♦Peri-Workout Propulsion (Sponsored)

Yep, definitely diggin' the pre and peri combo - that really seems the way to go. I am running out of IA: the extra scoops here and there have really added up. I'll wrap this log up at the end of the week. Look for a final review sometime over the weekend, but know this, once I can afford it, this will be a regular supp for me.

Yesterday's workout: 3x12
Squats: 280
DB Rows: 95
DB Bench 95
Seated Calf Raises: 165
Cable Tricep Pushdowns: 150
External Rotations: 25
Arnold Presses: 65

Squats were awesome! Felt psyched and fresh: I just smashed them - my rhythm was fast and ROM all the way to the bottom for all 3 sets. Definite improvement over last week.

DB Rows finally increased to equality with DB bench - my hand is feeling great and man, were my arms and back tight from these.

Saw an increase in weight in most of my movements, which is very satisfactory. Stamina's up, left the gym feeling worked but good - endorphins were flowing like crazy and I could tell. Had a nice "high."

Good stuff R. I'm on my second tub of IA due to doing the same thing. It's definitely a staple for me now too. Nice pressing man. All your stuff is up above what i do at this time.

Thanks Hg, you've been a real encouragement throughout this entire log! I realize you're a rep and part of it's your job, but I still appreciate it.

As for the pressing, you're looking pretty darn big in your avy, I'm sure you can move plenty of weight yourself. :)

I ain't even half of what I look my man. But I got it on the inside and I'm working my way up.

We are all works in progress, man, but what's on the inside, like you're talking about, makes all the difference.

I thought I was going to have a nice relaxed weekend: one workout and a LOT of relaxation. Instead, got a call yesterday afternoon from a friend, it was a last minute invitation to a charity fundraiser banquet. Anyways, long story short, watched a bunch of rich people buy stuff for charity that I would never want GIVEN to me. Still enjoyed a fantastic dinner in a nice atmosphere for free though! Also, visited some friends unexpectedly today, and I am just beat in result.

I will post yesterday's workout, but my final review will have to wait until I can give it the concentration it deserves.

Saturday's Workout: 6x6
Front Squats: 245
Ss'd w/ Skull Crushers: 150

Cleans: 190
Ss'd w/ Hammer Curls: 70lb DBs

Incline Bench: 255
Reverse Curls: 95

Kept all weights the same as last week and increased volume to 6sets. This really seemed to do the trick - geez, I was drenched with sweat and dead when I was done. I went into the workout determined not to compromise on anything (no substituting in the smith machine for my front squats or rest longer it took to catch my breath). In result, my determination paid off - all six sets of front squats were perform free bar and had no pain in my hand and I blew through my sets with tenacity. On every movement the sixth set seemed incredibly taxing, but I'm taking a week off lifting now, and with that in mind I pushed myself to completion.

On this workout, I found IA particularly refreshing. It seemed like every time I pulled a swig from my bottle I was struck by the taste and rejuvenating feel I got from it. Endurance was high, and muscular stamina stuck with me to the end, but that's been the standard since I started IA, so no news there. I'm just sad I'm running low on the stuff. :(

Keep an eye out, I'll post that review tomorrow!

Looking forward to the review R. That part I just quoted seems to discuss the effects quite well especially with the increased volume you did. I have found more volume is definitely the key to my growth as well. Nice work!

Final Review

Universal's Intra-Aid is the best peri-workout product I have tried to date. In my opinion, it surpasses Xtend, Xcell, Bulk BCAAs, EAA, and any combination of the above with dextrose, WMS and Malto.

Intra-Workout Nutrition is a staple in my regimen - I try never to lift without it. But nothing has so drastically effected my workouts while drinking it as Intra-Aid.

Mental Stamina, Muscular Endurance, and sustained energy all had large postive impacts. Setting PRs over the course of each workout became expected, almost mundane even. There were workouts while I was sipping on Intra-Aid, where I would move from one lift in a superset to the next with no rest and then back for the entire workout - this is unprecedented in my lifting experience.

Intra-Aid has no stimulant, so increased functionality is not from a burst of caffeine or some other similar ingredient. Improved and extended performance arises from your body receiving specific nutrients, vitamins and minerals continuously as you exert yourself.

I pushed myself hard over the course of the last month; my diet was rock-solid and I never missed a meal, or a workout. Everytime I lifted I made progress, either by increasing weight, sets, reducing rest time, or a combination of those three. Despite this, muscle soreness remained at a minimum and dissipated quickly - a fact to which Intra-Aid made a large contribution.

It was a true pleasure to test this product and it has a permanent place in my supplement cabinet from now on. It tastes great, works even better and, dependent upon your workout schedule, a single tub could last from 5-8wks.

To the Universal Reps - B Con, Hoomgar, U Rep - Thank You Very Much! Intra-Aid Kicks @ss and so do all of you!

WOW. Great review. Thanks for the honest feedback R. Great log. We will be using your review in our official review thread.

Good stuff R. As B said, you will see links to your log in our official review thread. It was good to see the results you got from using the product and it's nice to know we were able to introduce you to the brand this way. Don't hesitate to ask questions if you want to know something about any of our other products. This goes for the Animal line as well. B Con, Myself and the company reps are here to help any way we can.

Congrats on all the PR's throughout this log my man :)
