Got a little anniversary Vegas trip planned first week of November to make it feel like summer is truly over. It’s much needed too, been burning the candle with an acetylene torch this summer. The candle was gone looooong ago

we enjoy all the same things in a Vegas trip apparently lol. I think the only gambling I've ever done, ever, in Vegas was sitting at a poker table folding for an hour while I waited for my wife to get ready to go out lol

advice: if you go during pool season hit up club moorea at Mandalay. you'll thank me later. I know a guy there that can get you the homie hook up ;)

Same, not much of a gambler. I’ll throw a few bucks on a boxing match, ufc, or hockey game. But that is from the comfort of my phone. Casinos are more for the people watching aspect for me.

Might have to check out mandalas pool next summer then! Looks like most pools there close around Halloween.

I used to live 45min from Crystal and Snoqualmie so my brother and I would snowboard 2x per week. it's like... 90-120min drive now and the prices have freaking skyrocketed so I'm sorta glad to have excuses not to be on the mountain where I'll likely destroy my ACL these days Invalid Link Removed lol


I agree with you on Vegas. I freaking love it, and it's perfect for just a couple days so you still want to come back.

I agree with you on Vegas. I freaking love it, and it's perfect for just a couple days so you still want to come back.
Vegas is awesome but with the shows and stuff it gets so expensive so fast.

OMG yes, I never got to experience the "cheap" vegas everyone used to talk about. These days my wife and I mostly just look for a great pool and then hit Vamp'd for some awesome classic rock at night.

Yeah I’m in Colorado these days. Right out of high school I moved to winter park and spent the next 7 years riding and snowmobiling. I didn’t want to wait till I was old to do it, wanted to take advantage of that young invincibility lol.

I hear ya on the knees, snowboarding is how I originally wrecked my meniscus.

Vegas was a fun let loose time, I definitely indulged in some quality bourbon. Haven’t drank since lol.

I love snatch for warmup. Haven't done it banded since I I was rehabbing a rotator cuff like 2 decades ago, might have to bring that one back

How is everything feeling on your comeback trail?

Good actually. Got myself in a good headspace, remedied many issues that had arisen in life and have a game plan for balancing it all. Feeling healthy, cleaned out the system and ready to slowly and methodically ramp up in all aspects!
