Thinning Hair

I lost faith in the FDA a long, long time ago as well. I think your right about what you said, about people putting to much faith in drug companies and MD's. I've always been skeptical of the whole practice.

Most guys dont study and take the word of the docs that prescribe and also the 2%...thinkin it wont happen to them...

As far as understanding hair loss/insecurity....I'd have to bet that you havent lost any hair....or you'd understand....

Ha! Maybe its because Ive already came to terms with my hairloss - I started shaving my head in highschool, been bald ever since ;)

Even back in my teenage years, I was always paranoid about taking any kind drug. My older brother was on propecia at the time(were all bald in my family) My hunch back then told me he was crazy for doing so.

Looks like DIM is very important part of TRT.
It may be beneficial to get doctor's opinion on:
what to take
how many pills
what other pills (TMG) how many.

I am also taking DIM, but when it is going to be my turn to talk to Dr John I hope I will get much more specific advice that I am reading from you, unless there is many more details that you did not included in your description.

Some people are taking very little DIM and claim that it is already too much, but Dr John recomends 300mg which is quite a lot. So there is some thing to think about.

You must be one of the lucky ones that look OK w/a shaved head....

I look like a criminal....wasnt an option for me....Although, I certainly wish that it had been....could have saved ALOT of time and money!!!!!!

I hear Dr Shippen will talking about the dangers of finasteride and some treatment options at the 15th Annual International Congress of Anti-aging Medicine.

kanecore i actaully had the same thing happen to me about two years ago. over the course of about 6 months i experienced a significant hair loss and small amount of gyno for no reason that i can explain. stress could have been a factor being that it happened during the beginning of my second deployment in iraq only being back in the states for 4 months from my deployment, well i had a broken hand, and was sleep walking. i have done one very short cycle of steroids in my life which i ended with 6 0x0 and tribulus and was more than a year before it started. in the last 6 months i started using spectral dnc and taking saw palmetto just in case as a preventive, but in two years my hair hasnt moved a bit and if anything has thickened. being that i just recently started modeling and no one has given me any slack for it, i must be fooling the general public regardless. i have a feeling it will come back again in the next few years but hey who knows.

Having used Propecia (finasteride), it plays with your DHT levels and I recommend you not to use any finasteride products. They will mess you up, I speak from experience buddy. ! For, after use, I have noticed certain effects of fatigue, muscle mass and density issues, body fat. I have always been @ 9% body fat and nw at 12.5%. Trust me finasteride is posion and DHT has good effects on ur body also. So please mate, when I felt exactly like you, but do not take finisteride. side effects not worth it.
