Check out these lil doggies. A guy out here who does obedience training, and protection work has one, and they are pretty ****in cool for a small dog. They are super small, and all muscled up.Most are like 20-25lbs i believe.

Crazy lookin lil bastards..lol They have a ton of drive too.

We got Mick as a puppy when I was like 14 - now Im nearly 32 and he just passed on. Crazy - he was around for so long I think we just figured he'd live forever.

One thing is for sure, a Black Lab/Irish Setter mix is the dog breed for me...I'll most certainly look to get another puppy in a few years.

Sorry for your loss. Putting a cherished pet down is one of the most difficult things to do. Before we got our schnauzer we had to put down our previous dog. He was a rescue that was irredeemable, but we kept him for 8 years. Though I wasn't very fond of him, it was still hard to do. He bit my wife on the face for the second and last time.

I want to get into some weight pull.

I was getting into some protection training with my lil blue girl, but haven't been out in a while since it is so hot. Will likely resume in the fall/winter.

That is about it.

Sorry for your loss bro...is she old in that pic? I can see the fur is turning gray around her face...my dog went gray too as he got on in years.

Thanks, man. Yeah, she was probably about 10 there. Died at 14. Her last couple years, she started getting tumors various places, started losing mind (seeing things), losing her bladder control, etc. Then she started really deteriorating and we just had to put her to sleep.

I am sorry for your loss. I know what you are going through and I send you my prayers. A while back we had to put down one of our dogs due to Parvo.
 
Fireproof my prayers go out to you as well. I swear all this talk about losing our loved ones is making me hate Vick that much more esp since I have 2 pits.
 
Thanks everyone. As far as crazy or mellow, would ya beleive both? lol He LOVES people, he's really friendly, and he's the most playful dog i've ever had, smartest too. I'm not sure about the % of wolf he is, i actually got him from the humane society where they just told me he was a white shepard. My sister used to work in a vets office, and she says he looks like he could be as much as half. I don't really tell the locals he's got wolf in him, but all the neighborhood kids call him "that wolf dog". lol
 
I posted a question about giving my Bully Cissus. The response I got back was a positive one. Anybody else given their dogs Cissus?
