I dont really care about baseball and I know firsthand the baseball team is a bunch of douche***s. Sorry.
Your sarcasm is duly noted, but please... don't feel bad for me. TT, it's difficult to hate what you don't understand, and you clearly don't know the demographic breakdown of the Bay Area. It consists of much more than just San Francisco and the campus in Berkeley. Beyond the obvious Oakland and San Jose markets, there are areas like Vallejo, Concord, Walnut Creek, San Ramon, Pleasanton (the most conservative city I've ever frequented), Hayward, Fremont, Santa Clara, Los Altos, Los Gatos, and Palo Alto. The pompous rich, the working class, the Muslims, the Christians, the gangstas, the wiggas, the rednecks, the queers, the illegals, etc. This area is beautiful, and diverse in both culture and landscape. I lived all over the country throughout my military service... Pensacola, Memphis, Dallas, Orlando, Seattle, San Diego, etc, and this region has a charm all its own. You admitted before that you've never even been to the Bay Area. I think you have it envisioned as some elitist liberal principality. It's not like that at all. There are plenty of ultra-conservatives, and every other facet of modern society. I don't mean this as an insult (seriously, I don't), but you come off as an intelligent guy with a bit of a chip on his shoulder when it comes to the political and moral views of those outside of your own compact, reactionary backyard. That kind of behavior is usually based on fear. I say this from experience. This area freaked me out when I was 20 years old. I'd be willing to bet you'd not only adapt to the culture here, but that you'd come to love it... as soon as you realize the scope of the Bay Area is far beyond just SF and Cal-Berkeley. That's what so nice about living here... there's something for everyone, and I don't know anyone who doesn't truly enjoy being here. Believe me, with the cost of living in this area, people wouldn't stay if they didn't have a fond connection to it, including the rednecks.
As for me, I will never live beyond a day's drive to Yosemite. Period.
Hope we're still BFFs. Either way... back to slammin' each other's football teams.
Are you Fruity Rudy?

No one doubts California is a nice place. Its the people that live there that make it disgusting. People with no sense of what is really important. Im receiving plenty of them and you can have them all back anytime.
Ive been to LA and San Bernadino and those were fruity/******* enough for me. Im sure its a nice place, Crepes-a-go-go and all, but Ill take the Texas country anyday. Its not my style. Besides, I also like being a sneeze away from Dixie. Besides, we're liable to break away and reform the CSA when **** hits the fan anyways. I also like gun rights, and not being taxed to death to make up for politicians that say, "Wait what?" when fiscal conservation is mentioned. Also, we dont treat illegals like super citizens. :outtahere::biggthumpup:
