So a few weeks later and 20lbs heavier I feel a LOT better haha. You never realize how out of it you are until you get rehydrated and some real nutrients back in you ! I am bloated most of the time haha so I ordered some digestive enzymes and probiotics to help. Even though I am carrying a lot of water I am still pretty lean. Still have veins in my quads and calves, lines across my tris, and all though it looks like a GH turtleshell by the time evening comes around, I can still see the lines in my abs lol.
Right now I am still eating bro foods my first 4 meals, eggs, chicken, broccoli, rice etc and then eating what ever the wife fixes for supper. Although she is still keeping things pretty healthy it is harder to keep track of my cals. Been eating things like burritos with whole wheat tortillas and venison, deer chilli, venison meatloaf etc. So I am around 32-3600 cals.
I am looking at competing again in June with my brother. He is got the itch to get back on stage now so it'll be pretty cool to compete with him.
Also I am starting to get feedback from the judges. Pretty good so far "Excellent conditioning. Add more muscle to your frame with similar conditioning and you will on your way." But, much respect to your conditioning it stood out! Add some size to match that conditioning!!! " "U dominated and were amazing to watch on stage." "Great symmetry" " I saw the complete package."
Makes me feel pretty good. I went into this with a competitive attitude, but was mainly just happy to get on stage and see how far I could push myself. I never dreamed I would do as well as I did !!
