With spring trainning for baseball, and spring workouts dur to start soon, along with soccer I have this question.....

How would you dose Poseidon for 2-3hr workouts 2 times a day?

What i was thinking was takeing 1.5 quart water bottles and mixing 25/75 of gatorade to water. With about 2~3 servings of Poseidon and drink during the 1st training phase, then doing the same thing for the next training phase.

Does this sound like a good idea? Suggestions welcome......

How long between the 2 training phases?

This sounds like a good protocol to follow. I would suggest drinking a serving between the training phases as well, depending on the length of time between the 2 sessions.

Will one session be more challenging than the other? What time of day will the two sessions be performed? If one will be in the middle of the day, when it's much hotter, this could change your dosing protocol.

Usually an hour or so between sessions, with atleast one of the sessions beeing during the hottest part of the day. So dose somtihng like this

2~3 during hot sessions
-1 in between-
2 during evening or later

Is the garotade mix a good idea? I will also probably add 5~10 grams Glutamine to the mix also.
 
That looks good to me Distilled. The Gatorade shouldn't be a problem and glutamine would be fine. You think you could log this, or just give some general feedback as I think this will be a very good atmosphere for the benefits of Poseidon.

Yea Ill be happy to make a write up for you when I get back from spring training. I will be gone for about 10days so no internet access, but when I get back i'll be happy to make a log. Me and another team mate plan on using it. Im adding gatorade just for some carbs to help "hold me over" i guess.....get what I mean?

Last year all the guys crapped out about the 5th day. I'll use me vs. them as a measureing stick. Seeing how ive been injured for the last few weeks and am not as in good as shape as some are (but im def. no slouch) it'll be nice to compare.

The only thing is Nutra needs to get it instock and/or let me place and order soon.......

Your dosing protocol looks good...

I would be VERY interested in your feedback once you get a chance to post again. I think you will be very impressed with the results.

DW or anyone... have you mixed bulk BCAAs with Poseidon? I'm looking forward to running Poseidon + BCAAs in diluted Gatorade. Good luck DW.

Yep...always before my AM cardio. Sounds like a good mix with diluted Gatorade...

Go for it riskarb!! Poseidon goes good with anything especially those oh so good pre, during , and post supps.

Good stuff... initial reaction is better than I had anticipated. I have a very keen sense of taste and most mineral supps are tough to get down. Poseidon goes down easy. I tried it in isolation and have now added my BCAAs. Will let you know how it goes.

P.S. I like the red hue. ;)

Glad to hear that riskarb. Poseidon will stack very well with BCAA's. Keep us updated!

Yea...I don't know why, but everyone loves the red hue...myself included :)

Well I must be in a weird place cause when ever I take my bottle of mix poseidon with me to class and sip on during lectures I always get girls asking me,"Hey, what's the pink stuff." Which I very man-ly replie with," It's not pink!!:mad: It's B-12 baby!!":D

To the original poster I would take one serving BEFORE your first session.

IMO it is better to have it in your system before you get going.

This is what I do. 2 as soon as I get up. 2 more before my triathlohn training 2 more after my training and 2 more before bed.
