crazy weather this year. we got a little rain and now there's none in the forecast again lol.
I bet you carry it a hell of a lot better than your avg 5'8" 220lb dude !!
I'm always shocked...
That really sucks, but it also means they will be looking better next year after the cleaner sand get shipped in. At least that seems to be what happens in Galveston when ours gets washed out.
Good luck with the transformation challenge! Always good to have that extra little motivation to kick into high gear.
East Coast shoreline got slammed with the recent storm. A lot of our beaches...
I hadn't looked at the forcast for the weekend but yeah, I am right here at the end or beginning of the red IE 5 inch expectations.
Looks like we will be getting wet for sure, and likely some...
Yeah this is going to do some damage all over. Even up are way they got us in flood watches for 3-6 inches depending on the storm track.
I’ve read some things saying 20 trillion gallons of water...
oh man not very much at all, like maybe up to an inch on each side. definitely opens up the hips to grab a bit more depth but challenges the adductors more for sure.
down a bit today to 205.00 on the scale. I think my happy safe place right now would be 198. something sub 200 seems more manageable without sacrificing too many calories/size for strength...
Congrats on that PR and if you are bouncing out of the bottom on the squat you will get a lot more out of a small pause rather than using the stored energy to spring you out of the bottom.

I’m going to vote on 180-185 as your opener. In a suit you will have a little more spring, in a comp you will as well. If you wrap your knees instead of sleeves that will give an extra 5% as well...
you never know, without knowing how many dudes are showing up in your weight class or what their experience level is... my first oly event I crushed an amazing opener on snatch and couldn't figure...
[emoji817] the right environment can definitely provide an extra level of being amped up!
I just wish I had someone objective there who could help me decide #s based on how my lift looks and how...
You might also find it surprising of what you can put up under pressure and with a crowd. Don’t know in a setting like that but at a public gym like going for a max effort and I would ask for a...
Ah, got it! Well, eff me I guess then, as I am assuming I will come in with some of the lightest sets, with fairly close weight attempts to one another. So theoretically, I could be up 3 back to...
these weights are making more sense to me compared to your bodyweight, its good to see you pushing heavier squats and I see no notes on injury/pain issues. I'm really excited/curious to watch...
Most of the time I think the standard is that an opener should be something you can do for 3 reps. Seeing this I would likely opt for 175ish, or plan to do the full jump from 165 to 195 and treat...

I don't have tons of recommendations, sounds like you have a decent plan on the 165, 185, 205 as a skeleton plan. If 165 flies, consider the 30lb jump, and if that flies you pick from there. If...
I love the thing. Can work deeper on bench due to the camber. Helps my wrist significantly with the more neutral grips. Not sure if it contributed a bit to this chest/coracobrachialis strain...

Good positive day today. Following up on the heavy dead’s Friday, high output on squats Monday. Still fighting the chest strain so I skipped the Monday/Tuesday chest and added some back into...
