First Cycle (Help)

how old are you?
what is your experience with supplements?
how long have you been lifting?
what are your goals?

these are some things that would be helpful for others to know when asking for help on somthing like this

dude, how old are you?

why h-drol?

how long have you been working out?

Ditto to all these questions. And I hope to god your handle has nothing to do with your age. If you were born in 89, don't even think about it for at least 3 more years. Seriously.

Age-18
Weight-155
Suplements- Protein, creatine, bcaa, weight gainers, no pro-horomones.
Lifts-Sq-425(below Parallel),bp-315,deadlift-475,military press-205.
I am trying to get stronger, and bigger. My friends all about the same age, and strength, they started taking CEL H-drol, and CEL m-drol know I am getting blown out of the water. I have changed my mind, and Im not going to take anything. Thanks though

Unlike your idiot friends, you're making the right choice. Taking any steroid at your age could cause irreparable damage to your endocrine system, among other things. Besides, at age 18, you don't need anymore testosterone to build muscle.

On another note, if you're really 155 pounds and lifting the kind of weight you stated, you either have superhuman strength or you're lying. I've never heard of a 155 pound kid being able to lift like that. Either way, feel free to research, but stay off the juice until you're at least 21. Good luck.

You're 18, Weigh 155lb and squat 425? Really? You play football? and you bench 315? is that pounds? Are you a fireplug? You don't need steroids if you are pushing that much weight.

Yeah, this is about what I was thinking! And a 475 deadlift? Seems inflated to me. I was around D1 football players in the weight room in college. There were D-backs weighing around 160-170 who weren't lifting that much.

But if he's not blowing smoke up our *ss, then you're right, he has no need for steroids.

Well could be a lie but I know people that are strong like that. One of my friends just turned 19, he takes no protein, no supplements, never even seen a steroid/ph/ps or anything and he weighs about 160-170 and benches between 315-325, squats 590 and deadlifts around 450-500 I forget because it was last year when he did it, I don't know how much he's doing right now because I havn't worked out with him in a while.

Sweet bastard! You are 18, 155 pounds and can lift like that?!? Why would you take anything risky? You are already very strong if you aren't making those numbers up. Are you going to be in a competition? If not (even if you are) you don't need anything else.

155lbs squatting 425....your either confused on how much plates weigh...or your a strong freakish lil fella..haha..

i still can't see how the joints could support it as he is nearly completed his growing as an adult. this is one of the major things the body goes through at the beginning of any weightlifters journery in preparation to support more weight/poundages.

and yes 155 with a 315 bench seems so unlikely. i couldn't take ont 15 pounds more than that until i put 100 more lbs of weight on!

sorry dont mean to sound skeptic, but really...are these Smith machine squats, at 1/8 ROM....really, thats alot for your size. If this is all true, pack on the pounds, and compete brutha!

Seiously, this kid's got to be making it up. Or maybe he has repped some lower weight multiple times and tried to convert it to a one rep max. and f-d up the calculation? I don't know. He'd have to be a freak of nature to lift like that. Or maybe he's not really 155? Maybe he meant to put a 8 in the middle and hit the wrong key? Even if he's really 185, that's a lot of weight. But much more realistic than 155.

wha...wha...wha..what!!!! :toofunny:

Haha. You know it's bad when everyone is calling BS!

Come on kid, come clean. There's no need to lie about your results here because we're all trying to get bigger/stronger. You're barely old enough to vote, so don't feel like everyone expects you to bench 315. Sh*t I'm 29 and I can't even bench that, so who cares?

Ah, whatever...

This kid PM'd me asking about my above normal Testosterone lab results I posted... he basically has depression and thinks a Test booster and/or steroids will solve his problems. I told him he needs to see a doctor.

Reps to you for this. Hope he gets help.

You guys dont believe me fine I dont give a ****. I have been to teen nationals twice, USAPL (drug tested). I have lifted with some of the greatest lifters in the world. Sam Byrd, and Caleb Willams 740 sq at 148, tested, and in a world meet. In my gym those numbers are weak (my lifts not calebs). But dont worry I am not trying any pro-hormones, and I will continue to get stronger. I just thought it would be kick ass, to have super human strength, and me am my friends would be on the same level again. Peace

I also like how everyone is so fast to point the finger and call bull ****, why because it not normal, because I am stronger than them, and 50 lbs lighter, and 100% clean. Sucks you have garbage genetics. For the record I have never ever steped foot in a smith machine. That lift was raw belt, and knee wraps below parallel. I also know a guy that sq-600+, bp-425, and deadlifted 650 at 16 years, 230 lbs, and he has been tested a least 8 times. He is stroner than everyone on this site, but I guess thats a lie also. ??

Dude no need for a harsh reaction, and if you didnt care then why the need to be defensive and try to prove anything to us? Also I dont think people will really care about your friends and what they lift. Either way hope you figure out what you want to do and what ever it is good luck with it and hope it works out.

Grandiosity combined with irritability are tell-tale signs of depression... those are textbook symptoms. I hope you realize it, as the first step to recovering from a mental illness is admitting that you have a problem and that you need professional counseling. That fact that you asked me in private about boosting Testosterone levels while spilling the beans about your bad relationship with a girl (assuming it was a girl, and god forbid not a guy or a stuffed animal) that left you in your current mental state is a fairly clear indication that you're reaching out. ANDROGENS WILL NOT MAKE YOUR DEPRESSION GO AWAY. Look, you have a disease and it's not your fault. It can be successfully treated.

Many teenagers have self-esteem issues and want that "miracle in a pill" that makes them instantly look and feel better. I was your age once, and was no exception. I didn't like myself and spent much of my waking hours dreaming of being someone else. But after many years in the weightroom, many years of college education, many years of MMA training, the tables have turned. The people who I wanted to be like when I was 18, now wish they could have 50% of what I have now (okay fine, I'm chemically enhanced but my motivation and drive is 100% me). Just remember, the tortoise almost always wins the race -- it's one of the few childhood anectdotes that really holds true in life.

Good luck. And see a doctor! Or at least sit down and have a nice long talk with your parents.

This site is crazy, I was just really looking for an argument. I dont need all these people telling me, I have a problem. I am100% fine, and I dont have any problems. Havent any of you ever gotten down about a girl, I think it happends to everybody. I was thinking about test boosters long before, my coach says a real champion will do anything to win, as long as it complies with the rules, and regulations. I was looking for a way to get stronger, thats it. Talk about blowing something out of perportion, you guys are like women, making things into something its not. Well thanks for all the comments, and advice. I cant tell if you where trying to be smart ass, or if you really thought I had some serious head condition.Dont be mad because me, and my friends are stronger than you. Thanks anyway though.

I'd say that with numbers like you say, that until you go a few weeks with no improvement at all theres no point in looking at anything besides protein and creatine. You probably wouldn't get that much better results with a PH/designer than you are getting already, if you have packed on that sort of strength. You might even want to try some of the more "exotic" training regimens, like maybe the Dogcrap style

Oh, I know why this guy's story rang a bell in my head.

Several years ago I had some friends from a different town, and they were just going on and on about how much everyone at school could lift. Guys in highschool with 300+ benches, 450+ squats, etc.

Well I just couldn't believe it, and went to their gym one day. There was a guy "repping" 285 on bench. Except that he had a spotter on each side doing half the work for him. Turns out the school wasn't full of super-humans, just bad spotters.

:toofunny: happens in my gym all the time! then they get up and say "ya man i got 275 for 4" and the spotters did all the work.

Damn, the internet is the sh*t. Believe it or not, me and one of my boys just tandem deadlifted 1800 pounds:blink: Really though, if this kids numbers are true, which is not likely, than I can see why he would get upset with people calling him out. At the same time if you're that young and light and putting up numbers like that you should expect people to be skeptical. If you've competed, and have a coach and what not, I'm sure you have some youtube clips to share. Prove everybody wrong and post some vids of your lifts. I should've asked this first, are you like 5'5"?

No, I am not 5'5". I am like 5' 9", and I am real skinny (Ectomorph) but a little strong. I have tried several types of training, Westside, Metal Milita, Peridization, sheiko, Armaniean and many more. I have been training almost two years. Also as far as the hole bad spotters deal, all of high school lifters in my gym have made all american in USAPL, so that speaks for its shelf. I have the best coach in the world, and he can make any one strong. I mine look at me you couldnt even tell I lift but the numbers are not a lie.

:wtf:

You've got to be kidding me with this post. You've tried all those lifting styles and more in "almost 2 years?" Seriously, WTF? And it's impossible to lift the kind of weight you claim and be both "real skinny" and "a little strong." You're writing contradictions in every post dude. Skinny guys don't lift that kind of weight. That's because as they spend years lifting like crazy to get up to that weight, their muscles grow to compensate for constantly getting torn down.

The only way you can settle this is to post a video of you doing one of these big lifts. Until then, just give it a rest. Troll.

Heres a link-http://www.usapowerlifting.com/results/2007/2007_high_school_nationals.htm

My name is Mark Hollingsworth
I will be in the boys varsity class, in the 67.5 kg weight class. I will be 11 down on the list. Everything is in kg so convert it.

Sq-370
bp-265
dl-410
Thats was in a national meet where a had to lose 10 lbs to make weight, under nationals judges. I had 4 weeks to train for this meet.

Jeez, what does that Brandon Hare guy look like? 150lbs, doing 280 for BP, freaking 500lbs for squats. Christ and some of the records too. A 150lb 17 year old deadlifting 562 pounds. Amazing. Almost gives me a hernia just to read it.

If you really lift those numbers, then congratulations, you're on your way to having an awesome total...if not, I don't really care either...I'm just gonna say, do not take any PH's/PS, you can very easily end up screwing yourself up in the long run...it is definitely not worth it. Hold off until your endocrine system is fully developed, and 21 is not a "magic age," it's not guaranteed that the day you turn 21 it is developed. Believe me, it is best to wait. Goodluck with your training and goals.

Don't take it personal MEH89. People have to be skeptical, because there are so many liars out their. I believe you, you're not very tall, probably have good genes, a coach, those numbers are easily attainable. Which program did you like the best?

Alexander, I have tryed many styles on the bench, and only peridization on the squat, and deadlift. I really dont like those super advanced cycles. I just like to do something like this. This is for the benchpress.
Tuesday-
week
1 5x5 65%
2 4x5 70%
3 3x5 75%
4 3x3 80%
5 2x3 85%
6 1x3 90%
7 max
Every rep is paused. Then do some incline work(dumbells). Kill your triceps skull crushers, rolling triceps, french press, dumbell over head extensions. Try to hit a 5 rep max on every assistance exercise.

Friday
Then on the next day you bench do a three week wave.
Dumbell Presses, Super Wide Grip benches, then super close grip benches, work to a five rep max. More tricep work, and forearms.

Looks good. Do you usually do only one tricep movement after benching? I love the rolling tricep extension. That movement really put some size on my tri's. I usually do them Louie style, 8x8, with only 20 seconds rest between sets. Maybe you should start a workout log here, I'll definitely check it out. Having a bunch of strong dudes that are into powerlifting is a huge bonus. When I was in HS, most of the good athletes played tennis and basketball, so did I. Wasn't until much later that I started lifting. You've got a nice headstart.

This is right on. What do you care if I believe you or not? There are people making crap up on forums ALL THE TIME! Alexander is right. Although I don't agree that those numbers are "easily attainable," you aren't that tall, which can be a leverage advantage and maybe you have outstanding genes. OK, fine. What I'm picking up on, however, is a ton of insecurity, outlandish claims, general hostility, and a bunch of inconsistencies in you posts. Hence the skepticism. For example, you said before that you've only been training for "almost 2 years." Then you claim that you benched 200 when you were 14. Last I checked you were at least 17, unless you're making that up too. So, which is it? Have you been training for under 2 years, or for more than 3? See what I mean?

As for your PM, grow the fvck up. Like I'm going to get scared of somebody threatening me over the Internet. Really what's the point? Do what you want kid, knock yourself out. I really couldn't care less.
