protein drink before bed

It will help if you are a hard gainer. Try to pick a slow digesting blend like casein or even cottage cheese and avoid saturated fat or carb intake before bed.
 
I take in 1.5 scoops of ON casien, and some bcaas in 16 oz of skim milk plus 1.5 oz of almonds before bed...

...it'll help.
 
Nope but Working out and a good diet and enough protein throughout the day and Then a shake at night might. Use caisen in the night shake it takes longer to digest. A shake alone at night will make you have a good pee in the morning.
 
Lately for me it's been 2 scoops EAS whey, about 1.5 servings low fat cottage cheese and a handful of almonds. I work out late though so this meal is vital for me.
 
I'd say it's very important. Syntha 6 is my favorite before bed protein right now. Mix it with milk, have a little natural peanut butter, and you're getting a nice dose of fat and protein, with few carbs.
 
I try to get my wife to take some additional protein before bed..but she's stubborn.
