Notes; I went for blood work this morning, My White Blood Cell count is down from 378 to 159 should be 11, My platelets are up from 40 to 67 should be 140-360. Everything is headed in the right direction !!! Bad news is my Treadmill is Dying

I started a new Pre Work Out today - Muscle Addition's Pump Addict - Blue Rasberry Leamonade From our good friend Steve @sns8778 if you notice most of my supplements right now are from the SNS Family SNS, CEL, XPG & Muscle Addition. I am using the Pump Addict Ultra Hardcore at one scoop, seeing as it has been a month since I have worked out and I am not really training very hard. At one scoop in 20oz of cold water it has a very mild smooth taste. The 150mg of caffeine gives me a nice boost for my 4am fasted workouts. The pump I had this morning in my one tricep was a great feeling. Hopefully I can get back to a little more intense workouts and give the Two Scoop serving a test drive!

Good to see your blood count continue to head in the right direction. Looks like the Doctors and God are doing their thing. 👍
I’m a big fan of Steve and his companies….I’m actually getting ready to order one of his new ones, SNS Cardiovascular Support XT, it really looks complete and should be very effective.

That's awesome. I'm really glad that you like it.

I'm really surprised that it doesn't get more talk here because it checks both boxes for people that love pumps and for people that love stims and the dosing allows for easy customization.
Folks if you haven't tried this, give it a try !!

I will have to pick some up on the next sale. @BOSSMAN already let me know it was worthy of my attention.

Pump Addict Ultra Hardcore is a great pre-workout and provides a lot more ingredients than most other pre-workouts and is still less expensive than many of them, even at full price. At 49.99 per tub (or 44.99 each on the twin pack), it is only 1.25 to 2.50 per serving (one scoop/2 scoops) at full price and like right now, you can get it at certain retailers on sale at 37.95 each which makes it less than a dollar per serving to 1.90 per serving.

I was talking to someone about this just last night that sometimes I feel we would be better to mark things up a lot more just so we could do higher % off sales because it seems like no matter how inexpensively we price products, people always want 'wait for sales'. I'm all about saving money too, but marking products up so much that a company can do a 'buy one get one free' a lot of the time - what does that tell one about the normal price? That the company has to be more than doubling their money off of people to begin with, so much so that they can give you 2 bottles for that price and still make a profit.

Maybe that does need to be what we should be doing, but our business model is to offer great prices year round and we've started offering more and more discounted multi-pack prices for people to be able to stock up on things that the really like.

I see people sometimes spend more money on competing products because they're 'waiting on sales' when the product by us that they're 'waiting on a sale' for is actually cheaper per serving to begin with.

We run sales a couple of times a year to allow people to stock up and save more, but I want to clarify that we aren't doing that in the future the way we have before - we have absorbed numerous price increases without raising the price on a single product - but that means that we cannot continue to do 30% off sales on everything, especially not on multi-packs. Which most brands don't do that high a % anymore anyway. For holiday sales in the future, it'll likely be like 20% or 25%, maybe 30% off on select items, etc. There may be some complaints on us not doing them anymore, but the alternative is for us to not be in business anymore because offering great prices to begin with and then offering those deep of discount on everything including multi-packs + absorbing price increases without raising prices isn't a sustainable business model.

My post isn't specifically to you; just posting it in general to let people know so they don't wait on high % off sales that never happen.

it's an annoying reality of human perception, unfortunately.
20 years ago I was an ebay power seller. I struggled at first trying to sell things are fair market value with fair market shipping. My competition was under cutting me and charging triple for shipping, and getting it.

so I cut everything to a penny and started marking up shipping like them (back then you could do that) and my profits soared for a while. I grew to despise those people that would pay me $.01 + $25 shipping but wouldn't pay me $15 + $5 shipping.

they literally would pay more.

I was telling Steve on the phone yesterday whats funny is I'm looking forward to using this because I have used Total War for a while which is fine, but they sell the pump formula separate so if you want both the pump and the stimmy you gotta buy two different pre-workouts, mix two pre-workouts, and spend twice as much.... looking forward to running my first batch of his products real soon.

I can completely agree and see how that would work - I have felt so many times like we'd be better off just to mark things up like crazy like most companies do and then just discount it back down to the regular price so that people would perceive it as being on sale - rather than buying products from other companies and supporting them and paying more money for lesser products - just because in their minds they're waiting on a 'sale' from us.

I'm all about saving money, but I tend to break things down into a cost per day basis.

I'm also one of those people where if someone says they can sell me one at regular price and give me one free, my thought is - eh, so you're screwing me anytime I buy it at regular price huh? Because I know that means they can truthfully sell me 2 units and still make money based off being able to do that type of sale.

EXACTLY!!
I spent a decade giving my best customers top notch high volume pricing and I would extend that pricing to them if they ordered 1pc or 1000pcs because the overall picture was a great, profitable account with solid relationships.
they started requesting price break down from 1, 250, 500 etc etc etc.

I'm like I can do that, but your 1pc price would go up. well thats what they wanted. so now they pay more when they order smaller volume, my resell prices went up and they're happy because they perceive a huge discount at 1k. but in actuality I used to give them that 1k pricing for any volume.

I see commercials on TV - Mattress at 50% off and I say to my wife, "So The Gut That Bought One Last Week Really Got Ripped Off" - New windows Buy One Get One Free ????????????? I get the same thing at work, the place down the road has buy 3 tires get the 4th on free. I give them a total price on 4 from us and tell them just to compare the bottom line. I don't think we have ever been more ???

It's a strong product and I think that a lot of people will never need 2 scoops, so the average person is going to get 40 servings out of it or definitely more than 20 because most aren't going to use 2 scoops every workout.

I'm surprised with the way that some on here love stims that it doesn't get more talk. To me, this is the perfect clean energy pre-workout that gets you going energy wise and doesn't have the crash feeling to it that many do.

I can absolutely believe that. It's like so many people have their minds trained to look for a sale or discount that they'd rather pay more just to get one in certain circumstances.

That's a huge thing with Black Friday sales in this industry and others. A lot of times they aren't even sales, they're companies marking up products by 40% for a month prior just to discount them for the sales.

I'd rather be able to get a good price all the time and if I can get a sale price discount at times - cool, but I'd rather be able to buy at better prices year round.

We don't have a Costco but its that way with me at Sam's Club.

I like the Fairlife protein drinks for convenience. Me and my daughter both drink them. I know they're not as good as mixing your own, but they're great for me to grab if the only options are grab one or miss a shake. Most places have been out of stock on them and some places are charging a crazy markup on them just because everyone else is out.

I went into Sam's the other week to get my membership card updated and they had a display of them - that turned into me having to pull my jeep up to the curb type of loading up experience haha.

Oh you don't have to sell me on the quality or the fact that you already have a great price point on them. I hold your company and your business practices in high esteem. I just don't value most performance enhancing supplements as much as other people. I try to spend as little as possible on performance enhancing supplements, but do like to treat myself to an excellent preworkout at times. Even then I tend to run it at a lower dose to try to make it last longer. I am not really a "good customer" in that respect. More of a 1 tub every 2-4 months kind of guy. However if I get back into lifting in the morning it becomes almost a necessity for every workout.

My wife knew I was running out of my last preworkout, and was going to buy something new, so she decided to surprise me with a $20 tub of some muscletech nonsense. So I have something I am using right now, but it is definitely sub-par and doesn't even come close to functional doses of anything but caffeine and even that is a stretch. Which is why right now I am willing to wait for a sale. I have something I am using now. That being said I am probably going to jump on your cardiovascular product with my next paycheck because at 50 I value the health supplements more.
Every trip to Sam's Club runs $300. even when the wife says I only need a few things................. $300.00
I don't remember the last time we got out of Sam's for less than $500 outside of once I ran in just to get a Caramel Pecan Pie and it was right at the door so I got it and forced myself to go straight to the checkout. ;)

Honestly, I don't know that I have ever had one of theirs. We normally go straight home drop off the food from Sam's then go to Kroger or HEB to get whatever we don't buy at Sam's. So typically just off timing to grab something hot and ready to eat.
😅😅 thats exactly what we have done. lol get one for dinner sunday night and I'll just carve the other one on the spot for work lunches
Sounds like this might be a good idea for me to give a shot.

Oh by the way we typically buy for a whole month when we go which is why we drop 500 easily.

I miss going to a HEB.

We do sams club for meat and some produce, then Hyvee and fareway for the rest. If I’m buying steaks to cook it’s fareway they have the best steaks in my area I have found.

Here in Texas, as you probably know outside of a meat market HEB has the best meats by a long shot. I have heard the Costco has pretty good meat but I haven't ever been to one. The Sam's is like a mile from the house and the costco is about 7 miles and would require a 2nd membership.

Oh yeah they definitely do I enjoyed that. When I was in Laredo and San Angelo they got a lot of my business! Hit or miss at Costco for me on meat, I feel like pre Covid they had better meat then sams, now I feel sams has better 🤷🏻‍♂️

Notes; It feel really weird doing movements with only my left side, but it also fells really good to be back in the gym. My left bi has always been a little smaller than my right, so this will be a good opportunity to get it caught up. We went out to eat with some friends last night I had a very good 8oz Sirloin with Green Beans and a Potato, one of our friends made me a Carrot Cake for my birthday, which I must say was the best Carrot Cake I ever had. I ate one piece (a big one) and sent all the left overs home with the other guest. Maybe one day I will get this diet back on track.

I have been doing some research and I think I should add Glutamine to my supplement regiment. I would be interested in hearing your recommendation @Hyde also @sns8778 I did not see it listed on the SNS website ?

Glutamine
L-glutamine
Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid (building block of protein) in the body. The body can make enough glutamine for its regular needs. But during times of extreme stress (the kind you experience after heavy exercise or an injury), your body may need more glutamine than it can make. Most glutamine is stored in muscles, followed by the lungs where much of the glutamine is made.

Glutamine is important for removing excess ammonia (a common waste product in the body). It also helps your immune system function and may be needed for normal brain function and digestion.

You can usually get enough glutamine without taking a supplement because your body makes it and you get some in your diet. Certain medical conditions, including injuries, surgery, infections, and prolonged stress, can lower glutamine levels. In these cases, taking a glutamine supplement may be helpful.

Cancer
Many people with cancer have low levels of glutamine. For this reason, some researchers speculate that glutamine may be helpful when added to conventional cancer treatment. Supplemental glutamine is often given to malnourished cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatments, and sometimes used in people undergoing bone marrow transplants.

Glutamine seems to help reduce stomatitis (an inflammation of the mouth) caused by chemotherapy. Some studies suggest that taking glutamine orally may help reduce diarrhea associated with chemotherapy.

More clinical research is needed to know whether glutamine is safe or effective to use as part of the treatment regimen for cancer.

I can’t speak for Steve or SNS, or his stock anywhere, but I have come back to glutamine as a big proponent of it. Large doses improve the stomach lining and gut health, help bolster the immune system, can reduce DOMS from training, and there doesn’t seem to be any side effects or issues from very large doses. It’s just a conditionally essential amino.

When I have reflux, glutamine curbs it. When I am sick or stressed, it seems to help things faster.

I would try 30g a day, either 3x10g or 2x15g in some water between meals/on an empty stomach for best absorption. Just keep a shaker and the tub on the counter and hit it 2-3x a day. You will want to buy it by the kilo; at 30 grams daily that’s only a month supply really.

I’ve used them but the quality was lower. Nutricost or NOW are better. Nutrabio’s is super smooth, but you’d think it was 2020 the way they still price it (and a lot of their stuff).
@Hyde Now is the only one I saw that you could buy a Kilo ??

Nutricost and NOW both have kilos. They’re extremely similar in price on Amazon. Not sure if NOW would be cheaper at a different retailer, but basically any brand you get should work. Some brands just have a smoother texture and dissolve a bit better I’ve found.

Here in Texas, as you probably know outside of a meat market HEB has the best meats by a long shot. I have heard the Costco has pretty good meat but I haven't ever been to one. The Sam's is like a mile from the house and the costco is about 7 miles and would require a 2nd membership.
I grew spoiled on homegrown grass fed beef but I absolutely think Costco gas quality steaks! I prefer them over any other grocer

I'm going to reply to a couple different posts, but I want to post something quickly before buying decisions are made:

For Glutamine powder, buy NOW Foods glutamine.

I don't say negative things about other brands, but I'll just vaguely say that there are brands that came up about Glutamine that I wouldn't take if someone gave it to me.
