Kwik Karb Vs. Waximiaze

personally i don't trust anything that ids makes. there products never meet label claims. i wouldn't be suprised if there waximaize was just maltodextrin.go with nutraplanet. they're a standup company

:goodpost:

I bought some from Nutraplanet the other day. I got some other goodies with the money I saved. Go with someone you know about. Go with Nutraplanet.

I bought some Kwik Karb from NP when they had it on special w/ Xtend and have used it as a carb source a few times. Only used a few times because I love my shake with ground oats, I'm just weird like that lol :)

But I know Dsade and others have some mixes that use KK, and people have been happy with the results it seems.

KK is good stuff. I've used it and WMS from another bulk source. Both were the same, as far as reults, but KK was cheaper, and NP is more reasonable w/ shipping.

I would prob try the IDS product, too, but even if they were the exact same price, I'd go w/ the WMS, simply because it's unflavored and I like to mix it w/ Xpand, Fast Twitch or whatever other pre/post workout supp. I'm using at the time.

The fact that it's unflavored means it'll mix well w/ other things that are already flavored. i don't wanna mix my orange Xpand w/ fruit punch Waximaize, in other words.

thanks guys for all the help! another question are they slow digesting or fast digesting carbs? i decided im going with KWIK KARBS! your right np never lets you down!

vitargo is a much better product. kwik karb will give you huge amounts of gas, stomach cramps, and loose stool. normally - i like most np bulk products except for this one.

best to you. . .

I believe it's a slow digesting carb as far as being a complex carb, but the unique nature of it is that it leaves the stomach twice as fast as malto/dextrose, etc.

In the intestines, I'm pretty sure it's digested at the rate of a complex carb. i could be mistaken, but am pretty sure I read that when reasearching waxy maize starch.

I've never tried vitargo, but the main ingredient in the vitargo products is waxy maize starch. I've never had any gas, bloating or loose stool issues w/ waxy maize starch from either brand I've tried. It might be caused by other things you took it w/ or any number of other factors.

Never had any of these side effects, and you are the first to report them that I have seen.

nothing else change in my diet or supplement regimine. my partner had the same sides when he ran out of vitargo and i gave him the rest of my kwik karb.

i guess everyone responds differently.

one plus for the kk is that it disolves and mixes easier where the vitargo lumps. - i better add that just to be fair.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I had no problems with vitagro but kwik karb :dump:

Just picked up ProLab Carb Complex to add to my Muscle Milk. I have had it once so far. I am taking 5-8 days off for catchup and work is wearing on me pretty well. I think tomorrow or tue for sure i'll be back at it. Then it's hardcore gym time and eating until i leave the 24 for Florida:woohoo:

how is that true, vitargo is WMS isnt it?

ngredients:
Vitargo (patented sugar free high molecular weight [500.000 - 700.000] carbohydrate from Swedish waxy maize starch), pure pharmaceutical grade creatine monohydrate, natural and artificial flavors, citric acid, Osmosis Balancing Electrolytes (dipotassium phosphate, disodium phosphate, dimagnesium phosphate), silicon dioxide, sucralose, FD&C red 40

maybe something about the particular extract?

I'm glad I don't have these sides from KK

I had the exact opposite happen. I got those sides on Vitargo and Waxy was great for me.

Well I used the old Vitargo (exp. 08/07) for 2 weeks then switched to Waxy Maize and too be honest I like the Waxy Maize better.

Now the Waxy Maize may have been so good because I used the Vitargo for 2 weeks prior to Waxy. If this is the case it would suggest the 2 are the same. I'd go with the Maxy Maize from NP. 3.3lbs for $13.00 vs. 3.3lbs Vitargo for $50 (thats what I got it for i think)JMO

Damn....I think we need to double or triple our prices soon. Thoughts?

Dsade, what's w/ the new WMS I saw on NP. It looked like it might work out to be a bit cheaper than the actual Quik Karb version. is it the exact same thing, as I assume?

Are you talking about the brand name stuff? It works out to be slightly more expensive, I believe.

Still a great price, I will admit.

The main source of protein in that liquid whey product is collagen. Total junk protein source. Stick w/ gold old fashioned powder.

How do you know what % of protein comes from collagen as it is not reported?

INGREDIENTS: Pure deionized water, Actinase (patent pending blend of enzymatically hydrolyzed (predigested) collagenic protein isolate, whey protein isolate and casein protein isolate), malic acid, Myovol™l Complex (proprietary blend of leucine, valine, and isoluceine), all natural flavors, acesulfame-potassium, sucralose, blue 1 and red 40.
CONTAINS NO PRESERVATIVES

Have you tried micronized? There's many options and forms of creatine now, I'm sure one of them out there will agree with you and your stomach :duel:
