Finally going over to the Dark Side (w/3-AD)

Lifelong natty here, but at age 60 I need something to help put on muscle quick and battle sarcopenia but not suppress. Enter Enhanced Labs 3-AD. All the benefits of a prohormone without the sides. I am ordering later today and it marks my entry into the Dark Side, albeit not very far into the Dark Side.

I know nothing about it.... but I gotta believe if it has a noticeable effect on true muscle mass, its also going to suppress something. Nothing is free

3ad is a steroid. It should do something. If it doesn’t it’s either fake, or you’re a non responder. If it does do something (isn’t fake) it’s going to have some type of negative feedback (it’s suppressive)

The “no negative side effects” thing is a marketing ploy. If it interacts with the androgen receptor at any meaningful dose it’s going to cause some form of suppression. People have bloods posted on here to prove it.

I find a lot of positive benefits from 3ad personally . I also find the sides to be very mild. That doesn’t mean that I could just eat a bunch of it year around though and it wouldn’t tank my natural test levels or not cause some sort of health issue. For me it’s a nice little trt add on that doesn’t really cause any major health issues if I keep the length of use reasonable (I do get some intermittent acne on it and it slightly skews my lipids)

I have seen posts on here from the 3ad patent owner I believe questioning the enhanced labs product for what it’s worth . There was another product the patent holder reccomended and vouched for it being accurately dosed for what it’s worth

Curious why about the need to put on muscle quick and battle sarcopenia part .

I like 3ad, but might be some other things more conducive to your goals. Even a solid trt dose might be if you aren’t on it. By giving more detail people can probably provide more help

So I took a driving job during the pandemic as I was displaced from my career. I spent the majority of my days behind the wheel and with the gyms closed fell into an awful pattern of eating fast food and not working out. End result is I definitely lost muscle, I see it in my quads, calves, triceps. My knees began hurting and the doctor ascribes it to osteoarthritis aggravated by muscle loss. He said I must have already had the osteoarthritis and as I lost muscle the knee joints began taking the brunt of my steps. So now my missing is to put back on lost muscle and hopefully ease this knee osteoarthritis pain. I have been eating clean, taking Creatine, HMb, M-Test. I am adding the 3-AD.

Have you had blood work? Have you had test levels checked?

Decent chance you may be low. Some doctors who aren’t well versed in TRT aren’t going to treat anyone above 299. Some won’t treat at all. The paradigm is changing slowly on andropause though and more providers are seeing the light. There’s difference between levels of 600 and 299 but zero noticeable difference between 299 and 301 (yet insurance companies and some doctors believe that it has to be a magic number). It’s not cheap but some good hormone clinics are available through tele medicine.

I feel like the 3ad isn’t conducive to your goals. It’s suppressive and you can’t stay on it forever. It’s going to suppress your natural T levels and you are going to stop making estrogen when your test drops . Joints are going to dry out and knee hurt worse . 3ad also isn’t a good muscle builder . I would describe it as very mildly anabolic and moderately androgenic. It wouldn’t be my choice for adding muscle. It will harden muscle, make you stronger, make you want to have more sex, increase aggression in the gym but it’s not a great muscle builder

If your T levels are sub 400 most people are going to notice a difference in the gym IMO replacing levels to 800-1000 which often can be done with like 120 mg of testosterone TRT. Many clinic will prescribe like 200 mg weekly .

I’m currently prescribed 180 mg weekly of test , 60 mg weekly of deca. My clinic does anavar as well but I don’t think they will do it if you are on deca. I think my joints will benefit from the deca more than I will benefit from the var

I've been doing a little research on 3AD, I absolutely am not an expert but it's hard to find good information about the stuff so I started digging a little. From my understanding, 3ad acts more like a neurosteroid, more effects on how you feel, mood and whatnot. It's a adrenal metabolite, it's not a very strong androgen and instead of shutting you down it almost looks like it could increase your testosterone because it should optimize natural testosterone through the adrenal axis, I'm speaking a little above my pay grade so don't ask me to explain too much lol, it interacts with gaba receptors in your brain and should make you feel calm and just good all around. Now this lines up with a lot of user feedback, I've heard multiple people say they feel really good when they take it. It doesn't seem to have a very strong effect on muscle building, seems like it brings on slight changes in body composition and you just kind of feel really good all the time. I'm actually thinking of running this alongside trt just for the mood boost and see what it does the blood work
