2 consecutive weeks of daily nose bleeds

Hello everybody, my roomate has just finished a cycle of havoc, and he has had 2 consecutive weeks of nose bleeds occuring at least once a day. And before anybody goes flamining yes I have recomended him to a doctor but he is very busy currently and sees it as not a big problem. Havoc cycle was 4 weeks 20/30/30/30. I don't see blood pressure being a possible simply because that cause has been blown out of proption and there must be something else behind his IMO.

thanks

Has he even had his BP checked?

Blood Pressure has been "blown out of proportion" for good reason, it is the main cause of nosebleeds (besides picking, scratching, etc) it would be ignorant to rule it out so quickly, especially considering the fact that in many people steroidal substances easily cause high blood pressure. Have him get it checked! If its normal then go from there.

Seriously load up on the celery Seed Extract and start dosing Hawthorn Berry as well.

You could do yourself some serious damage and shorten your life with BP issues. Get started on the above NOW or see your Dr.

Tell your firend to go to your neighborhood pharmacy and use the free blood pressure machine. Make sure to get pleanty of readings to more accurately determine if there is a problem. If BP is normal then he may have some nasal/allergy problem.

Your firend still needs to go see a doctor, busy or not.

I can almost guarantee it's blood pressure -- like the guys before me said, high blood pressure is an extremely likely reason for nosebleeds.

I agree with Silver -- Wal-mart, Giant Eagle, and all those places have free BP readings..

I honestly can't think of anything that would cause 2 weeks of nosebleeds aside from a substantial cut, recurring broken blood vessels, or high blood pressure -- so I would bust his balls until he goes and gets it checked..

I don't trust those things. Have you guys ever noticed on the instructions that it says it's meant for an "average" arm of 13-14 inches? My 17 inch guns will cause it to read a false high.

I'm lucky...step son is an EMT and I just ask him to swing by with his bag and check me outt.

I must admit I love these threads. It doesn't give me much faith in the American intelligence level :)

"yah I accidently split my guts wide open last week, but I've been able to hold them in successfully until now. Anyone got a better way to hold them in?"

sigh.....

BP.

Although, I once worked at Office Depot, and I had to bend over and pick up paper to stock all effin day... one day my nose bled, then it bled almost every day I had to stock paper until I got a new job.

Current BP: 118/78

Staples, and crazy glue.

Like seriously, how many times have you guys seen serious symptoms or issues on the forum? It's like

GO SEE YOUR DR. !!!

I mean, asking here is ok, but arguing when everyone says the same thing... now that is pretty dag-gone dumb...

Haha I was waiting for a 2 consecutive week nosebleed thread. Between the cold/dry weather and cycling havoc I had nosebleeds everyday for almost 2 weeks. A few times it took almost 40 mins for it to stop...haven't had one since but it's also 40 degrees warmer out...

But I also have a vein in my nose that is largely exposed (the doctor said). I had it cauterized 3x in the past but I see it may need it again...

You're right those things aren't acurate at all. There are even warning on them that actually tell you they are not acurate and its just a guess basically.
