    Kidney transplant

I should be asking you for advise! Not quite 4 months for me. I had some complications (lymphocele) that resulted in first a JP Drain installed and finally another surgery with a double fenestration into the peritoneum to drain the lymphatic fluid. So to some degree I’m still recovering...

    Kidney transplant

Careful with the White Willow Bark. It’s a natural NSAID. Unfortunately, Tumeric is a no go if you are on Tacrolimus. Invalid Link Removed

    Kidney transplant

I would agree to avoid this personally. Since you have a new kidney, you have likely already shed any water weight you may have had. Additionally, diuretics could alter electrolytes one way or another (whether or not they spare potassium) Stick with your Rx’d water intake. As you know, you need...

    Kidney transplant

I have. Very recently actually, December 2019. On PD for 14 months before that. In terms of supplements, you have to be VERY careful since you are taking Tacrolimus. As you have already been instructed, no grapefruit, seville oranges, star fruit, Earl Gray Tea, etc. all of these can effect...

Anyone worried if Corona virus keeps spreading the gyms will shut down?

And let me clarify my last statement. There are thousands of patients who are beating cancer but have weakened immune system. Likewise, thousands of transplant patients who are otherwise healthy aside from the immunosuppressants they take (for life) to stop rejection. I can get behind “the good...

Anyone worried if Corona virus keeps spreading the gyms will shut down?

Nor cancer patients, transplant patients, etc. A colleague of mine said his wife’s cousin who is 35 with diabetes contracted it, went into a coma and had a stroke. Pretty sure there are a few people in the West that have diabetes.

Anyone worried if Corona virus keeps spreading the gyms will shut down?

True, but I guess you have to ask yourself if you care about those who are more vulnerable. If you do, then maybe making sure you don’t contribute to it’s spread may be worth the personal sacrifice of some inconveniences

    Peptides in NASAL SPRAYS??

Several studies have used this method as an alternative to expensive, pinned GH mostly in children. I believe the consensus is that its not as effective as sub q but still works. Personally, I can only see this as viable if you’re trying to hide your usage for whatever reason. Otherwise, sub q...

    What to stack with DCP?

Agreed on both suggestions. In my experience, Supernova/Hypernova takes a bit longer to show results but does work. VII-KT seemed to work rather quickly. Both were used on college aged athletes. My guess that at 50, the VII-KT will work even better. Solid recommendations.

Why is Creatinine and Uric Acid High?

What is your BUN? Does your blood work indicate your eGFR? If not, find an online calculator and plug in your info.

Bacterial or viral pneumonia? I believe bacterial can put you at higher risk of post infection heart issues.

Limiting TOR action responsible for longer life expectancy

I would add that the amount of mTOR antagonism in these studies is far greater than the amount of mTOR agonism we can achieve through exercise, diet, supplements, etc. I would wager that if the percentage of antagonism was in equal proportion to what can be achieved in agonism, the life...
