I was going to walk yesterday but this heat is nasty. I soaked my tee shirt doing the bike on our sun porch Tuesday. Did get my tanning bed in today haha. This shoulder bothering me has got me wanting to run this bottle of Tr3st I have in my stash.

Is the shoulder bothering you joint or ligament?

I broke my shoulder last year and Joint Support XT is a must for me in general; but CurcuPrime Gel is awesome for any type of inflammation or aches and pains in it. A lot of guys on here love it.

I think it's probably ligament. It has been separated twice I think. I had to wear a sling for months after the wreck. Oral curcumin helps it some. The TD version probably would be better.
Since I tore the pec it has been off. I think it popped out and back in. It has been more painful lately. I'm leaning toward seeing a chiropractor about it.

Yep I'm one of them. I use it for my forearms and elbows that get inflammed frequently.

I stuck with the incline instead of the shoulder press today. Got to take the weight up a tad so that's cool.

The right shoulder never really bothers me while I'm lifting just aches in evenings and sometimes in bed.

I plan on trying the Curcuprime and seeing if it helps. FWIW I remembered to take my glucosamine/chondroitin today. That helps some.

Here's the workout I did:
Snap fitness delts, back and biceps:
Matrix plate loaded incline:
135X10
155 X8
175 X6
Leaning cable lat raises:
25 X10,10 L&R
25 X10,10
Matrix lat raises:
70 X10
70 X10
70 X10
Facepulls:
70 X10
70 X10
70 X10
Wide grip pulldowns:
120 X10
120 X10
120 X10
Reverse grip cable rows:
125 X10
130 X8
135 X6
Cable curls:
80 X10
80 X10
80 X10
Rope hammer curls:
105 X10
105 X10
Matrix curls:
80 X10
80 X10
80 X10

I think you would be very happy with CurcuPrime Gel; it helps me a lot with inflammation.

As far as glucosamine/chondroitin, I'm not sure if you've ever tried or thought about trying Joint Support XT, but it has Glucosamine in it but so much more - NEM Eggshell Membrane, Super Boswellin, C3 Curcumin, Glucosamine, Bioperine. A great benefit of it is that it helps fast and you can see results fast, whereas with normal glucosamine/chondroitin, it can take 3 to 6 weeks to really start to see a difference.

The shoulder I broke, I'm the same way as to what you said - it bothers me more when I'm doing other things rather than lifting. I have to be super careful lifting, but as long as I focus on stability, I'm fine. It's when I'm doing simple stuff that it tends to hurt, or even sleeping. I toss and turn a lot because if I stay on it too long, it wakes me up hurting.

Got in a pretty good leg day. I'm excited about my next cycle. Adding the Ursa-Gel into the mix is going to make it better.

I will be trying the Curcuprime also. I want to get it from dps because they have a nice deal on my favorite protein. I will probably start a log for the cycle soon after this one.

After the initial deload I've even starting to creep weights up a tad. This stuff is great for maintaining.

Snap fitness leg day:
Matrix leg press:
230 X10
330 X5
330 X5
330 X5
Feet at top
330*X5
330 X5
Leg ext:

130 X10
Prone leg curls:

80 X10
80 X 10
Hip abduction:
80 X10
80 X10
80 X10
Hip adduction:
80 X10
80 X10
80 X10
Seated calf raises:

Yeah. I really like this leg press. This gym is pretty close to the house also. I'd probably do all my training there but I love that chest press at Nautilus.

I didn't get in my hour on the recombinant bike in yesterday but legs weren't too bad. If had done that 10 X 10 squat thing the DOMS would have been wicked.

Going to get that Curcuprime soon so I'll tell how it works for me in my next log. I probably have 2 days tops of this left. I changed up the volume bench a bit. I could get pretty good big lifts doing the 7 X 7 on the flat so I think I'll see how works on the chest press.

Volume bench & tris
Flat bench:
115 X10
115 X9
115 X10
7 X 7 Cybex bench:
l65 X7
165 X7
165 X7
165 X7
165 X7
165 X7
165 X7
Cybex flies:
95 X 10
95 X10
Cable crossovers:
80 X10
80 X10
80 X10
Cybex tricep press:
90 X10
100 X8
110 X5
Cybex tricep extensions
67,5 X10
67.5 X10
Rope push downs:

I took delt day off today. My right shoulder was a bit achy. At least I didn't skip leg day :p.

This is going to be a bit of a review of the Epicatechin Gel. After the initial deload from going off cycle there was a elevation of strength for being in an off cycle period. The weights were creeping slowly back up so that's a plus

There is a bit of an anti-estrogen effect. The epicatechin doesn't have an AI effect but does have a protein which binds to ERs. This could be a big plus for some but can also feel a bit dry. When I was doing 2 pumps no problem but when I upped it to 3 it messed with my joints a bit. You have to remember that I'm 65, had some nasty injuries and am on a quite low dose trt. This probably wouldn't be a concern for most.

All in all I give it a big thumbs up for retaining gains. It might be a nice add on to a cycle also. Should bump gains up a bit and give a little estrogen protection also.

I started the Ursa-Gel and IML 4-andro and 1-andro creams at 2 pumps of each yesterday. The Curcuprime gel came today and I put 1 pump on my right shoulder.

I'm thinking about trying a bench and tris workout tomorrow. If all goes well, I will probably log this starting tomorrow. Still trying to map this thing out but my shoulder is feeling a lot better.

I'm gonna keep track of my second epicatechin gel run here. Couldn't even tell you what day I started but this stuff is great for retaining muscle while off.

I'm using two pumps a day of the epicatechin gel along with some Swanson pomegranate extract and resveratrol for a SERM effect. Besides that just my trt which is 100 mgs a week of test cyp.

My training is a bit off where I have been working on this Shoulder impingement so today was leg day.

Yeah I did them on the pullup machine & took 30 lbs off my BW. Gonna do them a minute the next time.
Arms straight up with a pronated grip. If you have any impingement inflammation it helps a lot.
Some young dudes got on the pullup machine while I was doing calf raises so I did one of the stretches on the pulldown bar with 150 lbs.

I'm really glad that you like Epicatechin Gel.

You made a great point - I think a lot of people overlook how great it is for helping retain muscle and strength when off.

Yeah, I'm sold on using it for off periods to keep gains. I've taken weights down a tad here and there but not much. The amazing thing is I can reload them some toward the end. Great for starting the next cycle.
I've got some of the epiandro-gel to combine with the oral Muscle Addiction version and some Tr3st for my next run.

So many games to watch it's hard to pick one! I need to start doing fasted cardio in AM but I tend to want to eat right when I wake up.

I had to watch WVU on ESPN+ but there were lots of good game on the antenna also.
Fortunately I have a recombinant bike on the sun porch. Just made myself do it before I ate.

I did an hour on the recombinant bike yesterday semi fasted(ate breakfast but did the bike at 4:00 pm).

Since I'm trying to do all this at Snap I modified the delt, back & bis workout a bit.
The hammer curls messed with my shoulder some so I lowered the weight. I also changed the delt stretch movement to Upright rows. My form is like Stoppani's and doesn't bother my shoulder.

Here's today's workout:

Snap fitness delts, back and biceps:
Matrix shoulde press:
70*X10
80 X8
90 X6
Should hangs:
50 seconds*

I'm going to change back to doing squats on leg day so I volume on the leg press today to prep for it. This messed me up on doing my stretches but I will put them back in next week. 10 X 10 wasn't as tough doing moderate weight on the leg press but I still felt it.

Snap volume leg press day:
Matrix leg press:

I've been thinking about running this oral trest for awhile and just went ahead and started it yesterday.

I'm still doing the 2 pumps of Epicatechin Gel ed. Along with that I started doing the Epiandro-gel yesterday. I am also taking 25 mgs Trest in the AM and 25 mgs Trest along with 300 mgs oral epiandro pre-workout.

I've done the trest, epiandro pre-workout thing in the past and got some nice lifts.
Think I'm going stay with the cool leg press and just try to get the whole stack(400 lbs) for 5 X 5. I have done that before. My other goal is to get 315 for 1 on the plate loaded incline.

Here's my workout for today:
Snap fitness leg day:
Matrix leg press: depth set at 3
Regular:
230 X10
330*X5
330 X5
330 X5
Feet at the top:
330 X5
330 X5
Leg ext seat on 3:
130 X10
130 X10
130 X10
Prone leg curls:
90 X10
90 X10
90 X10
Hip abduction:
80 X10 G10
80 X10
80 X10
Hip adduction:
80 X10
80 X10
80 X10
Seated calf raises:
In 115 X25 G25
Out 115 X25
Mid 115 X25
Supersets with
Shoulder hang 50 seconds
Shoulder hang 50 seconds
Shoulder hang 50 seconds
Shoulder hang 50 seconds
BTW, those stretches are helping my shoulder a lot. The trest makes it even better.

Nice workout! Shoulder hangs are definitely a good way to stretch out those shoulders.

This workout is a bit longer but it is a lot of sets. I might remix it at some point but probably when I'm doing more of a cutter thing.

I didn't do my regular bike thing yesterday but legs and butt weren't horribly sore. Will probably do recombinant bike in the AM.

Going pretty good. Trest should be kicked in next week. It's going to be wild trying to get big lifts on the incline bench. I think this is going to be great for repairing the pec tear. It's at the top near the shoulder and the incline hits it good.

Are the 'shoulder hangs' dead hangs? Are they for mobility, shoulder health and bloodflow or do they also serve some other purpose in between lifts for you?

Snap Fitness
I wish there was a snap fitness close by to me. I've trained in a few of them and they always seem to have a good variety of equipment.

Yeah. The one I train at has a bunch free weight stuff on the first floor and lots of cool machines on the third. I kinda go back and forth between them. Get some cardio going down stairs(I always ride the elevator up :p).
