Picking up women at the gym

Have you tried picking up a girl at the gym before ?

It's a hard situation. I could care less about the girl having a boyfriend. My philosophy with that has always been that if she likes you more, she will drop the other guy. If they aren't married, they don't belong to anyone and are technically single. I've asked some girl friends of mine what they thought about guys picking them up at the gym and there was only one scenario that they didn't mind it...if they never saw them anywhere else; and that's understandable. If the only place you see them is at the gym, then you have no other options. The problem is women think when they are at the gym is when they look their worst, and in that case don't like when guys hit on them there; and to me, that's completely retarted and without logic. If a guy is hitting on you when you look your worst, should it not be flattering? Bleh...

There's 2 issues I have:

1) The fact that girls at the gym may not have "put on their face", is often supercompensated by the fact that they are not wearing very much clothing. Usually a tank top and some incredibly short, kinda tight shorts or capri's. I gotta be honest, I think the whole female workout attire is kind of hot.

2) Cut your hair. (Sorry, I have to give every guy with long hair a hard time 'bout this).
 
Had mixed results in the gym. Usually, it's better to be casual with them a few times before junping into, "what are you doing later."

i also feel I need to point out,that frame of mind is how alot of bros get their teeth knocked out...I'm married cause I found me a winner...but when I was single(not long ago)My thoughts were if she's was suckin' my d1ck,she is mine,and if you thought otherwise,we had a serious problem,well you did anyways...

I'll be honest,as I go throughout my day,I just look for an Opportunity to start some **** with anyone who thinks they have something to say....I'm an a$$hole,and love to show my a$$,I like to take my hot a$$ wife "out"and usually find myself tellin her,go put on something w/ more cleavage,show some nipples or something..It ups the odds of me getting to start some sh1t later that night when some drunk punk decided to open his mouth and say some dumb sh1t to her,I fvckin' LOVE IT !!!:twisted:But I'm far from normal;)

I could care less about "boyfriends." If it's not your wife, she's not your property. It's not like I force the girl to go out with me. That's up to her, and if a guy feels the need to get into a fist fight just to keep his girlfriend from going out with another dude, sounds like he should fix his relationship. If a girl leaves a dude for another guy, it wasn't going to last anyways. It's almost like I did the other guy a favor.

I can see where you would get upset. I wouldn't be happy either; however, look at all the women that are in relationships; relationships that won't last 90% of the time. It seems any cool chick I meet has a boyfriend and I'm sick of just saying "Ok, well, she's unavailable." Only to find out two months later that she broke up with the other guy and is already seeing someone else.

And just to add, that picture is two years old and my hair is short now. Everyone has to grow their hair out once in their life.

I just like to show a simple respect to fellow bros cuase' theres' nothin' I hate worse than a player hater..when I ws your age,I was at this chicks house bangin her one night,just met her,never even asked about a BF or anything,like you I didn't care,we got fvcked up and I was bangin it all into the night,then about 3 am we were chillin and out of the fvckin blue this dude climbs in the 2nd story window with a loaded .45 Cal...he started smackin her around and runnin on about this/that...wavin' his gun around,he was cracked out and drunk as ****...I was young,didn't barely know her,b1tch should've told me she had a crazy anarchist boyfriend 2 houses down..but she left that part out,I'm just saying,you might think you are on top of things and happy cuase your hittin' it or tryin to,then BAM,out of nowhere,you get schooled'...It will happen,I'm lucky that drunk crackhead didn't shoot us all that night..he kept callin' hisself the "Big Boss" and he was gonna shoot me with his cross bow and sh1t...Its a hell of a funny story now,but it wasn't funny that night at all...It actually had pissed me off more that this chick was bangin' this freak and I had just hit it....lol

i agree with you sorta, but im a really respectful person so stuff like that does not float my boat .

True, a girl in a happy relationship would never leave her guy or do something dumb to jeopardize it, so a flirtatious guy is not an issue. i have no problem with guys coming up to me and hitting on me, its what guys do, but im quick to tell them im very taken and if the flirting persists than, i turn into a ***** fast.

if i was going to leave my significant other, i wouldn't leave him for someone who was blantantly disrepectful to my relationship situation because i think it speaks volumes about how they could be if they were in a relationship with me.

Yeah nothing like hooking up with a gyrl that will leave the one she is currently with. Nothing like a women with character, integrity, and morals...I think that is why I find pornstars, strippers, and hookers so attractive and say to myself. "You know she would make a good wife".

honestly no. i get very bored with men. kwyck is the only one who's been able to keep me entertained. i have to be with a guy who can hold an intelligent conversation but at the same time has a sense of humor, and that's difficult to find.

I think 12 billion being written in text is unappealing. Actually seeing stacks of money visually is much different.

agreed. money is very appealing when seen in real life. i have no doubts that i could marry a wealthy guy. my dad actually tried to set me up with a few of his friend's wealthy sons, appealing yes, but i honestly dont care.

dont get me wrong, money is very important and love alone doesnt cut it. i'll be making great money for a girl in 10 months and kwych better do something productive in his life eventually (hes becoming a doctor) because i actually hate being the breadwinner.

I agree wholeheartedly with this. If a guy left his girl for me then when the next best thing comes along he will be gone. Who wants to start a relationship with someone who will be gone when a pretty face goes by?

Someone who's fickle and niave. I guess it all depends on the maturity of who we're talking about getting 'picked up' at the gym.

If a girl has already has a boyfriend, what kind of sick mind would she have going to the gym in attempt of being 'picked up' in the first place? Most 'girls' who do have a boyfriend can do better, but are oftentimes too insecure to think they deserve or can get better.

I don't know, depending on how hard he's trying, I would probably watch and laugh to myself as the fella gets shut down. Maybe with some live commentary from a friend. If you're concerned about every little guy that wants your girl, not only does that show an immense lack of trust, but it's gonna be mental torment (especially if she's not completely disfigured).

When things get 'uncomfortable' for your girl, there's a time to step in and 'control' the situation. But ya gotta believe at least 9 times out of 10 your girl can take care of herself.

Agreed good posting. Its how your other half handles it. If she is commited to you she will shut him down. If he gets rude or pushy thats when you step in.

I seriously count down the days until my younger sister turns 21 just so I can take her to the bar and watch guys hit on her. It sounds horrible, but she's the kinda girl who wouldn't stop and shutting them down: she'd flat out embarass them, and rip on them with me the next day.

oh i`m sure they can take care of it, BUT it comes down to the DISRESPECT thing. if a guy hits up on your girl and he knows she has a man then thats a big " :FUfinger: " to the boyfriend. and thats why you have to beat his fcuking head in. it has NOTHING to do with the girl. :nono:

But that's not at all what I'm talking about. I'm not saying I'll go up to a chick and constantly hit on her to the point where she is uncomfortable; Hell, I'm not even talking about hitting on her. I'm just simply talking about a chat and maybe going to get a cup of coffee. If it developed into anything at all then her relationship was obvioiusly not going anywhere. If have a good conversation with her, then I've done all I wanted to do. The rest is up to her. If your girl broke up with you and you knew she didn't cheat on you sexually and told you that it was simply because she didn't enjoy you or your personality and wanted to be with someone else, then who's to blame? I'm not a shallow guy at all. I don't try to go pick up chicks just because they have a boyfriend; however, attractive girls with excellent personalities tend to be hard to come by, and if I find one that I like and she has a boyfriend, no offense to any of you, I'm going to go for her. Not to mention, think of how many relationships you've been in and the percentage of those that you actually enjoyed. I'd say for me I enjoyed 60% of them, and the other 40% I was looking for an excuse to break up. I figure 40% is enough of a statistic for me to talk to pretty much any girl in hopes that even if she has a boyfriend, the chance that they will break up in the near future is close to a coinflip.

And maybe this world pretty much sucks because people think it is easier to just split rather than actually WORK on a relationship. So, you will just maybe tip that balance towards her leaving?

Still, it shows disrespect towards the fact that she is in a relationship...almost a sabotage on your part.
