Im thinking Jay as well but i have not seen ANY pics of Ronnie lately. Toney Freeman looks really good tho he might just bump Victor back. Freeman is my shocker. I have a hard time with picking so im not going to unless I have to. haha
 
I believe its either going to be Jay Cutler or Victor Martinez. I'm almost willing to bet its going to be Vic. He's been getting a lot of momentum and hype. Cutler's just got his first win in so atleast he's already had a chance to win, but I wouldn't be surprised if the IFBB sorta starts to slowly push Ronnie out. Plus he's getting older too.

So yeah, you heard it straight from Reaper's mouth: Vic Martinez.

I really wish Markus Ruehl and Dennis James would quit the IFBB. Markus will never be a winner at anything unless he is competing against amateurs, and I'm wondering when that alien in Dennis's stomach is gonna come out. Its spreading his ab muscles apart.
 
I hope Jay wins it again, but it'll be interesting to see where my boy Troy places this year. He's supposed to be coming in bigger and he was def looking huge a month ago at the AZ.

Well i got the list of qualified Mr. O competitiors in the newest edition of Flex. It said Phil but maybe he's not wanting to do it??? Do you have any info on that Reaper? I didnt see Branch or Troy Alves either.
 
Jay or Vic...I love Jay's attitude and personality. But Vic is a Jersey boy, so I'm really in the air with this one.

Oh well, If I don't get there, atleast BB.com is having a free webcast and I won't have to pay for PPV...

I should have just put Jay, RC, Vic, and TF. That will be the top 4 if Heath is out.

Branch Warren, Dennis James, Troy Alves, Phil Heath, Desmond Miller, Kai Greene...all out.


And I don't think Gunter has even qualified yet.
 
as much as i like TF i dont think he has a chance of top 3. Most competitors are battling for 4th place. Jay will win it, then ronnie, then Vic. same as last year
 
Phil isn't up. I checked the Mr. Olympia website. Gunter said he was gonna sit this one out so that's that with him. He took 10th last year and 4th the year prior. Talk about a big step down.

Even though Gunter's physique isn't the greatest he's a pretty friendly person.

Hopefully Toney takes it. We all know that Toney would be the best Mr. Olympia.

i was going to do something like that but im not so sure (about anything that is) but Hidetada Yamagishi 5th huh? wow. youre dissing my boy The Blade....Naw but you may be right looks like a good prediction. The russian Sergey looks damn good next to Ronnie and Jay he may be a surprise for people.
 
I expect Hidetada to place higher too. I think he was overlooked kinda like Toney Freeman was in his earlier years.

Then he was like, 'I'm winning the Arnold for a 3rd. Yeah that's right you heard it from me.'

Hm, he lost. Looks like he's going to compete in the Olympia. That guy needs to get off his damn high horse.

controversial..........u got Melvin pretty far down there PI.

What ever happened to David Henry. The guy just disappeared.
 
Dave always comes in looking shredded. He's just too tiny and the judges can't see him. I've always seen him as a very overlooked bb'er, but he never places high b/c of his size which sucks.
 
True, I liked Henry...there really aren't any short guys in the lineup.

Yea, Melvin is low, but so is Dareem...

I think the young guys like Hide, Silvio and Wolf are going to have good showings and push guys like melvin down.

alot of people are sleeping on freeman! i think hes a bigger threat than most believe. im going to say vic or jay. ronnie... time to let it go
 
i think so too motive. Freeman has size and great conditioning while still having a 31 inch waist. Im going with Jay although it would be something if ronnie came in shredded meat and completely awesome. doubt it tho

There are a few theories...I personally think it has more to do with diet than anything else...

..but with that being said, large amount of HGH and A A S could be the culprit as well.
 
lets face it... if freeman is at his best theres no beating him. his height and size with that little waist... no contest. the problem is he hasnt found his best yet.
i would love to see jay win again. ive met him a few times and hes by far the best role model for body building.
vic... well unfortanetly the Olympia is alot about size. i think vic is more of an arnold classic winner
 
I'm still with Freeman. He's got an extremely good overall physique minus the extended gut. He also is 6'2" with his X-frame, small joints, and good legs....which is hard for taller bodybuilders.


I think Toney should be Mr. Olympia. His physique does not have many downsides.
 
He's been battling the bulge recently too...

...I like the guy, but i hate distended stomaches...

You guys are winning me over to the freeman side.
 
motive-

Every single one of those IFBB men are not healthy. Esp not around Mr. Olympia time when the drug use increases.
 
I believe the Gh gut has more to do with insane amounts of food they eat along with the massive amounts of weight they push over the years. i think it's the body's way of adapting to the increased loads etc moreso than GH but then again it's an uneducated guess :)

Phil Heath looks great and is my choice to best looking physique.
 
I'd love to see Ronnie do it one last time but I highly doubt it. Hope Cutler does not, I'm just not a fan. I voted for Coleman, but I'm pulling for Freeman, hes one of my faves as of current. David Henry has an amazing physique, sucks shorter guys like him and priest get overlooked! Don't expect him to win, but I didn't see Branch Warren anywhere in this thread.
 
There we go LiftNDestroy, Ronnie is (for now) the best there ever was. I think last year was something that needed to happen in his life for him to adapt this year. I got Ronnie, Cutler, and Badell. You're gonna say I'm crazy for putting Badell in third but I think that last year was just a fluke for him and he'll be back to his old form this year. Vic is a great contender but I think that he needs a few more years for his muscles to mature.
