Probably not for 2 weeks.

Best way to avoid rebound is behavior modification and dietary strictness, but I will mention that i got zero rebound even 2 months after I ran out of beta. I suspect changes to the gut bacteria shifted my phenotype expression.

I'm tempted to purchase this product for my wife, but she is essentially addicted to junk food so behavior modification is likely going to prove to be challenging. On top of that she hates lifting weights so strength training is unlikely to occur in her case and muscle loss is likely a concern. Would it possibly work to at least get her to do some basic strength training while utilizing Exemplar to mitigate potential muscle loss? I might be able to convince her to do some basic movements for few months but have little expectation of this becoming a long term thing.

Make sure her protein intake is adequate. Biggest mistake with GLP1 intervention is the starvation urge, which causes out of control muscle loss (and subsequent metabolic reduction), which then exacerbates rebound fat gain.

Some basic bodyweight movements will definitely help, and maybe some light dumbbell work.
 
I'm also considering using this product myself to allow myself to go from lean (15-16% bodyfat) to more of a shredded state, but I tend to be the type that needs to scratch and claw for every measly pound of lean mass on my frame so the prospect of muscle loss is semi terrifying. Could this product be effective at something like a half dose to create a "safer" rate of weight loss to mitigate some of this concern?

Probably not, but consider stacking with something like MyoSynergy that blocks atrophy and stimulates lean muscle gain.

Thank you for the super prompt answers. One final question I have at the moment is whether it's overkill to utilize DCP at the same time as Exemplar or if Exemplar is more of an all in one fat loss product that covers all angles sufficiently that no further products are required.

DCP should form the base of every stack, not only fat loss but general health.

By activating the PPARs (peroxisomes) and then transporting the partially burned fatty acid to the mitochondria to finish being burned, DCP is the actual "fat burner".

Those two organelles are what do the fat burning.

Exemplar comes in from appetite and metabolic angles to amplify everything, but you need those 2 organelles to "keep up" to really make the most rapid progress.

Sorry if I'm being a bit of a nuisance but I have a few more questions.

What is an appropriate calorie range to utilize on Exemplar? I tend to be very regimented when slimming down and intend to avoid total starvation if possible. Would something like 10x bodyweight in total calories be appropriate, or 12x or less than this? I would aim for a gram of protein per pound of bodyweight as a baseline.

Is there any reason to consider cheats/refeeds on a product like this?
 
I’m 2 days in. Not sure if intended but I’m getting a body warming sensation about an hour after dose and it lasts a while. Almost a thermogenic reaction.

@dsade, what sort of cycle lengths should we run with this 2 months on 1 off or is it ok with longer runs?
Actually I'm not really sure. Just keep going until you reach your goal.

I stopped for a few months in order to replace some lost muscle, now I'm back on for a lean bulk

I am only on day 4. The appetite suppressant is really strong so far. I do not get a warming feeling.
That sounds great to hear with the appetite suppression, I like having my appetite but, but every person that comes to me lately for weight loss stuff only wants to talk about going on semi-glutide or a glp-1. I'm almost always looking for OTC alternatives for people lately.

I also wanna stay OTC. So many people are on a GLP-1 now. I would rather get on TRT.

Only time will tell if it lasts. I should also note I am on Epitome which I have been on before with great results.

I haven’t taken it first thing in the morning. I don’t eat until about 12:45. On the bottle it says first thing in the morning. I have been taking it around 12:15. Been dosing epitome in the morning, exemplar at noon and epitome in the evening.

So I ordered the combo with Epitome for my wife. A little backstory on her…. She’s had a very rough several years. A benign brain tumor in 2021 that was removed and then breast cancer with a double mastectomy in November 2024. The mastectomy was in February 2025.
She’s on an AI along with a shot She gets once every three months that puts her on the other side of menopause. She has not gained any weight because she works out like six days a week, but she can’t lose any either. I feel terrible for her because the AI has just about crippled her and she walks around like an 80-year-old woman first thing in the morning and late at night. So she decided to give Sema a try. That was a huge failure because of how sick it made her. She’s also in remission from Crohn’s disease so that with a fisher fix in her colon has messed up her stomach for life. So I talked her into trying Exemplar along with Epitome, both for appetite control. So with her past stomach issues in mind, this will be a good test to see how she handles the GLP 1 side effects in this. I’m not gonna run a log, but I will update in this thread how she’s doing both good and bad

If the board has any suggestions or thoughts on this let me know.

Also @%1;… what foods should she stay away from? You don’t have to be specific but should she stay away from saturated fats, high fats in general? Should she stay more low-carb or is more carbs better for her? Obviously, she needs protein from the muscle loss caused by the AI but other than that, we really don’t know what is good and what is bad diet wise for her. She’s also a nurse so she knows how to take care of herself healthwise, which always helps. Also is there anything supplement related that she should add to this to help chill out her stomach?

Protein and fats would probably be the best makeup for most of her diet.

Tonight I messed up. Took Exemplar and Epitome at 5. Then my fiber wise at 5:30. At 6, I ate two burger patties with cheese which was approximately 700 calories. Then I had maybe a 1/2 cup of carrots/peas. I am completely stuffed to the point I want to go throw up. Should not have taken the fiberwise.

I’ve been taking it first thing in the morning. Without food and about 12oz water. Then first meal about 30-45mins later.

If I’m doing fasted cardio in the morning I take the dose after cardio so it doesn’t disrupt the stomach during the session. Not sure if that’s needed.

Yeah. First few days were a bit of a workout. It’s settled and now it’s the opposite. Haha. Have added 3 Metamucil gummies per day to keep things moving along.

Meaning stopped up or just discomfort? Or both?
