HS.. Couldn't wait to get him up there in Ann Arbor! Now we have QB's that are too small for D2 football, let alone Big 10...

That's f*cked up man. :laugh2: Some do. Some skip some steps. I can agree with some of the steps in that chart too. Back to the texas thing, Im glad were bringing back Miami, Texas, etc. We need that type of schedule, no matter the coach, or our situation. But we do also need around 4-5 cupcakes with those teams just like any other team in a conference does. I just hope we can keep pulling the recruits we have been for 2011!

You're right. Bama should totally be playing Youngstown State, Kent State, and Temple.

The team playing Youngstown State and Temple ARE'NT the Nat'l Champs.

You're missing the point.!!!!!

PFFT - so Les can blow it during the 2 min drill again??

Depending who is eligible for UNC - y'all are gonna have a tough game. Their O is awful and y'alls ain't much better. Their front 7 is pretty damn stout.

Where are the Bucknuts?? Y'all have some retard fans that keep invading my forum - it's causing me to actually have to moderate! Damn I'm pissed. haha

plenny, you never have a point. Ever.

So, Bama's schedule should've been completely retooled after winning the NC? Are you under the impression that schedules are put together a few months before the season starts? I will admit that the Georgia State (a first-year team) game looks silly on paper, but Bill Curry (You remember him: former Bama coach who went 3-0 vs. Penn State) is their HC, and he lobbied very heavily to get that match-up because it will do wonders in getting his program off the ground.

But, just to address your concerns, Bama will play six teams this year (5 SEC opponents) who will be coming off of a bye week. Don't get me wrong, I'm not whining about it, nor would I ever use it as an excuse should the Tide stumble. I bring it up to illustrate that Bama's strength of schedule is beyond reproach.

Of course, it will take a bit of a hit when Penn State finishes 6-6 this season.

What? A Buckeyes fan who's an irritant? I find that hard to believe. :veryhappy:

Recruiting violations? **** man, its Miami. Getting thrown slutty women, drugs, and cars is like...just what happens for all people there. I heard theres a school somewhere around there too.
