BASIS - An All New Type of Natural Anabolic - Intro & Discussion

I wish that wasn't the case. I have tried to be much more diligent in selecting products and have used the NOW website and another testing/review site to review products. Some are shocking, in that the tested product - in some cases - doesn't even contain the described ingredient. Well, if you have a change of heart .....

Yes - it really is sad like you said that in a lot of cases, there are brands that don't even try to get it right. Like I can understand that things happen and something may be off a few percentages here and there - but its crazy when you see zero of an active in something and especially worse a lot of it is cheap stuff. It's always been common for companies like that to skimp on expensive ingredients like TUDCA - but now, as you mentioned, you're seeing it on stuff that is cheap anyway.

So its a combination of people not knowing the difference between Icariin and Icariins and brands just outright lying on their labels.

I want to clarify that its not about having a change of heart though - we probably will offer one in the future, that's why the label work is done. The priority at the moment is just on getting a couple of priority formulas completed and launched. We do have a couple other single ingredients that are already done and here and waiting to be launched though.

Good news!

So, I find it really interesting that everyone is reporting the joint benefits. For those of you saying this, have any of you used Joint Support XT or Joint Edge? I'm curious how it compares and basically whether BASIS could replace my daily joint supp need.

Don't get me wrong, I love Joint Support XT - but as much as I want to support Steve, at some point I have to make trade offs!

I don't take those but take Cissus XT and NEM which is in Joint Edge.

Been taking them for years and they help a lot. BASIS helped fill a gap I wasn't getting with those two, specifically my knee. I have no plans to stop taking them as they work differently. So I think there is still value in taking those other products with BASIS. Especially the NEM. Increase collagen production while BASIS increases BMP levels and signaling.

In the write up one of the ingredients does stem cell activation. I believe it. The combo of all these products makes me feel half my age in the gym. Just amazed and the benefits only get better month after month.

Given it'll be 2+ months before we get it in the UK, what do you recommend Steve to use to fill in for Basis whilst it's OOS?

Got 3 bottles from Unreal and added it to my stack. Ive never used a BMP type product so im interested to see what benefits it gives me. Im on the last leg of my cut now, probably 3-4 more weeks and then ill do a 4 weeks holding phase before deciding if i want to cut more or to go in a slight caloric surplus.

05.30am - 2 x Glycophase + 1 x C3G XT
06.00am - Meal 1 (highest carb meal of the day and my Pre workout meal)
+2 x Lean GLP, + 3 Pepti-Bolic, + 2 Anabolic Effect, + 2 BASIS
06.30am - Pre-Workout - 2 Lipo-Elite, + 4 Recovery Fix
07.00am - Workout
09.30am - 2 x Glycophase + 1 x C3G XT
10.00am - Meal 2 (Second highest carb meal and my Post workout meal)
1.00pm - Meal 3
+2 x Lean GLP, + 3 Pepti-Bolic
4.00pm - Meal 4
7.00pm - Meal 5
+ 2 Anabolic Effect, + 2 BASIS

Im in maintenance phase right now 3850 calories still tweaking macros and such, stopped dieting close to 4 weeks ago. Since starting basis something i have never ran before already got compliments on im looking leaner and from my buddy, how much more weight I lost(which havent lost in almost 3 weeks). I work with him 5 days out of the week, im actually up 3 lbs on scale from my lowest weight before I stopped dieting. Definitely since starting basis definitely recomp has been noticed strength is top tier; running x gels superswole and basis pumps are next level.

Definitely be extending basis into my next diet phase for sure. Ill be looking forward to see how basis treats you regardless what route of training and dieting you take.

3850 calories as maintenance? Youre a big boy then! My TDEE right now is around 2900, down from 3200 at the start of my diet.

Yeah 3 pounds sounds about right when going from a cut to maintenance. You filled out nicely! I cant wait for that myself. Im sub 10% bf now and just feel stringy haha.

Appreciate the compliment, but I wish that was the case😂😂, work is killer during winter I was putting in alot of steps and putting deliveries away almost every shift. I prep 2 kitchens and go between 3 different floors as well. Been pushing 12- 15 hours most shifts. Spring and summer im already pushing 24k steps a day just from working.

Then practice sports with my daughter and we run around 5 days out of the week too.

My end goal would love to get to that lean, going to take the process slow though. Awesome progress by the way. Cant wait to see how badass you look when you fill back out. Its probably said 1 million times but love your in depth logs and strict routines procedures you follow

Should add when I have any freetime I love to play discgolf now that the weather is beautiful. Usually adds easy 5-8k steps per courses i play

I found a retailer for you that has a couple left: https://www.muscle-lab.de/neue-produkte/cel-basis/SW12830

A1 Supplements has a couple left. They are here in the US, but the last I knew of, they ship internationally: https://www.a1supplements.com/products/competitive-edge-labs-basis

If you can't order from either of those for any reason, Alpha One is great for recomp and muscle fullness, and my favorite overall natural anabolic is Anabolic XT.

Already taking AXT and AO.

Will look at muscle lab.

Thanks!

About to start BASIS..
Any harm in taking all 4 caps at once?

It shouldn't be any harm in it, but I'm not sure that I've known anyone to take it that way.

If you do, let us know how you like it.

Hopefully you can grab some from them bc that would be a great stack.

New stack Basis, M Test, Lean Edge, and Anabolic Effect. Dropped the Recomp20 (out of stock), alpha One, and Prime XT for now.

So my son...14 (and 6'2, 230)...has a torn ACL. Will be having surgery on it soon.

Given some of the pathways of this ...how would it be for helping with recovery post?

Or other options if not a good fit for that.

I have been taking it for two days now and I haven’t dared to take all four at once yet(haha) but what I have noticed since I started is that I’m getting crazy vivid dreams. I feel like my recollection of dreams has been bad for so long, but with this I feel like I dream for so long and I remember everything. I also feel my emotions a bit more intense.

Could be the Hwanggeumchal Sorghum as this releases GH and/or a combination of this and Salidroside.

I hope that you'll enjoy it. Alpha One would be a great addition to continue with the current stack if you still have some.

Recomp20 we should have back in stock within the next 2 weeks I hope.

I'm sorry to hear that that happened. I hope the surgery goes well for him.

BASIS could be beneficial for that, but being that its ligament related, I would go with Pepti-Plex or Pepti-Bolic personally and add Muscle Addiction Recovery Fix.

You could definitely use BASIS with those if you wanted to.

I've been enjoying vivid dreams as well, but unfortunately I've been finding that once I wake up to use the washroom I typically can't get back to sleep again.

From Grok, so certainly not an authority on things lol... but seems like BMP's could also be super beneficial for tendon/ligament issues. Kinda wish I had this back in my perpetual ankle problem days haha

Benefits for Tendons and Ligaments
  1. Enhanced Healing and Repair:
    • BMPs, particularly BMP-2, BMP-7, BMP-12, BMP-13, and BMP-14 (also known as GDF-5, GDF-6, and GDF-7), promote tendon and ligament repair by stimulating fibroblast activity and collagen synthesis, essential components of these tissues.
    • They enhance the recruitment and differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells into tenocytes (tendon cells) or ligament fibroblasts, aiding in tissue regeneration.
    • Studies show BMP-12 and GDF-5 improve tendon strength and stiffness during healing, particularly in models of Achilles tendon or rotator cuff injuries.
  2. Improved Collagen Organization:
    • Tendons and ligaments rely on well-organized collagen fibers for strength. BMPs help regulate collagen type I and III production, leading to better tissue structure and mechanical properties post-injury.
  3. Reduced Scar Tissue Formation:
    • BMPs can modulate the healing environment to favor regenerative tissue over fibrotic scar tissue, which is weaker and less functional. This is particularly beneficial in chronic tendon injuries (tendinopathies).
  4. Stimulation of Enthesis Formation:
    • The enthesis, where tendons or ligaments attach to bone, is a critical site for musculoskeletal function. BMPs, especially BMP-2 and BMP-7, promote the formation of a strong tendon-to-bone interface, which is vital for surgical repairs like anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction or rotator cuff surgery.
  5. Anti-Inflammatory Effects:
    • Some BMPs, like BMP-7, have shown potential to reduce inflammation in tendon and ligament injuries, creating a more favorable environment for healing.

So far seeing some knee slowly subsiding and some mood boost. Have 2 bottles so will report back after the conclusion of those. And hope to continue to see positive effects and purchase more if this trend continues.

I hope that you'll enjoy it. Alpha One would be a great addition to continue with the current stack if you still have some.

Recomp20 we should have back in stock within the next 2 weeks I hope.

I’m going to run out the rest of my A1, still have a bout a months worth since I only take one a day. I still have a little bit of Recomp20 left too.

I’ve run M-Test before with great results years ago. Would be even better now that I’m an older guy. Haven’t run AE yet. I think I’ll rotate 4 months of AE with Prime and Recomp20, and keep Lean Edge and M-Test as staples since they’re so inexpensive, probably going to keep Basis as a staple as well.

Started my 3 Bottles of Basis a few days ago along with Lean GLP and Lean Edge. I'm looking foward to see how this treats me!!!

What’s the best way to take it. when you wake up. before your workout?

I would personally space the dosage morning and evening with one dose 30 mins to an hour prior to working out if convenient.

So for me, I'm liking 4 caps pre-workout in the morning and 2 caps later in the day. Workouts are on another level in regards to pump and endurance. I'm going to be sticking to this dosage.

Looking forward to my 12 week run starting Monday. It’s been hard having this in my stack but not touching it

I might have to try this, I’m currently taking 2 before workout in the morninng and 2 later in the day.

I’m taking a loving 6 ATPElite pre workout and sure it would be even better with 4 basis along side.

Has anyone stacked a full dose of BASIS with other pump products/pre workout? If so what was the experience?

Endowflow and Amento along with BASIS is a sick pump. Hits fast and really improves mind muscle connection.

I'll also add Inspired Nitrum Serum too for even more kick.

BASIS is incredible and easily a staple for me. The pumps are nice but the healing properties are amazing. I've gotten better results than BPC/tb500.

Damn that sounds great. I’m getting older and starting to really feel aches and pains, so the recovery aspect interests me as well. I use a crap ton of pump stuff so I was curious about interactions with it, But it sounds like it will be a good addition.

When is this coming back in stock?

We are hoping to have it back in within 6 weeks, maybe less.

We had hoped it would have been much sooner, but the tariff situation screwed up lead times on a lot of things in the industry. If raw materials had been imported under those circumstances, the price increase would have been pretty dramatic.

DPS still has some left but is low stock.

On basis and Pepti-Plex and knee feels so much better. But now the problem is which one is helping the most, lol. I will run out of both at similar time. Will hopefully be pepti plex as it's in stock.

I’m not taking Pepti-Plex, but I am taking BASIS with all the other stuff I take, and it’s really helping my shoulder that I had injured last September. I was just able to get back to the gym a couple of months ago, after I had finished all my rehab. But I basically feel like I’m almost back to normal and regaining strength weekly still. Anyway, I know BASIS has been one of the major players in helping my shoulder.
Ha, if BASIS isn’t in stock, just get the Pepti-Plex now and BASIS later when it comes in, because the synergy between those two should be great, and sounds like they are working for you.👍

i like that idea
i plan on doing peptibolic + basis

Anyone notice pepti bolic is better then pepti plex?
there very different

pepti plex isnt just pepti product but much more that will help you in gym performance ( pre workout wise more and feeling better over all )

peptibolic on other hand you will notice more strength increase and activation of muscle protein synthesis

iono if that makes sense or im all over lol .. you would just have to try it out and see what you like but i dont think you go wrong with anything eslse.

pepti bolic is amazing but yeah pepti plex cant be forgotton as its peptistrong + 5 other proven ingredients

That sounds like a great stack.

I'm thinking Pepti-bolic and BASIS down the road.
I'm running both of these at the moment, but with several other heavy hitters included to create a bit of a super stack. I'm currently about a month into a 3 month run (maybe longer depending on how much fat I add over time) of Formeron, Myosynergy Elite, Basis, Peptibolic, and about a week ago I decided to also add Alpha One into the mix as well. At the same time I reconfigured my workouts to increase effectiveness including choosing exercises to maximize the loaded stretches while tweaking my rep ranges to include a bit lower rep ranges at times. I was pretty much exclusively working in higher rep ranges of 15-18 reps due to various aches and pains/injury concerns, but I feel I'm finally healthy enough to crank up the intensity. I'm hoping that Basis and Peptibolic are both strong additions towards keeping my joints healthy, and it's all good on that front so far as my various trouble spots are largely feeling great at the moment (left shoulder, elbows etc.).

I'm up about 6 pounds after the first 4.5 weeks. Not all of it is clean weight as I switched from cutting to bulking too quickly (I'm impatient and hadn't really enjoyed a proper healthy bulk in something like a decade). It feels like the results are just starting to ramp up, and I suspect once Alpha One really gets firing on all cylinders I'm going to be in for a wild ride.
