Do you think you'd consider offering Peptistrong as a standalone ingredient? I'd really like to take Peptistrong all the time, but Peptibolic is a bit on the pricey side, and I find that Basis and Peptiplex have enough overlapping ingredients that I'm leaning towards only using only one or the other.
I'm going to reply in detail here; I know you may know a lot of this, my reply is just meant to be an in depth one to people that may not.
I've considered it and may make one, but even if we do, I would still say that Pepti-Plex is a better product and better value than a stand alone PeptiStrong would be.
Pepti-Bolic is a great value for what it is, but they're both very expensive ingredients. Muscletech sells DL-185 alone for more than we sell Pepti-Bolic for and it contains PeptiStrong + DL-185. I wish the ingredients were less expensive so that we could offer it for less, but we offer it for a great price for what it is and how much it costs to make.
Pepti-Plex is like a natural anabolic + healthy aging & longevity supplement + muscle health supplement all combined into one. Just off the top of my head, the things that I can think of that it targets are:
- Muscle building
- Muscle retention
- Strength
- Muscular endurance
- Muscle health (including helping with nagging injuries)
- Senescent cell clearance
- Improved blood flow and cardiovascular health
PeptiStrong works really well with the other ingredients in Pepti-Plex to accomplish that, but there is a lot more to PeptiStrong than just that.
Like with BASIS how people may have tried some of the ingredients on their own, but its a whole different world using them together, the same applies with Pepti-Plex because of the multiple methods of action being incorporated together in one product.
Pepti-Plex and BASIS make for a great stack and there are a couple of common ingredients and that is a very good thing because higher dosages of each of them helps add extra benefits.
- Apigenin:
- Pepti-Plex and BASIS both have 50 mg. each.
- Studies have shown 50 mg. per day to be the starting effective dose to support building muscle, but have also shown that higher dosages increase the benefits.
- Higher dosages of Apigenin also help with a wide variety of health aging, longevity, and muscle recovery benefits.
- Senactiv:
- Pepti-Plex and BASIS both have 50 mg. each.
- Senactiv is a very overlooked ingredient and a lot of people view it as just something added in to other products without realizing how significant the benefits can be and how it can help set the stage for other ingredients and products to work more effectively.
- Stacking BASIS and Pepti-Plex together would provide 100 mg. of Senactiv, which is the dosage that a lot of people start to really feel more advanced benefits with. It's the dose that we chose for the standalone Senactiv XT product.
- The Senactiv XT write up is very in depth for anyone interested in learning more about it: https://seriousnutritionsolutions.com/product/senactiv-xt/
- AstraGin:
- AstraGin is primarily included to help increase absorption, but it has a lot of other cool potential benefits that a lot of people don't know about because its become so associated with one thing, that the other benefits get overlooked.
- The newest research on AstraGin that I've seen show how higher dosages than the standard 50 mg. dosing can help with gut health and microbiome.
- Pepti-Plex has 50 mg. and BASIS has 25 mg.
- Bioperine:
- Pepti-Plex and BASIS both have 10 mg. each and 10 mg. to 20 mg. is the proper dosage range.
- Bioperine is primarily to increase absorption - it isn't the most exciting ingredient, but it serves a very functional purpose.
