Bro i'll admit the yankess are playing well right now, but the key being that the yankees haven't played any contenders in their streak outside cleveland(who had been in a slump prior to that). I'm personally glad that it has become interesting, because a blowout is boring for me and the game itself.......when it really comes down to it though you can't stay hot forever, and you boys have one hell of a august and september ahead......The reality is the sox have depth in all areas of their team and it will carry them all the way through the playoffs. :clean:....that's right chad i said it....:hammer: ....:cheers:....oh and as i write this the sox just won 2-1 in the bottom of the ninth....and the yanks are down 12-0 in the 9th.....tee hee.....

I think you meant papelbon....That's my boy.....i met him 2 weeks ago at the sox game in tampa.....we have the same first name and all that's why we roll the way we do!

Rough day Yankee fans LOL. 12-0 on the day when you're supposed to play for Phil Rizzuto seems like a bit of a letdown but there's plenty of games left. I don't know if you guys listen to JT The Brick's radio show or not but he's a huge Yankees fan and he was blasting them on nat'l radio saying he wanted to see a head roll for this loss LOL. He highlighted the fact that they dishonored Phil by getting shut out at home against the Orioles.
