I wouldn’t skip the post workout shake. Your body needs that as soon as possible so that you don’t become catabolic. Make sure you’re using a whey blend.
What is your pre-bed meal? A lot of people don’t realize that protein synthesis happens in deep REM sleep and you need a slow absorbing...
I would try natural first. Increased hydration and low/medium intensity cardio. Liver tabs would be my next step. I'm not exactly sold on the idea of supplements that are meant to increase appetite. Haven't really heard many success stories from them.
To some degree you are bound by your genetics, but that doesn't stop you from being the biggest your frame will allow. Most of us will never reach our largest size for our frames. Being "big" is your own perception. I have seen 150lb ninja warriors who seem big until you see their stats. Using...
Good advice so far. One thing most college kids don't do is hydrate properly and get enough sleep. The bulking triangle is Nutrition/Hydration- Workout - Sleep. Without any of those you wont make the right gains.
I would also buy shelled peanuts in bulk. They are unsalted and a pain to open...
Classic plateau. You need to up your calories as mentioned and don't be afraid to take a week off. Your issue is really genetic. Some people will end up with a round stomach with increased calories. Make sure you increase your medium intensity cardio in the beginning. If you just want weight and...
Looks good. I would say run what you have and have fun. I love Epistane. I just finished a cycle and got bloodwork done that I will post if someone is interested. Only thing that came back slightly off was my LDL cholesterol.
This is very true. I would say this is a great substitute when it comes to bargain bulking. The GOMAD diet was ok, minus the fact that it is increadly hard to drink a gallon of whole milk and a gallon of water for hydration every day. That was of course my problem, others may have been able to...
I buy lemons buy the bagful and cut them up and squeeze them into my water. It does make it easier to drink since I am not a water person either. Lemons are cheap and have Vitamin C.
You need to be prepared for these cravings. An occasional whopper isn't bad, but just getting back into this game you should be way more motivated right now. Have the right foods on hand at your house to beat these cravings. You don't always have to have greek yogurt or tuna, but be creative...
Agreed with that was mentioned so far. Get some pasta too, its a great carb choice and is really inexpensive. The only supplement I would go with is creatine, but I've bulked for years without out as well. For your pre-bed protein you can get cottage cheese and yogurt, both inexpensive and mix...
I haven't read the article but from what I have learned over the years was that alcohol actually blunts testosterone production, which is why it is frowned upon for weight lifting. I will try to find the articles that I read years ago that actually gave facts to prove this.
