All I know is that Dermacrine has Pregnenolone + DHEA
Ultra Hard has EpiAndro + Androsterone
Four Alpha is 4-DHEA + Androsterone

and since switching to XPG products (Alpha Gel, Epiandro, and DHEA) I'm basically getting all the epiandro and the dhea without any sides now so it makes me wonder if it was the pregnenolone or the androsterone that was irritating my body.
It's an interesting theory. Although for me, I know I just have sensitive skin. I can't even wear normal antiperspirants because it irritates my armpits.

Anyways, this morning I hopped on the bike for 36:10 mins, 160 cals. Followed up with some Thor Kettlebell side bends. Today's Halloween so will be doing pizza and candy with the kids!

Today is Halloween, so I will be having Flank Steak and an avocado for dinner. BOO!!! Just not the same.

Maybe I will just jump out screaming "Run" at the top of my lungs every 5th knock at the door and see if I can make some kids cry so I feel better about not having candy. Yeah... that's the ticket!

I’ve got grilled chicken breast, diced avocado, and some black beans coming up next myself.

I realized I never do well with candy - I never am actually satisfied by it, even when it tastes delicious. I eat some until I start to feel sick, then I just crave it again and again before I know it, in a cycle of addiction. And I’m trying to lean out, so it certainly doesn’t taste as good as reaching my goals feels 🤷‍♂️

I would go with whatever you have that’s open. If neither, I would use the DHEA since they will stay good forever even in an opened bottle. If both are opened, I’d use a combo.

I think 50/day is plenty. I notice estrogen rise fast on just 25. As long as you’re getting enough to feel decent, that’s all that matters. It will be individual. You aren’t trying to make gains off it.

Trying to do my best to navigate mentally & physically. In the past, my MO would just be to have a drink to deal, but I suppose the positive here is that I'm being strict about avoiding alcohol right now.

On that note have you found a deodorant that works? I’m very similar. The second I put antiperspirant on my pits they begin sweating and get irritated. I’ve tried many (aluminum free, heavy metals 🤣, natural) to no avail. Recently just gave up and went organic lol.

Work can suck like that sometimes. Cutting alcohol is definitely the right move when all that extra stress is prevalent. It seriously just compounds all the negative in that environment.

Nope, no dice. Went the natural, organic route like Tom's and still had issues. I just go with a spray on deodorant, but no antiperspirant. Guess it's a good thing I workout at home!

This week's schedule is a crazy one. Home with the kids Tues due to school closing, midweek work travel, then back home but with the kids again. These next two months are honestly a little all over the place. But trying to stay on task. Did a good job avoiding alcohol this weekend while there was temptation twice, but stuck to my diet sodas/Celsius.

Interested to weigh in, I've got to be close to pushing 170# at this point based on end of last week's weigh in...

OK, so who checked out the Olympia results?? Honestly, super stacked line ups these days and it can easily be anyone's trophy at any time. Happy for Derek, very cool to see someone move from 212 to open and win it all. Need to see more pics from Classic, but again that's a very deep line up. Chris winning again maybe isn't a surprise, as his physique is clearly the standard I'm judges eyes. But the one shot I saw of Dino looked really solid. Also a bit surprised to see Terrence drip so far in placements. Keone winning 212 over Shaun was an upset IMO. Also glad to see Ryan Terry win Men's Physique since he had basically almost called it quits not long ago. His improvements have just been super impressive IMO.

Yeah, would've preferred to hop on the treadmill as elliptical forces my knees/legs into a fixed plane of motion. But kept it relatively light and just to get the blood flow going. Tomorrow I get to deadlift though and taking a day off to spend with my son, so life is good.
 
Tomorrow sounds like an awesome day brother! I actually prefer the elliptical, it is easier on my joints but yeah if the gate on it doesn't match with yours it is not going to be a comfortable ride. My coach has me doing the treadmill which is brutal on my calves and just harder on my body overall once I start trying to walk fast. I am built to amble, or meander, maybe even sashe if in a good mood, but walking fast just ain't for me. Sprinting fast, yep, walking fast NOPE!

Well, I've got a massage here lined up for my day off, plus next week is a lower volume week. So should be headed into it pretty recharged and then take full PM advantage of stuffing myself with Thanksgiving meals to fuel week 5 deads!! 
 
Off Sat - Mon. Was supposed to get in the gym on Monday, but my body apparently needed the extra rest, so slept in. The massage place I found nearby was exactly what I needed. Even so, my right shoulder blade area still is a little tight.

Picked up 60# in weights over the weekend for $40. Still want to pick up one more 10# plate, but this price/lb was a pretty good deal. Also was able to grab 2 cases of Redcon energy for $10 at the local VS, as they were on discount, on BOGO, and then I had a reward credit! Picked up Sour Peach Rings. Also tried a can of G-Fuel energy Pac Man (cherry) version, not bad, lower caffeine (200 mg).

Wasn't feeling legs today, but powered through squats. Skipped any accessories. Finished my last day of XPG yesterday and will be done Ogre on Friday. Thought I had more, but guess it must've been an open bottle. My current thinking is to keep running the 4-andro caps out for another 2 weeks solo and probably let myself introduce lower level of stims again to help give a bit of a mental boost through the end of this run, for a total of 6 weeks all in. But next week with the holidays coming up and hosting it may be difficult to stay on task / normal WO schedule.

What’s your best bench? What do you feel you need to do to get back to it?
215, but was focused on running a bench program for strength. Right now my focus still is primarily on increasing my deadlift, but guess I haven't truly found the balance yet that doesn't sacrifice strength in any one of the other big lifts. Generally, I feel like I'm almost there though. Assuming I hit 185 for reps next week, I'll stay there to build the base, and like I've been doing with squats just keep focusing on increasing the # of reps.

On a related side note, I miscalculated weights this AM and 200 didn't budge. Also, must've broken a small blood vessel in my right forearm today as I had a slight black and blue afterwards.
 
40 mins, 245 cals cardio session on the bike to finish out the week. All out of Ryse BCAA Focus (will pick some more up assuming they do a BF sale), so switching back to using up my Breach+ intra-WO. Will try to fit in my week 4 deadlift session probably tomorrow or Sun afternoon.

Yeah, I'm not sure exactly what it is - think the term is petechia - but I've also had similar in my forearms when pulling heavier in the past. Some small broken blood vessels that end up discoloring the skin a bit. Just the strain on the muscle I suppose.

The thought had crossed my mind yesterday to throw on a tip set of 285, but given my hamstring, I opted to forego it. Probably the right move. I do have another 10# plate coming though, so moving up to 255 as working sets is coming soon...

When you said you went to VS I was like what the hell you shopping there for then I put 2 and 2 together 😂 not the VS that came to mind at first.

you gonna lift thursday morning? I'm half tempted to do some sorta morning WOD at home while the smoker warms up since all I have is basically kettlebells, jump rope, and a 1/4 mile driveway.

you gonna lift thursday morning? I'm half tempted to do some sorta morning WOD at home while the smoker warms up since all I have is basically kettlebells, jump rope, and a 1/4 mile driveway.

Fri: Likely off, but maybe PM deadlifts depending on how long our family stays.
Sat: Realistically, probably PM deadlifts once everyone is out of our house.

that's still pretty good! I'm hoping for a session tomorrow and Sunday, tomorrow is going to be the big question mark.

Yeah that’s not bad at all. I’ll be checked out until Monday. I’ll probably get some pheasant hunting in and Maybe deer hunt.

I am definitely lifting Thursday. I always lift on TG before the big meal. Give it a better place to go when I start scarfing. Plus it is on my workout schedule this year which I ain't trynna break right now. Normally on TG I train in the garage but my gym now is self serve and the door locks open by key-fob so I can go 24 / 7 / 365.
