How much do you pay..

To train? I am starting to look at gyms in my area, and just curious what kind of $$ a month you all are paying.. Also do they have weights at the gym, or strictly MMA?

Really want to focus on BJJ, and some Muai Thai. Not really interested in ever fighting, just want to train!

Thanks for any help!

I pay $125/mo (unlimited classes) at a JKD school. We do Jun Fan (JKD), JKD Grappling (a mix of a ton of different systems), Muay Thai, Silat (Serak), Western Boxing, Filipino Kali and Wing Chun. No weights just a ring, a mat, and a bunch of bags.

140 a month unlimited with a 3,000 sqft weight room, BJJ Boxing Kickboxing MMA striking MMA take downs/wretsling,
they also open @ 7 and close around 11 monday through sat and 7-12 on sunday and my son gets to train as well

The class that I am signed up for is 50/month per person. It is JJ and striking. 4 nights a week...2 hour classes. Some guys at work are BlackBelts in JJ and have been doing it for some time now locally.

damn 140 a month, that is alot. i hope you take advantage of their classes and go three times a day

well that for me and my son and thats @ cobra kai jiu-jitsu so i get to train with guys like kendall groves and joe stevenson so i think i lock out a pretty sweet deal, if it was just me it would have been cheaper but its for 2 people

thats a great deal. I have heard that Joe is a good guy. Great fighter too

I pay $80 a month and that is for BJJ, wrestling, judo, striking, and conditioning 5x/wk. I am about to start instructing the conditioning aspect since cardio is starting to become a problem area. The guy doing it now used to be in the Marines, but he does not know how to effectively implement a true strength and conditioning routine.
