1 Reason to Live: Microdrol

Good log so far, still waiting for mine.
Interesting to see how pumped you get with this, as in how it compares to tablet form at like 10-20mg per day, as this should be much more efficient, good job, im watching.

Your still waiting on yours? Let me know when you get it and what your thread is called, as I want to see what everyone else is experiencing.

Somewhatgifted and I still haven't recieved ours yet either. Definitely interested in seeing your results before i start my run.

Sorry I didnt get up my workout yesterday guys. I had a doc appt, there was 2 traffic accident and had to go to the store, all in all I was out of the house for 7hrs. Anyways I was really pleased with yesterdays workout and here it is:

Bench: warmups, 225x5, 245x5, 275x5, 295x4(PR for reps), 325x1(should have gotten 2 but I let the bar sit at the top for too long after my 1st rep)
Pause CGBP: 225x5 3X
Pause Bench: 225x5 3X
Wide Pulldown: 220 4-3-2
DB Side Raise: 40 4-3-3
Skull Crush: 90 8-8-4
Farmers Walk: 110 held for 55 sec
1 Arm Rev Curl: 30x8 3X

Strength: It was very weird today with strength. I went in the gym and felt fine and started doing my warmups. I got to 185 and I said to myself **** this is kinda heavy. But as you can see I got a PR on 295 for 4reps and 325 for a single. So even when I dont feel strong it is there.
Mood: Mood is overall high, but yesterday I didnt have that kill'em attitude
Endurance: My workout lasted 1hr 20min, which is a little long for my taste but I will link that to the Mood issue.
Pumps: Only pump I got at the gym was in my forearms, but when I got home my chest blew up and has stayed that way even as I write.
Appetite: Appetite has slowed down over the weekend, but I have been stressed and alot of family was over. Still packing down a huge amount of food, but not like a hungry animal
Sleep: Sleeping like a baby. Before I started Microdrol I would go to bed around 11 and not wake up till 12, but since Microdrol I wake up a 9am refreshed and ready to go.
Vascularity: Got some veins popping out on my arms and like I said last week there is not nessesarily more, but they are fuller.

Cardio is going nicely, but it is taking a toll on my body. I really dont ever do cardio like I have been these last two weeks and I think it is effecting my strength in the gym a little, but I am also starting to notice some leaning out. I have always had a problem with my right pec having some excess fat on the lower area next to my armpit, but it has shrunk. Overall my upper body is gaining some really good size and leaning out. I have gotten alot of comments on how I look bigger up top. My goal for bench in the next two weeks will be to reach 365 for 2-3reps, followed by the next week testing my max and hitting 400 for a single.

There is something I wanted to ask you guys about a benching problem I have. Here are the mechanics I try and follow for heavy bench:

1. I know to arch your back
2. Keep hands directly under the bar
3. Push with your legs
4. Squeeze your scapulas together
5. Lower bar near/on the xiphoid process
6. Arms slightly tucked in

Now here in lies my problem. I use all those priciples when I am on my first exercise of regular bench for max strength. Now when I do the 2 pause bench exercises I dont arch and I dont squeeze my scapulas together. My logic is, when I do the 2 pasue bench techniques it will make the lift harder and hit the muscle a little different in hopes it will transfer over to when I bench the heavier weights. Problem is that now I cant seem to hold my scapulas together as tight/or at all during the heavy bench set. Is it as simple as always using the numbered techniques above or what???

I would try to keep the scapula retracted on all bench lifts to avoid injury. If anything your only putting more stress on the shoulder by not retracting the scap.
I agree completely. Proper bench form is paramount, scapula contraction is important always. flat back benching is bad news bro.:147:

Wow, your expecting an 80lb jump in your bench in three weeks! If you manage to get it that's absolutely awesome but i think you might be setting the bar a little to high. Good luck to you on this quest for 400!

Just looked at your pics... Have a hard time believe you are 25%... I would guess high teens

I think I have pretty much given up on what the scale says on bodyweight and body fat indicators. I just go by the mirror and if I like what I see I am happy, if I dont I work harder.

Well when you loom at it from my angle my max as of now is 325x1 after 4 working sets of 225x5, 245x5, 275x5, 295x4. Now if you minus those initial sets and just do a proper warm up and add bigger jumps in weight to hit a true PR then I would say I could get up 365 for a max single right now. Now my goal for the next two weeks is to hit 365 for 2-3 reps after a working set like the one above(of course with higher weights). Then the week after go for 400. In truth it is 80lbs I expect to add, but I am just looking at it differently.

Today was supposed to be a workout day, but when I woke up I find my wife downstairs. She stayed home from work to have a day for just the two of us. I must say it was a nice suprise and I had a really good time, and she didnt even mind that I did a 30min cardio session. Tomorrow I will be back in the gym and killin it.

my girl actually prefers me to get in a good cardio session while she's home. what are we talking about?

"you must spread some reputation around..." I often do cardio when my wife is home, HIIT. Now we are having a baby. Weird huh?:dunno:

Very happy with today's workout although I believe I might be switching the Supported T-Bar Rows for cable rows as I seem to have stalled on that exercise making very little progress.

T-Bar Rows: 4plates 6-3-2
Rack Deads: 375 6x1(I had to readjust my grip after every rep due to not dead lifting for over 6mths)
Bi Curl: 60lbs 2-1-1
Chins: 6-4-3
Wt. Dips: body weight + 90lbs 3-2-2

Will post a run down of how I am liking the Microdrol later tonight

haven't deadlifted in 6 months, and you do within 20 pounds of my set? :( man, that's just not fair.

4 plates on tbar is pretty impressive brotha, not to mention body weight chins when you're 260...

Thanks for the kind comments but keep in mind I am doing rack deads(just below knees ) and the t-bar rows are supported. The reason I havent deadlfted in so long was that last Sept I herniated a disk. I am going to schedual an MRI on Aug. 10th to see if its fully healed, but since the beginning of this year I have felt no pain, so I test it every three weeks. As for the chins damn right I am proud to get my fat ass up there, next week I will be adding between 15-25lbs and try and progress in reps.

I want to go out on a limb and challenge the makers of Microdrol and the people who gave me this opportunity. When I started this log I was able to hit 315 for a max single after my 4 working sets of 5reps. As stated my goal is to bench 400lbs for a single on the Monday of the 5th week. I will video tape this of course at my golds gym. Give or take, that will be an 80lb increase in bench in 4 weeks. When I accomplish this I would like to be sent 2 more bottles of Microdrol for an 8wk sponsored log of a hybrid metal militia squat routine I am working on, that I will post up on this site. If I fail I will take the hit and pay for the 8wk cycle myself and still do the log. Does Microdrol have the balls :) to take me up on this.

You look a lot like me when i am around 285. We have a similar bodytype. Good luck on the bench, hitting 405 and pulling 600 were the most memorable things i have ever done in the gym.

Can I ask you what percent body fat I look like, since we have similiar body types. I was recently told I was 25%, but I just cant wrap my head around that number. Also I dont know if I will ever hit the 600lb deadlift due to the back injury, but I am still confident about bench and squatting. My disk will need to have healed 110% for me to even think about going heavy again on deads.

I missed what was wrong with your disk, but one of my training partners was pulling mid 600's in his mid 50's with 5 herniated disks. If your back injury is not devestating you need to strengthen your abs and posterior chain trememdously.

As for your bodyfat you may be around 25, but i would not worry about it. If you want to cut just do the no no carb thing for a couple months, that is what i did, cheating on sundays and sneaking in a carb meal every couple days. I am down to 254 right now. I think i am going to stay here and and try and "recomp" (gayest word i ever heard lol) a little. I am also going to be using a good amount of banaba and Yellow Gold to do it. I have a training log here, and i put a little about supps and my weight up as well.

Yeah, I herniated my L4/L5 disk last Sept. and right off the bat I started taking SuperCissusRx @ 6 caps/day and I have continued to this day with that protocol. In April I deadlifted with about 225lbs for 6reps at a time for about 4 weeks and it felt fine but I still laid off until 4wks ago. While running this metal militia bench routine I do rack deads(below knees) once every three weeks and so far so good. I have an MRI schedualed for Aug 10 to see how well it has healed, but I wont progress to full on deadlifts till next year at the earliest. Until then I will do as you say and work on core and posterior. Thanks.....

How long did it take you to get past 505 on the pull? I seem to be stuck there right now.

Deadlifting has always been slow and steady for me. Have you tried pulling off a platform. 2-3 inches is good. Try this for 4 weeks.

Would this be for an extension of your current cycle or just a different cycle? I can look into this for sure.

Hey people, hope everyone had a good weekend. Switched out my regular db side raises for bent db side raises in hopes it will help with my lagging ability to squeeze my scapulas together on bench. Screwed up my 1st set of bench by ending on the 4th set instead of the 5th.

Bench: warmup, 245x5, 275x5, 315x4, 345x1
Pause CGBP: 245x3 3x
Pause Bench: 245x3 3x
Wide Pulldown: 220 6-4-3
Bent Db Side Raise: 40 6-6-6
Skull Crush: 100 6-5-3
Farm Walk: 110 55sec
1 Arm Rev Curl: 35 2x6

Strength: I dont want to say it but here it goes. I am still progressing in strength but it seems I might be nearing a plateau. 400 is still my goal but as of today I am getting a slight bit of fear in my gut.
Mood: Walking around the gym I can now see that I am nearing some of the bigger guys in there. I dont have the definition but with the numbers I can put up I just feel better. There is this one guy in the gym who has a huge upper body, not cut but huge and he even gave me a compliment on how I looked.
Endurance: When I do assistance exercises which I usually do rest pause I started out waiting between 25-30 sec between sets, now I am down to 20 or so and I am breathing fine and can lift the weight
Pumps: Pumps havent been great lately but I am not one to get huge pumps all the time
Appetite: Still eating like a horse, all I can say
Vascularity: On non-workout days my veins dont pop out alot, but I can see alot of them just under the skin waiting to explode out
Sleep: Sleep has been wonderful. Good dreams, wake up refreshed and easy to fall asleep.

Cardio is going ok, and of course it is not the best part of my day because I hate it, but it must and will be done. Another thing I need to start busting my ass on is core training. I am a huge slacker in this department and need to make some changes. My challege is still on the table and I cant wait to this coming Monday to see what my max is.

Man do I feel good today, really had that Alpha Male thing going on and felt strong. Cant wait to hit the weights on Thursday and break some PR's. Looks like I better have my A+ game for Monday trying to bench 400, I have not dialed in how I going to proceed in weights jumps for Monday in getting to 400, so if you guys could toss in your thoughts I would appreciate it. Off the top of my head this is what I would do:

warm up, 275x1, 315x1, 345x1, 375x1, 400x1

just my opinion, but whenever I go for a pr, I never attempt my previous pr. I would do something like this

wrmup 185-225x 6-12

275x 2-3

315x1

345 x1

skip 375

400 for a single. if 375 was your previos pr, Dont waste the energy trying to get it. If you fail at 405, go for 385-395 a few minutes later, I bet you get it. Sooner or later, when you get in those higher numbers, 1 lb starts to feel like 5.

Today was just not my day. I felt stronger on my T-Bar Rows but I come home to find I repeated the exact same rep scheme. I increased my dips by 1 rep but I was sloppy and wasnt in control. There were also some highschool punks who apparently thought it was ok to hog the squat rack to do curls with just the bar and a 5lb plate on each side.

Support T-Bar Rows: 4plates 6-3-2
Good Morn: 195 3X5
Bi Curl: 60 3-1-0
Chins: bodyweight +15lbs 5-2-1
Dips: bodyweight+90 5-2-1

Everyone be sure and check out this thread Monday night as I will post my oh so anticipated bench press max.

Bigiron here is your motivation. :) If you do succeed with the 400x1 bench or better (must be videotaped) we will send you two more bottles. If it's cool we would like to use your video and maybe a short narrative on your gains with the product on our site as well. Invalid Link Removed

I'm rooting for you man. Good luck.

No guys, I havent pushed 400 yet, I was just getting everyone ready for Monday. Just hang on with me and I will not let you down....
