SNS Multi-Mushroom - Ideas & Discussion Thread

I'm not putting you off on answering as to a priority list, I have been thinking about whether I was going to do an update about some of the things that I know we will be releasing for sure in the next 6 months and I'll incorporate it into that. I'll either do a thread about it or post it in the Tell Us What you Want From Us thread.

No worries, just inquiring minds that wanted to know. That purple sweet potato powder also just sounds tasty. But then again, I might just be hungry since I'm cutting calories!

We have been asked for a mushroom product a lot more than a greens one, so I hadn't even really considered that.

I do have a Fruits and Veggies product formula complete that I'm pretty excited about - it will be by far the most comprehensively formulated supplement like that on the market.

I need a spirulina/chlorella/ashitaba blend.

Bumping an old thread to see if the mushroom supplement is still eventually being released?

I would like for it too.

It’s a weird category bc the ones that sell the best are usually just cheap, not so good products.

I would love to offer a great one. Just a matter of if it would sell.

I’d be interested as well. Haven’t dabbled too much in this category but I’ve seen some people swear by Tigers Milk mushroom for lungs/breathing, not just on here too. So I’ve been extra interested in trying that one.

Cordyceps Mitaris and Chage 10:1 powders would be splendid.

My sourse stopped selling, and its hard to find a quality source with an affordable price point. I like powder for both, because they mix into coffee perfectly.

I’d certainly try if the benefits lined up right. Sometimes I see mushroom blends and lost in the marketing is what the benefits actually are?

If there’s any extracts that focus on mood rather than just total fruiting body content that would be a cool differentiator too.

I think rather than making a general mushroom blend, which probably won't sell well, I'd be more interested in specific needs products. Maybe a mushroom blend for focus and mood, one for sleep, one for organ health and one for longevity would be a better business decision.

So I’m not in the business so I legitimately don’t know, but I would think it would be better to make a single product to test the waters first? But I will say, a legit mushroom blend for just sleep/calm that worked would be pretty awesome and I’d probably buy.

One issue with nootropics for calmness and for focus is that what works good for some may work completely opposite for another. Example - some people get good concentration with Lion's Mane but others my get brain fog from it.

I've thought about a few different ways of going about doing a mushroom product.

It's actually the general blends that by far sell the best.

I appreciate the ideas and am open to suggestions, but my thought on doing specific mushroom blends for specific reasons is that for example, there is no blend of just mushrooms for focus that would be better for focus than Focus XT, no blend of mushrooms that would be better for mood than Mood Support XT, etc. So it would be almost like doing a mushroom blend for that purpose just for the sake of it being a mushroom blend but it wouldn't be better than existing products if that makes sense.

Makes sense, I remember a member on here mentioned he is an outlier in that way as well. Another reason it would be cool if SNS made one is I know the quality/source you use would be top tier, I keep reading ways companies cut costs and are deceptive, like getting it from fruiting body vs mycelium, and not telling you which it’s from.

Makes perfect sense to me. I'm still hoping you decide to do some type of mushroom supplement. Given your reputation of quality products, it would most definitely blow all these garbage mushroom supps out if the water.

Thank you. I do think that we will do one, there are just some other things that priority wise have to come first.

2025 was a heck of a year supply chain wise so the focus has been on getting existing sku's back in stock and inventory levels up on them.

After that, I'm looking at new products in stages of priority levels as to coming out with new things and hopefully we can move quickly; just the success of what comes out can factor some into how quickly another does.

I do want to do a mushroom and a greens product hopefully later this year.

I think i remember us having that talk in the past because I had felt that after 3-7 days of it, I had incredible mental clarity at work, and was more effective/driven. but I've seen other people try this product for instance, including my co-worker and responses were either zero notice, or negative. My buddy with severe a.d.h.d. for instance often feels "dumber" he says, when using something that I feel gives me more clarity. sorta interesting difference in responses.

Yeah. No offense to them or their product, but I had tried that and I felt like I was about a braindead step away from sitting at my desk and drooling on myself. It made me so out of it that that then triggered my anxiety.

this could be awesome! I dodge so many of them cause either the product sourcing isn't good or it's just stupid priced like AG1.

Yeah, I feel like there there's a void there where many are just glorified prop blends and may be okay in the sense of you get x amount of total greens, but not enough of many of the specific ones - and then there are the ones that are just insanely priced, which is because they have to spend a fortune in advertising.

That was one reason I paused on the project before - 39.99 seems to be the upper price point for a lot of people on a good greens product - and I wanted to do a great one, but it would have been more like 49.99'ish to do it the way I wanted to. So I just paused on it.

I agree with you. although I'd have to see the ingredients and how many servings. $50/month would be a lot to add to the monthly nut, but if it was a longer supply, I'd probably give it a try . $39.99 definitely seems "substantially" easier to afford or at least try and use a few times a week to stretch it out.

Yeah, it's one of those things where I feel like we would be expected to do a fully loaded perfect one - but then on the other hand, people wouldn't want to pay the price for a fully loaded perfect one haha.

I do think we could do one at 39.99 that would be better that what is available now.

if you do feel free to charge me for a guinea pig ride! I'll let you know if it tastes like puke or if it's a winner lol

What about a coffee or mocha flavored blend? Cinnamon Swirl would be good as well. Even with PeakO2 the aftertaste is rough very earthy. I have to eat tic tacs or life savers to cover it.
I would second this, or maybe a coffee and decaf powder with the mushrooms as it could be one of the first drinks of the day..??

I was thinking of doing some type of flavor that would go good with coffee as one of the flavors to try for this.

Whenever we do a greens, that will be a big requirement is that I want it to taste as good as possible.

Caramel/Hazelnut/Almond?

I honestly can't remember for sure. I had some flavors written down for it on a sheet and I just recently changed laptops so I'd have to find the old spreadsheet.

I think I had a Chocolate or Salted Chocolate and a Caramel Mocha or Salted Caramel and a few other ideas.

They sound good. I think it would be a good idea to have a mushroom drink for your “Ready to go morning”….just remember folks not all mushrooms are magic but I’m pretty damn sure whatever SNS come out with will make people feel as big as Mario…..

Why not just make some actual mushroom infused truffles, throw some cocoabuterol and nuligo in there, and call it a performance treat!

I ran a coffee company that focused on single origin coffee and very high quality mushroom powders and CBD
My suggestion would be to break them up into diff products.

You won't be able to necessarily provide effective doses for more than like 4 mushrooms in a single product. So if you want to really "prop blend" it up, sure.

We used to use tremella, poria, and I think turkey tail for the recovery coffee. People were quantifying better sleep on it.

We had an immune defense one that had shiitake, chaga, reishi
We had a preworkout/focus one with lion's mane and cordyceps
I still use all the mushroom powders from what I think is the best mushroom grower/powder mfg on the planet. Her lion's mane absolutely destroys anything else I've used. I can DM you her info if you want

You're welcome to pm me the info about the Lion's Mane.

I've thought about it different ways on the mushroom product and we are open to doing more than one mushroom based formula, based on different benefits if there's enough demand.

The reason for doing a multi-mushroom formula in general is because when people ask us for a mushroom product, that's usually what they ask for and also because those are the ones that sell the best for brands.

The way that I have the formula designed, it wouldn't be mega dosed but it would be dosed well, especially for the average person.

My thought is doing either an 8 or 10 mushroom formula.
We will be doing a capsule and powder version and the capsule version will basically be a lower dose than the powdered version, but a person could take more capsules to make it equal out if they want to.

I'd be curious for any specifics that anyone would like to see in it.

I'd love to hear more of your thoughts on this and what you gained from it-
I take around 1000mg every day. Clinical doses are 1-3g. Compared to other suppliers I had been testing, her stuff was like hitting an entirely extra gear that lion's mane couldn't touch. Way better clean focus and energy. Certainly some anti-depressant effects. Lion's mane floods the brain with BDNF similar to exercise, psilocybin, and I believe MDMA.

I also take prob about 300mg of Chaga, Reishi, Shiitake, Turkey Tail that I just combined into a giant tub so it's easy to use. I scoop that and the lion's mane into my post-workout shake.

I'd love the info

How about including Antrodea Cinnamomea?

I'm open to suggestions. I have the tentative formula done, but nothing is set in stone.
