I have a custom ap, and I want to access UPS, but need a socket to send XML. I might have to look into ColdFusion sending the XML back and forth?????

I have a buddy who is learning Java, I might have to hit him up again...

If it's a local app you can just write it out the a file and call the import/export.

you could use CF for that, it wouldnt be the worst thing. What is your app written in? and what does it currently output (or where does the data sit?)

Stone Edge and UPS worked very well together. The issues ranged from not importing at all to importing every order we ever had to everything printing overnight shipping....no int'l documents. It was just very frustrating. We went an entire week w/o shipping orders!

The UPS server?

And it always handled XML importing I believe, but I am using Flash, and I think there was an Issue. It was awhile, but I am developing a new version, and want to get it working this time.
